I’ve never read any previous editions of The Witches Almanac. I had assumed that the book would be focused on spiritual aspects of this belief system. Therefore, I was extremely surprised when I started to look through this years’ edition of the almanac. The topics contained in this book are extremely varied. There was a good deal of very interesting mythological and historical topics. There were also whole sections on herbs and healing properties of different plants. There were even moon charts I’ve never read any previous editions of The Witches Almanac. I had assumed that the book would be focused on spiritual aspects of this belief system. another excellent installment. the herbal theme this year was fascinating, even tho i have little interest in herbology. only one article near the end disappointed, which is a jarring new experience for this almanac regular.
