A short book about insomnia that could have been a shorter book. Although there is a lot of superfluous material, it does offer a solution to those who are plagued with sleeping problems. It's not a new concept but it does provide a new focal point to help you still your racing mind and go on to sleep. Rather than counting sheep for example, the author advises you to close your eyes and focus on the light show behind your closed lids~the kaleidocsope. Until reading this, I'd completely forgotten how I used to do this technique as a kid, but called it "flying over the sand"! Anyways, the book was short and simple... nothing I'd label as miraculous but a good reminder of the basics that we too often skip over in our hectic lifestyles. Some of the points in the book were ones we all know, some were good to keep in mind and use. Her "Kaleidoscope Method" seems a little strange. I'm not sure if I can manage that! I'm glad I got this for free. I already knew 95% of more of the recommendations given about getting a good night's sleep. The author has an interesting method for falling asleep, but I don't know that it is "miraculous>" I'm glad I got this for free.
