A little FAITH can get you through… One night. That’s all Finn had with the only girl he ever loved. I have to say.. I can't technically give this 5 stars. More like 4.5 because it was just missing something for me. I actually really adored the characters. They were COMPLETELY different. But were so genuine in their reactions toward each other. I did see the connection between them as well. What bothered me was it took forever for the 'horrible thing that must happen that separates the characters' to happen. You know what I'm talking about. I'm not saying I didn't enjoy their start out. Because I did. Finn could be so sweet to her! And Faith was just innocent! But definitely not in an annoying way. Then, when the 'horrible thing that must happen' happened, the story just flew by. I wish the last half of the story had more focus and was stretched out. It all happened so fast, when the beginning was so slow. And when they reunited and realized the 'the horrible thing that must happen' was a mistake, BAM! just happily ever after. The next you knew the epilogue was there and that was that! But regardless, it was a great story that everyone should definitely read! And to be honest, you really don't need to read the first two to understand it! Can't wait for the next one (:

FAITH FINN BLURB: Faith has been sheltered all her life, a typical pastors daughter, long skirts and shy smiles, she fears the walking piece of sin that turns up in church one day. Finn is rough round the edges, growing up in foster homes, he's finally got a Mom, a home and friends. Drug taking, girls and drinking is part of his weekly routine. After being accused of vandalism, he's ordered to attend church for a month. Finn evokes feelings inside Faith that she has never felt before, her sexual discovery awakened by him. “What happened to the sweet and innocent Faith?” he asked with a grin that showed his dimples. “She had a taste of Finn.” Friendly encounters turn into more and they slowly fall for each other, she is growing into a young woman and she releases love and sweetness from him. “Say it again,” he said roughly, as if tears were clogging his throat. “Say what?” “Call me sweetie.” Both are facing troubles at home, Faith with her abusive, controlling Father and Finn with his drinking and drug-taking friends and lifestyle. Soon they begin to enter dangerous forbidden territory. Tragedy strikes and Faith and Finn are separated for four years. He's been crushed by her, finding himself drinking, fucking and playing with his now up and coming band. She's been working her fingers to the bone and harbouring a secret. - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - Little disappointed that there was 60% dedicated to the young love part. I would have really liked to have seen them as a couple, re-discovering each other properly without the heavy drama, and slowly but surely falling all over again. It felt a little rushed after the re-union. The plot reminded me of another book, but I’m not sure which... (view spoiler)[Young forbidden love, separated by parent/s, forged letters sent to the H/h from the H/h saying bad things and that they don't want to see each other any more. Finding each other years later, hating each other, only to find out it was all lies and they still love each other (hide spoiler)] ? Anyone know? I adored the teen-forbidden love between the two. She was genuinely innocent, wholesome and good. He was incredibly sad inside, messed up and damaged, but so sweet and kind. I understood him being horrible to Faith when they saw each other again, he had abandonment issues and Faith messed him up more than anyone. I really felt them falling for each other and their pain. There was also some lovely quotes. For Bad Boy/Good Girl lovers, this is a must. FAVE QUOTES “Just relax, baby. It's only fair. I sang for you. Now lay back and I’ll make you sing for me.” “Do you know I’ve been pushed away my entire life? There was always someone giving me away like I was nothing.” “Are you going to hide behind pretty boys with clean thoughts all your life? Because I know you're not the saint your daddy thinks you are. I saw the hot look in your eyes when you thought I was going to kiss you. I know you secretly dream of dirty boys with filthy thoughts.” “I'd kill anyone who tried to take you away... either that or I’d die fighting for you. No one will ever take you away from me – ever.” My star ratings: 1* Complete trash 2* Waste of time really, but I carried on for some reason 3* Half decent, sometimes down to personal preferences 4* Could read this again, only a little thing is missing, maybe more humour or romance etc... 5* Would read this again and again, unique story, adore this author

