For the most part, I enjoyed this book. I may have actually given it a 4 or even possibly a 5 had it been a complete book. There is no ending. The books just stops. This is one of my pet peeves. I honestly would like to know what happens next but I don't like cheap tactics to get book sales. If it had been a whole book, I would be more likely to buy a book by the author. However, I refuse to buy books by authors that use this tactic. I may read the next book if the library has it but I won't buy it.

I was a little apprehensive about this book because I knew it featured Trevor and I knew it did not have Lana. It broke my heart when she was killed and even though we hardly knew either of the characters it was a horrible loss. I was afraid this book might be too sad and melancholy. A sort of "work through the pain to find some sort of happiness" type tale. Not sure why I was worried. Claudy is one of my favorite authors for a reason. She writes amazing books that never disappoint me. Ok, so he I was a little apprehensive about this book because I knew it featured Trevor and I knew it did not have Lana. A sort of "work through the pain to find some sort of happiness" type tale. Not sure why I was worried. Claudy is one of my favorite authors for a reason. She writes amazing books that never disappoint me. Ok, so here are some of the things I loved about this book: *Jazz is smart (marine biologist smart), fun, brave, spunky, and a bit mysterious. I just liked her. If I were to meet her in real life I would want her to be my friend. She is just an awesome character and a perfect edition to the world Claudy has built. *Trevor is so much more than the fae I thought him to be when I first met him. Watching him develop feelings for Jazz as the book developed, watching him battle his inner demons, watching him interact with the other fae, all of it was just intriguing. Oh and he is hot, so there is that ;). *Frankie may be my favorite character of her's yet (sorry, Breslyn). I can not say much about why without being spoilery, but Frankie is one to watch. *This book is a nice blend of romance, adventure and mystery. It also has returning characters from past books and secondary storylines that make it more than your typical romance. * I could not put it down. I was not even feeling well when I read this, but instead of sleep I made the choice to read until the last word. *The ending had me so, well I can not say what because it will ruin it for you, but let me just say I emailed the author when I was done and not because I was mad at the ending ;). It you love paranormal romance with a smidgen of time travel, some heat, and adventure all mixed into a beautiful created world, you probably want to run and get this book. It would probably be best if you read book one first, but you could jump on board with this one and be ok. I personally loved the fact that I have read all the Shee and Time books because I think it added a lot to the story.

He never associated with humans but is finding that this particular beauty isn’t so bad. Jazmine Decker always thought she belonged in the past until she was transported to 1816 Killarney, Ireland. She was stuck with a rude Royal Fae and a handsome but evil Dark Prince. As a Fios she was always told to beware of the cold-hearted unfeeling Fae, only Trevor doesn’t quite match up with the warnings. Especially with his blood boiling kisses. Trevor is first introduced in book one, Through Time - Pursuit where he joins forces with Chance LeBlanc. They are out to kill the Dark Prince Pestale who killed Chance’s sister and Trevor’s love. Whiplash is a another adventure with plenty of bad characters to be aware of. The reader meets Jazz and Frankie for the first time and many old friends from the Legend series. The Dark Princes are still working to escape the Dark Realm, to take over both the Human Realm and Faery. This book does leave the reader dangling a bit. Book three should be out later this year. Through Time-Whiplash is the second in the Through Time series. I was a little disappointed Royce and Chance did not make an appearance in this book. That being said, it was a super good book to add to the series. Jazmine Decker is a stubbornly sassy Fios. Trevor, royal prince, is a by the rule book Fae. On their journey they get sucked back in time, meet the adorable lass Frankie, go back to the present, then travel to the Dark Realm. The book is nonstop nail biting swooning action. Without giving too much away, I just must say, Please let Frankie somehow be Trev’s and Jaz’s child! They make the cutest little family. The end is a mega cliffhanger! I am anxiously waiting for book 3. I am the type who must know ‘what happens next’, so the cliffhanger is torture! I warn you, you will have many questions at the end of this book.

I have been waiting for this book forever. It is an amazing story. The book picks up where the last one leaves off with Prince Trevor in pursuit of Pestale. This story is fast paced and kept me glued to my Kindle. Much like the other books in the series, this one was full of action adventure and lots of sexual tension.... oh and some very steamy scenes. I have already ordered the next in the series and will be starting it immediately after this one! Love this series!

I would give this book 7 stars if i could. From start to finish I was hooked and found it impossible to put down. Claudy creates such an enchanting world that you are instantly pulled in. The characters that she creates are incredible and you really feel like you are a part of it all. I am counting down the days until the next book so I can see how the story unfolds. :)

First I have to say I completely adore the cover of this book. Its a perfect fit. This book starts off with the Queen and Morgan, a continuation of the last book. I was really looking forward to this book. After what happened to Trevor I was scared. Trevor is a favorite of mine. He has been since he was first introduced. In each book he has really matured and grown into an amazing Prince. My heart broke for him though and was really wanting him to find happiness. She adds the perfect mixer of emotion and humor blending together just right. They soon realize that Pestile's attempt to get loose failed but his evil brother Hordly was allowed through. In this book not only do we have the team of good guys fighting to prevent the dark prince's from taking over but we also have another threat attempting to start trouble. Will they find out before it is too late? While stuck in the past Trevor and Jazz come across a beautiful young girl who is about to get beaten by a man. Jazz saves her and takes her under her wing not realizing that there is something special about the little girl. There is so much more I want to say but I do not want to spoil it for anyone :) Right before the ending there is another amazing twist that will shock and surprise you... You need to read it to find out! You will not be disappointed

This is the first book in the series I read. As such, I struggled to keep track of the characters clearly established in book 1. Interesting time travel with Fae, seelie and unseelie struggling for power. I was disappointed that book ended in a cliffhanger for a Jazz and Trevor though.

