Starting with a weekend thought to be filled with nothing more than rest and euphoric sex turns out to be a hellish nightmare that neither one will have an easy time waking up from. “…Destruction was everywhere. During one of the moments Jim was awake, he noticed Kate’s body was in a different position. He knew she was experiencing the same sleeping pattern that he was. The problem was their brief waking moments were not aligned. While Jim would be in a deep sleep Kate would awaken for a brief time and while she drifted back into unconsciousness he would gradually awaken for a period. This was frustrating to Jim, for he needed to communicate with her or at least tell her the words, “I love you”…” About the Author: J.D.
