The title of this book has been changed to Writer on Fire: How to Smash Through the 8 Obstacles Preventing You from Writing 120,000 Words a Month or More. The original title is far more appropriate for this book and under that title I would never have purchased this book. That's probably why the author changed it. If you are, or aspire to be, a hacky online-writer-for-hire, this is your book. There is nothing wrong with choosing that as your career path or as the topic for a book, but positionin The title of this book has been changed to Writer on Fire: How to Smash Through the 8 Obstacles Preventing You from Writing 120,000 Words a Month or More. There is nothing wrong with choosing that as your career path or as the topic for a book, but positioning this book as anything other than that is deceptive. The book is poorly written and badly edited. This is not the level of quality I'd expect from someone I'd look to for writing advice. There are numerous links plugging the author's other works, and he pushes a low-carb diet throughout the book. What does that have to do with writing? Exactly. I only paid US$0.99 for this book, but that was still too much.
