Not a great start to this incarnation of the Man of Steel. I hope things improved as the series continued.

If you think you know Superman, Grant Morrison will show you another look at him, another way that his origin can be taken, and tweaked to show the same man, and yet a different man. This was the whole point of the New 52 that DC comics brought out. Not exactly a reboot, because the origin remains very similar, but a sideways glance, a look at a world where the government was very aware that something had come to earth, and were trying to track it down. I enjoyed the retelling. We read this in class today. The consensus was that this was a return to 1938's "smash stuff" Superman, but I liked it because it has a lot of potential for growth. I might have to look into this series now. We read this in class today. este primer numero de Action Comics de la Era New 52, esta vision de superman de Grant Morrison no me gusto mucho , el dibujo si estuvo muy bueno pero el nuevo diseño de superman no me convence del todo.

Superman v botách. A není moc oblíbený a tak ho armáda chce ulovit pomoci konzultanta Luthora.

Ainsss

I've decided to get into comics, and thought that it would be a good idea to at least start with The New 52, since the DC Universe is vaste and kind of complicated, everything leading up to Crisis on Infinite Earths. Now, I love superheroes, and I love everything Marvel is doing with MCU. Learning that in the new 52, they have made Superman weaker, is something I don't really take a stand on, I know too little about Superman, to give my opinion on this matter, but anyhow it feels good to be able I've decided to get into comics, and thought that it would be a good idea to at least start with The New 52, since the DC Universe is vaste and kind of complicated, everything leading up to Crisis on Infinite Earths. *meh* the art, panel break down and that choppy dialog really makes it hard to get into this. But at the same time I love Clark's land lord, and Jimmy. Actually new Louis is an ass kicker too. She's a total intense modern woman, and I'm glad they're not making her a love interest. But there were a few action sequences I just couldn't figure out what was going on because of the illustrator's style. However, superman reminds me a lot of the CW's Flash combined with that "vigilante on the run" vibe *meh* the art, panel break down and that choppy dialog really makes it hard to get into this. A good job! Morrison takes the essence of the 1938´s Superman and gives us a new story. I don´t know about the complete series and how this is going to end but I expect this story to continue like this. The art is simply amazing!

My second book that I have read in the DC new 52 and I really dug it. It was nice to see a less mature version of Superman.

Interesting intro to the Man of Steel. Where is the costume. He definitely. Is returning to his roots as a bit more ruthless and over the law character.
