The fourth volume of Dianne Sylvan's Agency series includes The Dreaming Gate and Blue. Shadow Agent Sara Larson is in a rather uncomfortable position: pregnant with an impossible baby that may or may not be one of the saviors of the entire planet, the child of an Elf who may or may not be a lost god. She and Rowan, her lover and friend, retreat to Clan Willow in the Hill The fourth volume of Dianne Sylvan's Agency series includes The Dreaming Gate and Blue. She and Rowan, her lover and friend, retreat to Clan Willow in the Hill Country of Texas to try and find answers about the mysterious forces converging on the Shadow Agency. Meanwhile back in Austin, Rowan's partner Jason tries to heal the rift between himself and Rowan while the cause of that rift, Lex the Seraph, finds himself a target of his own kind. Two opposing entities appear to be conjuring Seraph to do their bidding - but who are they, and where does Lex himself fit in? Time is running out for all of them, as a shadowy figure from a past Rowan doesn't remember reaches out to him, calling them all: Come to the Dreaming Gate.

I originally read The Agency when it was a story on the author’s blog. I’ve loved it from day 1 and never get tired of reading it. The author has a way of writing characters I just fall madly in love with every time. I will always come back to reread this series

5 Stars As with the previous three instalments, the characters were believable, the plot twists exciting and I always seem to read these in a single sitting. Without giving away spoilers, I think this had the most plot-twists, and builds on the more mythical turn that part III brought to light. I can’t wait to read the next part and this gets five stars from me.

Another great book in this series. The only real criticism I have is that this book feels more like a set up for future books leaving the story unresolved. That being said it really is worth the read.

I read The Agency online years ago, but had not read the majority of the events in this book. I always love Sylvan's special brand of vampires, elves, sex, and snark. Hope she continues to build on this world. I read The Agency online years ago, but had not read the majority of the events in this book.
