Not What I Was Looking For Not What I Was Looking For I picked up this book looking for tips of how to make a living as a Kindle author and I was expecting to hear about how many books you need to make such and such amount and to have seen stats from the author or from other authors as to how much titles bring in under various genres. This is a super generalized intro book that doesn't tell you how to make a living specifically. I was disappointed but someone that doesn't know anything about Kindl Not What I Was Looking For Not What I Was Looking For I picked up this book looking for tips of how to make a living as a Kindle author and I was expecting to hear about how many books you need to make such and such amount and to have seen stats from the author or from other authors as to how much titles bring in under various genres. The books in this series are quick reads but have viable information for independent authors. This book offers some very sound advice about how to write successful Kindle books including the importance of title, subtitle, cover, keywords, and searching for what is currently trending.

Some decent information on subtitles, pricing, and google searches. worth a read if you're an indie ebook author. Some decent information on subtitles, pricing, and google searches. worth a read if you're an indie ebook author.

Basic but great for beginners If you have no experience writing then this book is for you. I've written some screenplays and had things published outside of kindle so it was not exactly what I'd hoped for...pretty much a book for beginners. But I did manage to find some helpful info. and the author has a genuine, sincere voice, so it's a pleasant read. Seems like he'd be nice. This was my second read from this author. It'sinteresting to see how much the author has improved in his books but also how the overall style is the same. This was a good read with a few useful nuggets of information. This was my second read from this author.