This story is about a girl who finds out she is part Fae and all she does is swoon over a guy and pout. Story ends with her coming to terms with her powers but it is all far fetched and not at all following what a Faerie is.

I hadn't read the first book and had no background knowledge of the characters, but that didn't hinder my understanding of the story. This is a good book from an experienced writer who I think could do better, that is perhaps why this review may come across as a little picky. This is a good book from an experienced writer who I think could do better, that is perhaps why this review may come across as a little picky. The Prelude tells of the Queen's secret and forbidden love and the prohibition against time travel. We are also told of Pestale's punishment and return to the Dark Realm, together with Trevor's anger that this punishment is insufficient. The objection being that he is having his memory wiped and given a second chance. There is, unusually, a Prologue as well, which seems a bit of a duplication as they are both defined as a preliminary discourse to the main action. This deals with the background of Jasmine Decker. She is attractive, but unaware, career minded, but with a sense of responsibility. She has abilities as a Fios and can see through Fae disguises, as well as being immune to their magical charms. Jasmine takes a tour group of senior citizens to Kilarny. While they are busy with their tour she takes the opportunity to see the lakes and it is here she sees the monoliths and meets Trevor the Royal Seelie Fae. They are swallowed up by what feels like an earthquake and they are taken back in time. The significance of this time travel is unclear and there does not appear to be much reference to the date, time culture etc. Essentially they could be anywhere, even outside of time. Trevor is portrayed as a contradiction; emotionless and unaffected when it comes to Jazz, yet angry and aggressive in relation to Pestale and justice, compassionate towards Hordly's abuse of human women, yet angry at the dark Prince's disregard for their well-being. He refers to Jazz as a lesser being which infuriates her, but he complains that this is only the truth, seeing nothing wrong in the statement. Her physical response to him, as a man, is very feminine and human, finding it difficult to resist this good looking royal. Hordly is the Dark Prince, Unseelie Fae, he radiates sex appeal and pheromones, but then so does Trevor, therefore how is he distinguished as a character? His sexual violence and disregard for human feeling is disturbing, but serves the purpose of emphasizing his difference. However it does lack any further dimension and as a villain it would have been nice to see another side of his character, even if it reinforced his evil nature. When Jazz is captured by the Dark Prince we see Trevor's concern and jealousy as he comes to rescue her. We also see her Fios power, as a slammer, taking their energy and using it against them. The author then gives us some background information, about how Hordly engineered things so Pestale did not lose his memory to the cauldron. The device of shifting, which Trevor uses to move from place to place, is useful for moving the action forward without having to worry about transporting the characters in the 1800's. However this also prevents the historical context being reinforced. The changing of clothes with just a blink of Trevor's eyes is an interesting idea, until he takes all her clothes off that way and then it becomes a little disturbing. Completing this little group is Francine, a small orphaned child who Jazz rescues from being abused by her step father. Trevor's pledge to look after Jazz now has to extend to this little Fios, something he does with good grace if a little irritation. The ensuing battle between good and evil sees Trevor developing human feelings for Jazz and her nearly dying at the hands of the Dark Prince and the monsters of the Dark Realm. She is rescued and healed by Trevor's blood in order to face the final battle. The ending is very unsatisfactory, leaving us on a cliffhanger for the next novel, but not completing this one.

8/10 Ok, major cliffhanger alert. I was unprepared for that. Unlike the first book, which tied up Royce and Chance's story nicely, this story had a bit more action and a completely open ending as a set up for the next book. He was a believable character and was incredibly strong and romantic...and apparently a very good kisser. I loved the way he puzzled over human cliches and emotions like a confused monkey. However, Jazmine really bothered me in the beginning of the novel. I thought her dialogue was obnoxious and cheesy, but after the action started to pick up, it kind of drowned out her rambling. The main plot in this book was very intriguing, and I can't wait to see how it ends in the next book. The Unseelie princes return with their unquenchable sex drives and complete lack of morals, which is (of course) buckets of fun. I did find it hard to take a villain named "Hordly" seriously. I had a little difficulty fully understanding the political side plot between Aaibhe and the Seelie court; I think much of this conflict was introduced in the Legend series which I have yet to read. There was enough information to follow the plot, but I think I would understand it better if I started with the other series.. This was a very short and very quick story. It did not have the most complex plot, but it certainly kept me interested the whole way through. -Jenny (Sinful Stories)

I really need to pay more attention to these e-books because this is the third one in a row that has been in a series that I have read out of order. I do not like to read them out of order. It seems I'm the only one who didn't know that this was the second book in a series. It also seems I'm the only one who didn't like it. I thought it was too long, too detailed, and too slow. Nothing actually started happening until the end of the book and then all it seemed was sex. I got this book because it was free and had high reviews. Now I regret wasting my time reading it.
