    The Carson Kids and the Mystery of Skull Rocks Mansion by Jan Pierson once again offered more than mere mystery for young adult readers. The theme of faith continues as Blake and Jennifer Carson attempt to understand the misfortunes and eerie happenings at the Windridge Inn. I’d say this story is told more through Jennifer’s perspective than Blake’s. Not only does Jennifer help another teen discover faith, she also assists others—including adults—to understand the need Juliet, a young girl, has The Carson Kids and the Mystery of Skull Rocks Mansion by Jan Pierson once again offered more than mere mystery for young adult readers. The theme of faith continues as Blake and Jennifer Carson attempt to understand the misfortunes and eerie happenings at the Windridge Inn. I’d say this story is told more through Jennifer’s perspective than Blake’s. Not only does Jennifer help another teen discover faith, she also assists others—including adults—to understand the need Juliet, a young girl, has to be loved. Of course all this is shown through an intriguing mystery plot, reminiscent of the Hardy Boys/Nancy Drew series. A fun read!
