My friend Louie Castiota is quite a guy. His daughter Brooke was born with special needs. He and and his wife, after sampling what the medical and educational establishment have in store for these children and their families, thought there must be a better way. For 14 years no obstacle too high or no fence too wide for Louie. They told him, no...he didn't listen...they told him go away... he didn't. He and and his family and a cobbled collection of "angels" as he calls them have started "Leg-Up Farm" near York Pa. It features equestrian therapy, services for the famililies, and , a little town for kids of all difficulties to hone their socialization skills, a school, and coming soon...a working nursery...all on moxie, and a dream. What a magnificent place it is! "Leg Up" is Louie's can do story and the people whose lives he's changed. A quick read but as inspirational story as you'll read in your lifetime.
