I’m living for this Yukine power up! 💪🏼💪🏼💪🏼 This whole arc was so good. The story of how Yato became Bishamon’s mortal enemy was really sad and Kazuma has proven his best boy status once again.

Good backstory, as normal. A little strangely placed, but bearable. I can’t believe that last scene. Hiyori won’t call anymore ahhhhhhh.

A wonderful volume which brings the entire current arc to a close. Lots of vicious battling and all the truths finally come out. I really didn't expect things to play out the way they did and I'm feeling all sad for one particular reason. This overshadows, for me, the happiness over how things wrapped up for the others. Such strong conclusion to this arc. I love Kazuma and Bishamon relationship, Yukine’s power up was awesome. The art is top tier per usual.

I wish Bishamon good luck... When I read this book, It wrings my heart. In this book, I can understand what happened in the past. Kazuma is a good partner of Bishamon. He regret his past, but I think it was good judgement...

While I definitely didn’t want to see Yukine die in the last volume, it felt incredibly contrived for him to come back to life immediately as a “blessed vessel” and also be powerful enough to fight away all the more experienced Shinki. Something else I am wondering about: this volume emphasized he whole “God’s can do anything they want, and what they do is by definition right.” I am wondering if they are going to keep up that mantra given that it is so clear that the gods don’t always do the right thing, for themselves or for their wards. They make so many mistakes in this manga, it seems insulting to say they always do the right thing. One other thing: Kaguha didn’t sting Bishamon? Really? Because he always thought he was in the right? Well, does that mean no matter how evil you are, as long as you are convinced that what you are doing is good, you don’t sting your guardian god in this world? So Yukine only stung Yato because he felt guilty for stealing and for lusting after Hiyori?

And while I still hate Kugaha and think he's a fucking obnoxious villain, his motivations and his thoughts on Bishamon were pretty sound. Bishamon has a reputation to uphold because of her name, and he felt she wasn't because she was too busy playing house with her family of shinki. That being said, Bishamon went through an unfathomably traumatic event regarding her past clan, so it makes sense that she would behave the way she did. But I loved how Yato said that what a god does is never wrong because honestly he's right. Bishamon wasn't wrong in pursuing Yato because he did kill her entire past clan save Kazuma, but she also wasn't entirely wrong in how she was taking care of her shinki. Yes, it wasn't the healthiest thing, but it wasn't life or death. Okay, review's over, gotta go cry for a little while...

Hiyori is a big factor in determining Yato's and Yukine's decision. Or perhaps their goals in life. All Yato wants is a substantial amount of followers and Hiyori is the first. She is actually the only constant in his life right now. So despite the fact that God of Intellect (studies?) kept pestering Yato to cut ties, he won't. Yato's in lurveeeeee. Bishamon still hasn't resolved her issue despite it being thrown into her face. Taking care of baby war god would be a hassle but we have Hiyori and Yato for that. That'd be adorable.

This one is probably my favorite so far... This manga series keep getting better and better. It crazy how it can switch from being ultra serious to totally hilarious (like the over the top picnic scene) in a couples of pages. Yato is a serious badass in this one. Pretty good conclusion to the Bishamon arc. Kind of surprised by where the story went. Some of the stuff that I expected to remain status quo changed drastically. This volume honestly kind of takes everything to the next level - not concentrating so much on Yato and his group (though the end kind of kills my heart about them, TBH), but on Bishamon and the entire dramatic thing that's happening there... and dear God, is it dramatic and sad and I kind of teared up at the end of it, honestly. We finally reach the peak of this arc, and how intense it is ! I absolutely loved the way we were brought to the conclusion of it. Mixing the action packed scenes with the heartbreaking flashbacks was incredible, and I adored every second of it. The pacing is done so well that it's actually physically hard to put down. As always, I want to highlight just how well the characters are handled. Of course, we see more and more Yato as he really is, and I find it so interesting. As always, I want to highlight just how well the characters are handled. Of course, we see more and more Yato as he really is, and I find it so interesting. He doesn't want to kill anyone, ever, but he is ready to do it without hesitation if it means protecting everyone else. But seeing him go batshit over protecting Hiyori... And his face when he realised Yukine sacrificed himself only to become blessed... God, it just hits me. He has genuinely such a sweet heart. Yes, you can say I'm in love with Yato. Bishamon is probably the most interesting character. She only ever wants to protect her shinki, who she condiders her family. The only thing is that by trying to protect them, she completely ignored what was obvious and right in front of her face, and hence was way too easy to manipulate. The scene where she falls into Kazuma's arms while sobbing literally broke my heart. I was just thinking that Kugaha's motives were really inconsistent, and I loved that it was actually pointed out by Yato. It made the whole thing just more realistic for me. It was an incredible volume, and I can't wait to read the next one to (re)discover what will happen now that Yato cut his ties with Hiyori. Probably a lot of heartbreak.

The conclusion of the Bishamon arc was pretty epic. The glimpse of Kazuma’s past was both fascinating and heartbreaking. Yato really steps up to the plate in facing the many-faceted Bishamon challenge. While I do feel sorry for Bishamon, I feel like she keeps bringing the big Shinki calamity on herself over and over again. You’d think a girl would learn from her mistakes instead of blindingly blaming Yato for everything. And what about Hiyori? It is safe to say that by now Noragami is my number one Manga, we learn a lot about bishamon and her shinki in this one and it's such an exciting and simultaneously heartbreaking story. Love it! The humor is put on a low note in this volume and it really pulls on all your emotions. The art does wonders to make you really feel the story and live the character feelings. I'm so lucky I decided to buy 3 more volumes cause I can't get enough of this! Surprised how close the Bishamon arc was to the OVA arc we got in the anime. There were quite a few parallels but each very engaging in their own way. The hype died down a little in the volume as the fighting stopped and they started talking to each other. You still had some pretty unexpected moments, especially the end but quite a few bits you could see coming a mile away.

This is a very suspenseful climax to the story arc which includes the plot to destroy Bishamonten. There is a lot in here about what a follower's relationship should be to the god they follow.
