Abby Thomas’ summer starts with tutoring a sullen 11-year-old named Merri Randall. Not fun. But when she discovers a weird program on the girl’s computer, her summer turns amazing. No one knows how Beautiful Houses works, but when it’s set up in an old house, the lives of everyone who ever lived there become an open book. With the click of the mouse Abby can pause, rewind, or fast-forward for a “God’s eye view” of history. Better yet, she can get inside the minds of the people they meet to experience their hopes, fears, and challenges. Finally. A way to find out what really happened in the olden days, the stuff that never made it into the history books. But there are dangers. Sometimes Abby and her friends find out more than they want to know about people and events from the past.

Mystery, History, and Romance This is a great trilogy - compelling, it blends history, mystery, and a Christian romance in an easy-to-read, captivating story. I couldn’t out it down!

Great I read the first book quite awhile ago and loved it but couldn't find the other books. I lucked upon the boxed set and grabbed them. I re-read b-1 and wasted no time reading the set. I was sad when it came to an end, and that's when I found there were at least 3 more books.. I am in 7heaven I'm off to find these books and start another marathon of reading. Loved these books... Amazing I loved all three of the books in this series. Nice, clean, history brought to life in a unique way. Of course some of the subject matter is hard to take but it did happen and if we forget it it just may happen again. If children had history taught to them this way either at home or school I can see them being more excited about Learning.
