You’re fuckin’ mine, Kitkat.” Ream Overwhelmed by you is definitely a perfect title for this book. I was extremely overwhelmed by the time I ended this book in a good way of course. I still feel like my chest hurts and trying to wrap my mind to what I read. The thing is Nashoda’s writing will do that to you. She will get you all excited and when you least expected BOOM shit gets real and your heart starts to sink. Then she wraps everything up so nicely. When I was done, I was stunned by how amazing this story was. We met Ream and Kat on book one. Ream was a lead guitarist in a rock band "Tear Asunder" and Kat was Emily’s best friend. Ream doesn’t date, he is not interested on long relationships. However, two weeks of bonding as friends with Kat and couple of nights having wild sex with her made him change his mind about dating. When he found Kat was ill with a diseased called MS. He freaked out and walked out on her. Kat was Sassy and strong, she wore a mask of strength because she didn’t want anyone to know about her MS, she didn’t want anyone’s pity. She was an artist who lives at the Ranch Logan bought for Emily. They they keep horses that Emily rescues there. She helps with the horses and she paints them. When she hooked up with Ream she didn’t mean to tell him about her MS, he accidently found out about it and he walked out on her. She decided that she will never give second chances and didn’t need that bad ass rock star in her life anyway. To her it was just “sex” to get the tension out of her system, at least that’s what she thought. She still felt something for him even after not seen him for two years and eight months. When they did saw each other all they did was just fight and argue with each other all the time. The band comes back from their eight months tour and she realized Ream was her poison, she was about to see him again and she didn’t know what to do. No matter what she did, she couldn’t get him off of her system. She started dating another guy just to forget about him but that didn’t seem to help. When Ream comes back he realized he fucked up by walking out on her after freaking out about her MS deceased. Ream had a dark past and he was having a hard time accepting Kat’s deceased because he was scared he was not good enough to help her and save her from it. He comes back determined to get her back and start again. But Kat has a hard time letting him in again. The fighting and sexual tension between these two was ridiculous I loved every minute of it. “I want us back. And I’ll take you any way I can have you. Even if it’s just friends, Kat. I’ll take it—for now of course. But the constant anger and pain we’re causing one another is destroying our beginning, and our beginning was something fuckin’ special…” Ream “I’ve never been the same.” My breath hitched. “What?”“After we were together. Something changed in me and I’m not going back. I like the change. And I miss the woman who gave it to me. I’m not talking just about the sex, Kat. It was before that…”Ream Kat finally gives in after Ream "kidnaps" her for few days and makes her understand how much she means to him. I was so excited it was super HOT. Ream was so primal and freaking possessive I loved it. Their sex was so HOT, I mean freaking hotness. ”When Ream kissed me, he took and I crumbled. Maybe that was part of the issue. With Ream I felt like I lost my strength. I became his…” Kat ”He pushed into me hard, then slowly withdrew, and then shoved inside me again. Over and over until I panted and clenched at every part of him. He grabbed my thigh that I’d locked around his waist, fingers bruising my flesh as he thrust harder, faster, deeper…” Kat They go back to the ranch where Kat lives and everyone is happy that the fighting has finally stopped and they are getting their shit together to be with each other. Nothing ever last thought because right after that shit goes crazy. Kat finds Ream cheating on her and I was freaking angry, madly upset. After all he did to get her back, what the fuck??? But then his past comes back and it was dark….OMG so dark I never saw it coming. I knew something bad happened to him but never could I have ever imagine how bad and how broken he was. I was speechless and I wanted to smash shit. My anxiety levels where up in the sky. Kat was abducted by some people from Ream’s past. There was a bitch that was obsessed with Ream and was going to take him no matter what. Ream chose to go to her in exchange for Kat’s safety. I couldn't believe what happens next, holy shit it was crazy. That crazy woman deserved what she got but gawd I was freaking out the entire time for my poor Ream, like seriously what was wrong with this bitch?! So yeah, what happened was awesome lol. When they finally got away and back to safety the Ranch of course I was finally able to breathe and was so happy how this ended. The ending was just perfect and I couldn't help wanting more of this author. If you haven’t read this series, I extremely recommend it. You need to meet all the members of the Rock Band “Tear Asunder”. BOOK SERIES ORDER: I can’t freaking wait for more of these boys. ”I was his. He was a little screwed up, but so was I, and he was mine. Ream had been mine since the beginning, and it took us getting back to our beginning to find our way back to that…”Kat ”Our fingers interlocked—just like we were. Like we’d always be. The broken lock with the damaged key now fit together. We’d opened one another up, and it was beautiful…” Kat "ARC kindly provided by Author, in exchange for an honest review. From that point on they only had nasty things to say to one another despite the intense feelings they still had for each other. I had a low opinion of Ream at the end of the first book despite how hot he was. He showed up with a girl the day Kat came home from the hospital after having been shot. Needless to say, this book is about second chances, things not always appearing the way they seem and two broken individuals finding strength in each other. Just loved, loved, loved Kat and Ream. While I didn't find this one as shocking as Emily and Logan’s story, it’s still dark, disturbing and shows us a slice of the dregs of society. Ream and Kat are hot, hot, hot together... and sweet and tender,... they are also so vulnerable and damaged. Letting secrets and demons build walls between them and ways for others to tear them apart. Ms. Rose is gifted at weaving a dark and spellbinding story of real, lovable and broken characters that have to fight the darkness to find their HEA. I highly recommend this series and this book! I'm onto Crisis' story!! For more reviews and blog posts.

