Only for the very experienced or the very brave Extremely difficult and certainly not for beginners or even intermediate crochet fans. Illustrations are tiny and mainly black and white. Pattern instructions are very difficult to understand let alone follow and lack of stitch illustrations makes it impossible to check if you are actually doing what is stated. Totally confused just from reading this book, I most definitely won't be attempting any, ever. Nice Afghans The Afghans in this book is suited for those with an above beginner skill level. There were only two afghans I liked but would not duplicate, but to each there own.

Not for the Beginner This book is sort of complicated. Definitely not for the beginner. I did try to use for my needle arts class, but my younger students were not comfortable with many of the suggested patterns. I myself enjoyed the book. I had already completed some of the patterns, so I could show the students, and was able to demonstrate somewhat. But even my more advanced students had issues with the patterns using thread rather than yarn.

I didn't mean to buy this book. An ebook isn't a good choice for a crochet pattern. I hate every Afghan in the book. It's outdated and ugly . I don't want it. Could you take it back?? For the advanced! These patterns do not pretend to be easy, but they are classic designs from the heyday. They look really beautiful and comforting.