Divided into two parts, I must say I loved the first part. It was everything I expected it to be. It was in this section that I completely fell in love with Finn and Faith. How they met, their interaction with each other, and their romance. It wasn't rushed, their attraction was there but they gave in slowly...the anticipation was the best of all. I couldn't stop reading, I was obsessed with Finn. I needed to know what happened next, how they were going to overcome Faith's father. I couldn't stop reading, I was obsessed with Finn. I needed to know what happened next, how they were going to overcome Faith's father. All the way until Faith leaves Finn, I was into the book. That is until the second part. Fast-forward 4 years.... The second part: I didn't like it as much. It felt rushed, almost no details even when they're vital to the story. I felt that the author missed a lot on Faith's father. She never explained why happened to him other than Faith and her mother had left him. It felt unfinished for me and, if you ask me, I thought it was a big chunk of the story. Throughout the first part (this book is divided into two sections), I loathed Faith's father for abusing Faith for so long. And I only talk about the first section because in the second part, we hear nothing about him. I was hoping for something horrible to happen to him. God knows he deserved it. I waited and waited and nothing. I wanted to rip my hair out. How can the author not expand on her father? He is our antagonist! Of course, us readers, want to know that justice will be delivered. It never comes and I was quite disappointed. Then, Faith's mother. No one can blame me for hating her as well (perhaps not as much as Faith's father). If I had her in front of me, I'd ask her, How can you stand by and not do anything while your husband is hitting your only child? Flesh of your own flesh? She is suppose to protect her, for God's sake. Then, in the second section, we learn that she divorces Faith's father and, together with Faith, they both leave him. But then, she has a stroke and Faith is forced to work two jobs to keep a roof on their heads and food on the table. I don't know but I felt that Faith's mother was pointless, she might as well be dead. She did nothing for Faith except write those awful letters that ultimately led to their separation. Finn I loved this man in the first section. I really did. Even young as he was, he was so much better than other male characters I have read. But then, in the second part, he is a completely different person. All my love for him went down the drain. I skipped so much while I was on his POV. Man-whore, cold, bitter, loved to humiliate Faith. He was not the Finn I fell in love with. So, I skipped a lot through the second part. I just wanted to get to the end and be done with it. In all, I wouldn't say NOT to read this book. It isn't bad at all. It did feel rushed and I was disappointed at times but I finished the book and that says a lot. With that being said, I wouldn't read it again but I'd read other books from this author.

"Finding Faith" is actually a pretty good novel. It's not "perfect," but how many novels really are? In short, it's about a girl who grows up in a very strict totalitarian home, as the daughter of a Baptist minister. She falls in love with a "bad boy," & the plot takes off from there.... The author does an incredible job of describing Faith's home life & the values and beliefs that have been ingrained in her since birth. She's torn-- not just by her religious beliefs & by the intense brainwashing "Finding Faith" is actually a pretty good novel. It's not "perfect," but how many novels really are? This novel is rife with moral & spiritual dilemmas, thus making it an interesting read. As I said before, it isn't a "perfect" novel, but it was one that I couldn't put down. I ended up reading it in one sitting.... It's probably one of the "better" New Adult books that I've read in the past year. *3.75/5 stars*

This was ok - Faith and Finn were ok but I felt as though it was missing something. Even though we got the first love and the the reunion parts it still felt a but off. I wish more of the book was spent on them reuniting. I wanted to see how their love grew whilst spending so much time apart and then with a child in the picture. Too much of their reunion was spent with petty games and no talking through crap!! I have a difficult time with novels with couples that break up or get torn apart through varying circumstances for years and then waste time playing stupid mind games with each other. Anyways will read the other books in the series but I thought this would have been better.

4.5 stars I loved everything about this story except for two “coincidences“ Vargo created for the story. She’s waaaay more talented than that! I know she is capable of writing something more realistic events, but like I said, everything else about this book was phenomenal!!!

