I know I already watched the anime, but it feels as if I'm reliving the experience once more. The introduction to another one of the Seven Deadly Sins (I don't want to spoil it for you even though it's quite obvious.). I believe all or almost all of the scenes are the same in the anime. Nevertheless, it is an amazing book and I can't wait to read Vol. 4! I know I already watched the anime, but it feels as if I'm reliving the experience once more. I get it, author, our heroes are strong and their magic is awesome. It's awesomer than any magic. It's so awesome that what ten mystical dragons couldn't bring down with all their might, two Sins can bring down in play. Towards the end of the volume an actual challenge might pop up, but the series is thus far light on plot and heavy on overpowered fighting. God, can this series get any better? I can't find a single flaw. I love it so incredibly much. God, can this series get any better? I can't find a single flaw. I love it so incredibly much.

Ban and Meliodas reunion was something :p :p :p bunch of children :p :p :p with destruction power! Good fights but those are not really the good holy knights right ? And we Meet The Sin of Sloth - The Grizzly Bear - King, from the Fairy's Realm. Ban and Meliodas reunion was something :p :p :p bunch of children :p :p :p with destruction power! I just get so happy reading this. The journey is wonderful and the the characters have a realist personality even if their powers are not.

King is so cute in his child-like form. And Ban is so great. I love his relationship with Meliodas.

As much as I'd like to enjoy this series, it often feels like its humour and its action overrules the plot although the story is slowly getting into much more interesting grounds. Nonetheless, this volume introduces another member of the Seven Deadly Sins and their reunion is nothing short of intense! 3.5 Stars Best volume so far. Ban really really carries this thing for me, and this volume features a lot of him hence, the higher rating. King is pretty interesting too out of the main cast. The rest though? Meh, honestly.

I really don't know how to feel about this series... it's alright but it's not particularly interesting. I am only reading the first 5 volumes and then I'll probably just watch the anime. I'm definitely not invested enough in the manga to keep reading it past volume 5 (reading volumes 1-5 for a Book-of-the-Month pick) I really don't know how to feel about this series... it's alright but it's not particularly interesting. My favorite sin had joined the team , Ban the fox sin of greed <> It’s all started with a fight between ban and the captain , then it terns to be a game more like a challenge . Loved this volume .

However, my favorite interactions actually come from Ban and Hawk, which are hysterical and absolutely adorable! The action from the previous volume comes to an end within the beginning of volume three. However, the action doesn’t stay quiet for long. There is a short reprieve that has a lot of character development individually, the most for Ban, and as a group. Also, if you look hard enough, you’ll actually see some major story development happening at this time as well. The break doesn’t last for long, and soon our heroes are dancing with danger again. The action sequences are rather interesting, especially since our heroes abilities really start to take shape in this volume. Readers will definitely start to understand the Sins’ various strengths and weaknesses, and how they fight together. The fights in this volume I found to be really intense, but interesting and unique as well. This volume also has some Holy Knight character designs with some info for those individuals. There’s also a bonus chapter that shows some character development, but it’s mostly just a cute little side story that didn’t fit the main flow of the story.

I liked this volume more than the others. We saw more of Ban and got some info on his past. Also King. Less pervy stuff, but it managed to insert one in the bonus chapter :( whyyyy. Jericho holy knight who was not match for Ban, but still wants to be a main villain. Nice try gurl. Spoilery Stuff: I like how Elizabeth and Diane are getting along better. I liked the moment in the beginning where she tells Elizabeth that she still matters because she can touch people's hearts. King is a kid too? It see I liked this volume more than the others. It seems that he's somehow with the holy knights against his will, but not in a prisoner sort of way.  Guila. Talk about dedication to the cause. Killing yourself to get to the deadly sins. That's too much. Either she has a way out, or is dumb. We found out about Ban killing the spirit of the Fountain of Youth, Elaine. Who, get this, happened to be King's sister. I was wondering why he hated Ban so much after being in the same group as him. Also now we know Ban's powers. Can't die. I knew he had a vamp aura about him. Probably why I like him. But why is his torso so long. It makes me think of a centipede. He doesn't seem to be a great guy. But he is the sin of greed so...whadya expect?

The good: -The plot is improving by getting complex. You want to know what were the mechanics between the seven deadly sins. -Ban character is very interesting. -How they enter to the capital of the dead. Who did it? Though nothing is said, everything is clear. -King backstory is an interesting mistery. The bad: -The author refuses categorically to give answers. Volume 3 and still I have no clue of what happened, and whats going to happen. What are Meliodas motivations?

Lots of mixed feelings here. Not sure if I'll continue the series or not. I may read one more book, just because I have it out from the library anyway and they're pretty quick reads, but I probably won't continue much past that unless Book 4 is really compelling. Also, I said this once already, but I'll say it again in an actual review: Ban isn't as interesting as I thought he was. He's more just a jerk with an aesthetic. Lots of mixed feelings here. Improvement after two first books although Ban's failure to recognize King is unnecessarily prolonged. Diane is my favourite character! I also wish Elizabeth would have more to do than be "inspiration" to others, she's so very trope-y... anyway, it's an alright adventure but I don't quite see why this series is so popular. Really disliked the bonus chapter, which was just random, but I really liked the rest. So far this volume had the most differences from the anime. Still feel like I prefer the anime, but it is neat to see the differences and have a bit more explained.
