I wanted to like this because the idea seemed cute, but the execution left a bit to be desired. The rhymes felt rather forced sometimes but the illustrations were cute and well done. The other thing that concerned me was that the author never actually tells us what sort of animal Snout is, which was odd since every other animal is identified. Overall, the expectation was better than the delivery.
