    Great book! If you are like me and are relatively new to pre-modern day history and you're wanting to get into it, this is definately the book to read. One comlaint is he sometimes sjips over some details. Like the civil war in China he claimed was the worst civil war in history, yet there wasn't really any numerical evidence provided to support the claim. He has an estimation that the civil war cost around 30 million lives, then claims that is over the amount ww1 cost. I dont know if casuality Great book! If you're looking for some neat info on our long history of warfare, i highly recommend this!