Finding Faith is SO different than anything else Tabatha Vargo has written. I know this because I automatically purchase and devour anything that she puts her name to. It wasn’t by any means a bad different, nor a good different. Just different. Faith… sometimes it’s passionate and fleeting. One minute you’re swimming in it, diving into the deepest recesses of the one you worship. You bathe in their heat as their healing presence swarms all around you and builds an almost unbreakable devotion. For me, Faith took a bit of warming up to, but once I got a few chapters in, I could feel her presence in the pages. To the outsiders in her world, she was kind of invisible. She went un-noticed by pretty much everyone, except her Pastor Father who made it his life’s mission to beat the god-fearing into her and her best friend Amanda that tries so hard to convert her to the land of the living. If it looks like a sinner and talks like a sinner, then it must be a sinner. And one thing I knew about the stranger in front of me was that he was made for sin. - Faith One fateful day, one meeting, one exchange, is all it takes for things to begin to change. Not only for Faith, but for Finn. The boy from the wrong side of the tracks that showed Faith what goes on in the real world. The world outside of the church and the bible. The pastor’s daughter – somehow she became ten times more appealing. I’m not sure what it was about untouchable girls, but it was human nature to want something you couldn’t have. The odds of me bagging a preacher’s daughter were slim to none, but I’d never cared much about odds. – Finn Honestly, this story broke me. It did. I sped through the pages desperate for those glimpses of happiness, and they were there, but few and far between. She lived within the lines that were drawn for her. I refused to believe that Finn was bad. I wouldn’t accept the fact that my soul was in danger with him. Not when I’d just been so close to heaven in his arms. She felt boring and that the rest of her existence was doomed to be the same. Bit by bit she broke out of her confines, defying the beliefs that were beaten into her and learnt to see the world in color rather than a haze of black and white. He was teaching me new ways to live, and I was sucking up his lessons like they were my survival. – Faith Finn has his own issues and life hadn’t treated him like royalty either. Before Faith he wandered through day by day. I lost track of time. I lost all rational though, but I gained so much in that moment. I gained insight into something that was real. – Finn She changed him, just as much as he changed her. First he made her feel pretty, then beautiful, and eventually sexy. He owned her body and soul. “Just relax, baby. It’s only fair. I sang for you. Now lay back and I’ll make you sing for me.” Life wasn’t kind to these pair, but there was no thing or no one that anyone could do for them, except for themselves and each other. After a tragic accident, another curve ball was thrown their way, and their house of cards tumbled down all around them. “You bled for me? Well, I didn’t bleed for you, Faith. I died for you. There’s a big fucking difference. You didn’t wound me; you killed me. You murdered the boy I used to be in his sleep and he’s never coming back… - Finn Years and much heartbreak later these two met again in the most unlikely place. It couldn’t happen soon enough for me. I was rooting for Finn and Faith from the first to the last. Can they work out their differences and break down the issues that separated them to begin with? You will have to read it to find out how it all goes down. I’d looked for it my entire life, but finally, I’d found Faith, and it took me a while to realize that I didn’t have faith. Faith had me. - Finn Bravo Ms Vargo on another wonderful story that made me laugh and cry and swoon…

You just want to shelter them but they are strong characters and even though some of their struggles are hard to read, you know that they will pull through each time and be even better because of it. In the first 2 Blow Hole books you get a small glimpse of Finn, the lead singer. I was fully prepared to have to warm up to him. I expected him to be another hard ass with layers. The more layers the author peels away, the more you like him. I DIDN’T expect to love Finn right away. I DIDN’T expect him to be a really good guy. Finn is an amazing character. As a child he's bounced around from foster home to foster home until finally he's adopted and has a place to call his own. His adoptive mother is sick and even as a teenager his top priority is taking care of her. One day Finn finds himself in the wrong place at the wrong time and ends up being slapped with 30 days community service for something that he didn't do. Now he has to show up every day and help out at the very church that he was accused of vandalizing. Enter Faith. The pastor's daughter. Finn and Faith just mesh so well together. She's been taught her whole life to fear boys like him but she gives him a chance and they form and unlikely friendship that blossoms (and wilts) throughout the book. Finding Faith was both tragic and uplifting at the same time. I literally went through the whole range of emotions while reading it. And really, what more could you ask of a book? You WILL laugh. You WILL cry. Trust me on this one. I was surprised to find that this was my favorite book in the series (I really loved Zeke) and even after 418 pages, I still wanted more. I don't know how Tabatha Vargo managed to hook me so thoroughly, but she has. My only regret with the Blow Hole series is that I read it too fast and now I have to wait to see what this amazing author comes up with next.

