A heart-breaking story of the three Von Blucher brothers who gave their lives on in the German airborne invasion of Crete. The book follows the three brothers from their childhood and schooling into the German Fallschirmjäger units that lead the way onto Crete. They all had brief actions before their untimely deaths on Crete in the savage fighting and they all were brave young men. This is a very well researched book and very interesting to tell the brave young men from the German side's story.
