    While I liked the idea of a book aimed at my particular subset of horse enthusiasts, I didn't feel like this book was giving me anything any other basic book about horse care and choosing a horse-loving lifestyle (from casual lessons to leasing to owning) would give, which was disappointing. But you can only narrow the fans of a particular subject so much before you run out of fresh things to say. Horses are horses, no matter who cares for them. This is one of those books that has a great title but feels done after the first chapter (though I went further looking for more, before I bailed.)