There is only so much a gal can take when opening a book by Tabatha Vargo! I know for a fact, I will never miss a chance to read one of her books! She is by far one of the best authors I have read! Okay that's enough love for Tabby, on to Finn and Faith! Lets start with Finn... I'm talking about sinful thoughts, not your ordinary 'Oh my goodness I just want to eat him up kind of thoughts!' Let's just say eye candy is not a strong enough term to use when picturing Jimmy Finn. There's gotta be something I could use to describe his sweetest, caring, sexy and loving self... Nah I think that might be it until you cross him, then he's a complete and utter dick head! hahaha Okay I'll get on with it, Finn's exceptional character has you swooning over his actions and when he's getting warmed up, believe me you can't possibly ignore it as your own body temperature rises uncontrollably. ::chills:: Moving right along now... Now what can I tell you about Faith that you don't already know... Ever felt like the world around you was moving yet you are standing still in the middle of a field with no way out? Well that's how Faith feels, she's been the angel all her life, right from wrong instilled into her at a very young age. Her father believes she is weak and so he treats her horribly. Being the Preacher Man's daughter is not all it's cracked up to be. Then guess who walks into her life? 'OH HELLS YES!' The one and only Finn with his swagger and sweet come on lines... Sin in Faith's eyes just got a lot more tempting! Only one thing can tame her once she's had a taste of Finn... And only one person has the power to pull at Finn's heartstrings... Once you've had a taste of Finn there is no turning back ladies... Get your hands on him before he passes out from being passed around so much! I will be going back for more...

Wow. This book was by far my favorite of the Blow Hole series to date. Details were further explained like how the band got their name (which was missing from Book 1 and 1.5) and the POV changes weren't as over done but perfectly recapped just enough to give you a bit more without too much (which happened a lot in the previous books too.) I know some don't like the POV recaps but really, authors print a whole different book because people do like getting into the head of both characters. This al Wow. Tabatha has found her groove! I loved Faith and Finn's approach and outlook on faith and Faith. In this tale, Faith is obviously sheltered. When Finn thinks about, he says "it was kind of depressing. She was a teenager. It was her job to experience all the crazy shit possible. It's how you become a good adult. You live and you learn. She was going to be thirty and still clueless to what life had to offer." And Faith's recognition of how different lead singer Finn is to her world. "He might be a full-blown sinner, but his eyes were made of heaven and when he looks at me, there was warmth that I'd never known." Together Finn and Faith go through years of trials and in the end, well finding faith is what mattered. It was excellent. I hope book 3 continues on this same path.

I think I should stop reading these books...or at least by this author. The thing is, they are really good...until the end. Once again she has written something wonderful, but diminished it by trying to tie it all up rather quickly at the end. I wonder if Megan will reappear for Chet, and I'm REALLY interested in Tiny's story....I guess from here on out I will just have to keep in mind, that the end of these books will be rushed, maybe then it won't be so disappointing.

I honestly really wanted to like this book, but sadly I had a few issues with it. I didn't like the fact that so much of the book was set in the past. I understand we need to fully understand the depth and love of the characters but I felt the second half of the book which was set in current day was far too rushed. Also I felt like we were cheated with constant overlaps between the different character points of view. 5 Rocking Stars!! I really love the story and the characters. Finn the troubled but sweet and loving guy while Faith is the innocent preachers daughter. The devil fallen to an Angel kinda thing. I really did enjoy reading the first part, the drama and stuffs.. though there some things I will pin point like it took them forever to figure things out and I think the second part is a bit rushed? I think they focused in too much drama .. But still the story is a great read and definitely HEA!!

