Very good book. I thoroughly enjoyed it. I definitely recommend it. It talks about seven habits you should have as a Christian. I may even read this book again which is my way of saying "I like it". The title of this book is so accurate. Life changing. I read this book fairly quickly. I wanted to read it all in one sitting but knew I needed to take time to reflect on what I was reading. But it's so fantastic. One I will definitely read over and over. The title of this book is so accurate. Life changing. I read this book fairly quickly. Christian fear-mongering at it's finest. If you are Christian that smugly displays your yard sign, "The wages of SIN are DEATH!," I think you will love this book. If you are a person that needs to hear you are not doing well enough and if you don't do better you're going to hell, then I think you will love this book. The prmise of the book is promising, but as a recovering southern baptist kid, I'm very familiar with the baseball bat (engraved with "Beloved") that the writer is swinging at the reader's head. Rather than draw people to Christ, it is repelling them so fast they're tripping over their own feet to get away. The book starts out innocently enough, but by the end the author has worked himself into what I call a "hell and damnation" fervor. It starts to develop a fanatical cult vibe, rather than the marriage of truth and grace that the Bible really presents. A few quotes from the book, "Our works are good for nothing filth." Umm...while we are not SAVED by works, God calls us to good works and finds them pleasing."Those who do not have Christ are inherently evil." "Therefore, beloved, the curses of the Levitcal law are sill in effect....Seeing that these things are true, have fear...""Seperate yourself from all wordly influences...If anything distracts your from Christ you should remove it from your life." "When God slams that door you'll be injured in his judgement." Regardless of religious doctrine, the book itself is poorly written. The author uses short, choppy sentences that lack flow and interest. It's also extremely repetitive - for example the ebook is only 70 pages, yet Houge uses "Therefore" 45 times and "It is written" 49. There are a few typos and many, MANY grammatical errors. I'm a marketer, so I can forgive grammar for style...but there's no style here. Finally, the "guidance" given on these habits is so over-simplified that it is not only NOT helpful, but seems heartless in some areas. Example, "If you do not want to do the things of Christ, do them anyway." I believe that the author's heart is in the right place and hope he will take his own advice, discerning the voice of the Holy Spirit to speak both love and truth. We are saved by faith alone. Our faith inspires love for God. Our love leads to acts that honor God and his great love for us, but there is no checklist that snatches away salvation if we fail, so if you're a seeker, please don't let books like this discourage you on your journey.

I loved the whole book, overall. Talk about a reality check! Wake up and smell the coffee! God doesn't sleep on us so why should we sleep on him. Engaging and refreshing spiritual lessons Such an edifying book, denunciations informing thereafter in such a passionate way, how to live, abiding in Christ, and highlighting the steps for every Christian to draw closer to God, in order to come into alignment with his divine will for our lives. Thank you Adam for your spirit led literature. God bless you in your ministry, now and always.

The title really rings true. If you master the habits that Adam Houge sets forth in this book, you will find your life changed for the better. Regardless of the circumstance or highs and lows of life, you can live in constant peace and joy and if you make these habits a lifestyle. It is a short, concise, yet friendly read. I recommend it to anyone!

Inspirational This book was thorough and incredibly inspiring!! There were tons of Bible references and they supported the book beautifully! Highly recommended to those who enjoy religious reads.

Nothing inspiring This book is very basic and perhaps intended for those who have never been spiritual people, but for myself, attending church since birth and being a devoted follower of Christ since then, this book was too juvenile for me.

Truth with love This book is so well written. I feel like this author is a modern day Paul. He pulls the truth from the Bible and makes it very digestible in today’s terms. He is straight forward with love and kindness, yet bold in Christ.

This was a great book. Always put God first in your life. we have all been guilty of doing what pleases us. we have our routine that, we think, keeps us going. what I mean by this is, we go to work and look forward to the weekend so we can enjoy our routines, sports, crafts, having friends over, drinking, you know, those things that we like to do. if we would think more about our eternity we may decide to pray more often thus becoming a better person, one that our Lord would be proud of. eternity This was a great book. I would choose eternity with God, I would rather live 90 years for God then eternity in hell where there is constant pain and torture.

"if a person surrounds themselves with bad things they will become sinful." this is typical writing "style" in this book. statement of the obvious. weak grammar, weak punctuation, weak proofs. at the end of the the book, there is a statement that the author is world-renown. maybe so, but this book is weak. don't do bad things. love the Lord. this is what I got out of the book. I really enjoyed and learned a lot about how to be a better Christian. The 7 habits make great sense and the author used many scripture passages to help explain each of the habits and why we should obtain them.
Maryann Moffit –
Just ok. It wasn't bad but it wasn't what I expected. I have a little trouble understanding the difference between surrendering will entirely as opposed to being responsible for oneself. Just ok. Great read I love this book, great insights and instructions. You need to apply these steps on a daily basis until you have formed a new habit. As with anything in your life that you desire to change.
Christian Cashelle –
On time message I am ashamed to say that I had this downloaded for quite some time before actually reading. These 7 habits seem like common sense, but the explanations given really put a fire under me to apply them to my everyday life.

I will definitely recommend this book!!! It was short enjoyable and inspiring to my soul. I feel I have done some of these habits already and yet when I see them in writing it brought me to a different level of intimacy with our creator. ThAnk you for writing this wonderful book