Now where to begin with Finding Faith. I started this book about a month ago and dropped it because the mood wasn't right for me to read it. In anticipation of the release of Craving Constance. But let me tell you i felt like a huge fool when i recently picked it back up and finished it. Ever get these moments where you wanna kick yourself for not trying or doing something earlier...yea..well that's what i felt with this book. Now onto the juicy details. In anticipation of the release of Craving Constance. But let me tell you i felt like a huge fool when i recently picked it back up and finished it. Ever get these moments where you wanna kick yourself for not trying or doing something earlier...yea..well that's what i felt with this book. Now onto the juicy details. This book is a part of a series called The Blow Hole Boys. The first two books in the series are called Perfecting Patience and Playing Patience. It focuses on the guitarist Zeke and his leading lady Patience. Now I truly enjoyed the first two books in the series and when i heard about Finn getting his own story i was like......hell yeah sign me up. I was very curious as to why Finn acted the way he did. Let me tell you this story did not disappoint. Faith the leading lady of the story is your good preacher girl. Now the feels i had for this couple was crazy. First of all Faith is such a strong girl. (warning will contain spoilers enter at your own risk) I mean staying strong after her father beat her. She was so brave she didn't let him break her. Finn gets caught doing graffiti which we find out wasn't really his fault. He just got caught at the wrong place at the wrong time. He has to do community service in a church i wonder what church could he possibly be volunteering at. Oh thats right Faith's church. So when they first meet Finn thinks Faith is an angel which is cute. As the days go on they grow closer and she finds out that he's not that bad of a person. Finn he's the definition of a bad boy. Man he melted me with his words and his tenderness. Of course it wouldn't be a good book without a villain. Well it's Faith's father surprise surprise. Now this man i wanted to reach into the book and slap him with one of his belts. Her father thinks he's the spawn of the devil. After the horrifying accident with two of his band mates and Faith's friend, daddy dearest thought it was best to move Faith to California. Of course Faith was like "hell no dad i'm not going to the Valley nope not without my hunky man." and he was like "oh really well guess what you are or else i'm throwing him in jail". And of course as readers we were all like oh hell no you didn't just say that everything from then on was expected. Of course with the letters we all thought that for sure her father wrote i wasn't expecting her mother at all. Now the biggest shock of the century was when Faith got pregnant with Jimmy. Like i told you guys this girl is no joke. She really gave me the courage to do the scary things in life cause they end up being the most significant decision in your life. This book was really awesome and i absolutely loved it Finn Faith Favorite Quotes If it looks like a sinner and talks like a sinner, then it must be a sinner. And one thing I knew about the stranger in front of me was that he was made for sin. - Faith

Loved this book! We have a trend going here - Zeke was a trailer park kid, only cared about drugs, music & girls, and he found his salvation in sweet but emotionally & physically broken Patience. Now we have the lead singer of the Blow Hole Boys, Finn, & we go back in time to when he served community service at a church and met his salvation, Faith. Faith & Patience? Yep! Faith is abused by her pastor father who hasn't gotten the memo that we don't hurt our children these days. She sees somethin Loved this book! Faith is abused by her pastor father who hasn't gotten the memo that we don't hurt our children these days. She sees something in Finn that attracts her to him, but even more so she is attracted to him physically which is a whole new territory for Faith. Finn is also from the wrong side of the tracks & has been in & out of foster care until he finally settled down with his current mother & they have developed a very special bond, especially now that she has been diagnosed with MS & needs his help. Finn is a lot like Zeke, sells drugs, plays around with girls but doesn't make serious commitments. But being around Faith makes him want to be a better man, to get a real job, stop selling drugs, no more sleeping around. Faith starts sneaking out at night, or Finn starts sneaking in her window, and they know what they have is true love. After a friend's car accident, Faith's father really freaks out & moves them to California, threatening to expose Finn's past & tear him away from his mother. So many misunderstandings occur & it is four years before Finn & Faith cross paths again. Finn is now a famous rock star & Faith is down and out, taking any kind of job she can get. Finn is really hurt & he is so cruel to Faith, but she holds it together so she can continue to support her family. Finn finally finds out the truth about their past by reading Faith's journal & they have their happy ending. I love how these boys who came from nothing just really want to give love & be loved in return, to have real families with a real future. So good!!

Last summer I was introduced to Tabatha Vargo through Amber Leaf Summer Read my reading goal last year was to find new authors to me so I became to follow some blogs. I fell in love with Patience and Zeke in Playing Patience and Perfecting Patience (Blow Hole Boys 1 + 1.5). I loved Tabatha Vargo emotional style of writing. So when I was setting up my 2014 TBR list I couldn’t believe that I hadn’t yet read Finding Faith. This story revolves around Faith and Finn who come from different world yet both have painful lives. Faith beautiful angel, the innocent, over-protected, church girl and Finn gorgeous, ruff, tattooed, rock band singer. Finn lived in many foster homes until his was finally adopted only to lose his adopted father and have his adopted mother become ill with MS. Faith was raised by her church loving parents and extended church family but her life was far from ideal. The two meet when Finn has to serve community series for spray painting the church ( which he was innocent of doing) and then again when Faith's best friend talks her into sneaking out one night. Tabatha Vargo weaves this incredible love story of the two becoming friends and then lovers only to have the odds again them. Tabatha Vargo has this way of emerging you into the story, I felt all of Faith and Finn’s emotions their love for each, their pain, their heart ache. Many times I had tears in my eyes or my heart would skip I beat. I wait with baited breath for the next book in the Glow Hole Boys.

I love my Blow Hole Boys. This book started out even before they were a group. It took you back to when Finn met Faith and it was a fantastic read. You know the other shoe is going to drop because if you've read the previous books you know Finn is not with Faith. I loved the epilogue. I wish I could figure out the timing on all these epilogue's but they are still so very very good. I hope at the end of this series we get a little novella or something tying all the epilogues together. That would be so very cool. You don't have to read Perfecting Patience to read this story but it is kind of nice to know a little bit of what is going on.

Why make it short? But then, i love it too but i want more! Lol

4.5 Star Review Really loved getting Finn and Faith's story. I loved getting the early part about how they fell for each other. Then my heart broke as the story moved on. Everything about the story was perfect except for the resolution. It just seemed like the ending was rushed and we didn't get enough of them resolving their issues and moving on from there. The epilogue did give us some insight as to what happens with them but I really wanted more from the ending which is the reason for the half 4.5 Star Review Really loved getting Finn and Faith's story. It started okay, it got really interesting on the 2nd half of the story. I'm soooooo thankful that they left her abusive father! I like the story a lot, but like I said, the first half is just so-so, so no stars for the 1st half! It started okay, it got really interesting on the 2nd half of the story. I loved this book! It was a slow build-up and then it just didn't seem like enough time before there was an epilogue. I just needed more Finn and Faith without angst. I loved this book! Finn sets out to hurt Faith as much as he can. I didn't like this Finn. He became cold and hateful. Instead of trying to figure out what happened he went on the defensive and became somewhat abusive. Not intentionally but he was lashing out from past pain. I just didn't like the characters Finn and Faith became afterwards. Hopefully you will see some kind of growth in other books.

Awww. Finn is so cute. Dual POV. A couple of steamy scenes but could have used more. Finn proves to be an adorable book boyfriend by trying to change his ways so that he deserves his super religious girlfriend Faith. I’m not sure of the timeline with regards to book 1.5 as Zeke is never hurt in this book and they don’t mention him being replaced for a while. My only critiques are with regards to spelling/grammar and the fact that the book ended very quickly. I felt like a couple of chapters were Awww. Finn is so cute. Dual POV. 5/5 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ OH BOY OH BOY. This book literally made me cry. I loved every chapter, I don’t know if its the fact that it was about a church girl, and I’m a church girl. I mean, I’m not as prude as she was, but she was so freaking innocent and I loved her, and felt so bad when everything was going the wrong way. I loved how sweet and thoughtful Finn was with her, like they were really in loved, and the FATHER AGHHHHHHH, don’t even get me started he was so nasty and mean. Horrible. Finding Faith is the second full length novel in the Blow Hole Boys series by Tabatha Vargo. Again, another solid book that had me from beginning to end. Loved the second chance romance feel to this book. The characters were spot on with depth, emotion and lots of chemistry. Can't wait to read the next book in this series!!!