4--Overwhelming--Stars!! Anyone else think this was going to be your typical every day romance?? You know where the guy and the girl hook up, break up and one of them spends the rest of the book denying their feelings for the other one. Only to finally get their shit together in the end and get back together? Anyone? Don't get me wrong....all of that happened plus a whole lot of crazy! That last 30%...damn, I'm exhausted. It all happened so fast, I'm not even sure it made sense. So Overwhelmed is K 4--Overwhelming--Stars!! Anyone else think this was going to be your typical every day romance?? It all happened so fast, I'm not even sure it made sense. So Overwhelmed is Kat and Ream's story who we met in Torn. And let's face it, Ream... ...but color me shocked, I liked Ream. A lot. He was possessive, bossy and protective. Kat was sassy and mouthy.....and it was annoying at times, especially in the beginning. Kat and Ream get close during the time that Emily was missing (from Torn). They become friends and then hook-up. Ream's past was dark and ugly and dirty and it affected his relationships. He didn't like to be touched and sex was just an act for him. He didn't enjoy it. Until Kat. "What I feel isn't normal, Kat, It's fucked up because I'm fucked up." Assumptions and accusations tear Ream and Kat apart before they even have a chance to see what was going on between them. Okay, I could have sworn that Kat's big secret from Torn was that (view spoiler)[ she was pregnant (hide spoiler)] !! And her big secret was NOT what I was expecting. Fastforward 2.5+ years and Ream and the band are returning from spending the last eight months on tour. Ream's had a lot of time to think about what happened between him and Kat. Ream wants Kat back and he'll stop at nothing to get her. Kat not so much.. "I had no time in my life for mending anything, and second chances didn't exist in my books." But Ream...well he's persistant. He doesn't take no for an answer and eventually Ream breaks down Kat's walls and she lets him in. Things take a turn for the crazy around the 70% mark so I thought the last 30% was a bit OTT and some of it didn't add up for me. Like (view spoiler)[how did Ream not recognize that Molly was Alexa (hide spoiler)] ?? IDK, it was just so much I was kind of overwhelmed! ;) Ream is forced to confront his past. Revelations that may tear Kat and Ream apart. Secrets are revealed.....truths become lies....and Kat and Ream have to fight for themselves and for each other. "Second chances are for when you're done with the first. I wasn't done. I'll never be done. I don't need second chances, beautiful. Not with you. You're my first chance. And fuck if I love my first chance." Overall, I enjoyed this installment of the Tear Asunder series. It was entertaining, if not a bit OTT. I liked both Kat and Ream. Not to mention the other band members. So, I'll definitely be continuing on with this series! ARC kindly provided by the author via NetGalley in exchange for an honest review

STARS For a few weeks Kat & Ream had something good, something better than good. A friendship, flirtation and eventually one amazing night. But that's were the good ended... and it all turned to shit. Unable to remain in the same room together without hurting each other, things aren't expected to change after he returns from the band's tour, but they do... slowly. But that's were the good ended... and it all turned to shit. Unable to remain in the same room together without hurting each other, things aren't expected to change after he returns from the band's tour, but they do... slowly. "I mean it, Kat. Friend, girlfriend, or my fuckin' wife. I don't want you walking away from me when some other chick is vying for my attention because no matter what we are ... you are more important than them." For Ream sex was never something that held beauty, it was ugly. It was purely a release and a way to gain control, until her. He wants that, he wants her back. But for Kat, second chances don't exist. In one moment months ago, Ream proved what she feared most. She can't listen to his excuses and apologies but she can't seem to escape the way her heart races when he looks at her. "You make everything ugly inside of me beautiful, Kat." Ream had already failed Kat once, leaving her when she needed him most. A mistake he isn't going to make again. When events occur that give Ream a chance to make up for his mistake, he's not going to let his past mess it up again. Getting her to see that he isn't going to back down until she's his proves to be a much harder task then he expected. But just as Kat comes around, his past returns ready to ruin everything. I was dying to find out what had happened between Kat & Ream at the end of TFY to cause such animosity between these two - my mind was a mess of conspiracies and crazy story plots - getting to the truth was something that I was dying to do. I had no idea that I was going to get such a broken boy out of Ream. God, do I love them damaged. Ream is the poster boy for fucked up and I loved every second of it. Nashoda took us to a dark place with Logan's story and even though Ream is not rainbows and sunshine - we don't get that kind of dark romance with Kat & Ream. I love the spin that she took with this story - 100% unexpected. Then throw in the mix of the rest of the gang who were able to shine a little brighter and who we get to know a little more about... and then my ultimate... Deck. Fuck me, that boy is mine. I love the way Nashoda writes her stories. The men are complete alphalicious and her heroines are a bit on the insecure, stubborn side - but not so much that you don't love them. The ending of this story gives us the perfect start to Crisis's story for the third in the Tear Asunder series, but first we get to dive into Perfect Chaos, with Deck & Georgie's story as the Unyielding series kicks off. Deck briefly makes an appearance in OBY and it just made me love him even more. That man stole my heart in an instant and although each of these guys rank among my favorites, there is just something about him that stuck with me from the start. When I stumbled across this author I fell instantly for the blurb of her book and was equally blown away by the story she told. I expected nothing less than loving this book when I started it. It was more than I could have asked for. If you have not yet read this series - fix it, like right now. Logan was perfect, Ream was amazing and Crisis & Kai are bound to be fanfuckingtastic. In one series you get so much, not just a rock band that is filled with eye-candy, but dark and broken romances that fully grab your attention from page one only to leave you wanting more.

Ream and Kat shared something special, friends who shared a night to remember, only for Ream to mess it up and run away. Two years, eight months later he's back in her world; the band is staying at the farm house while they record their newest album and while Ream seems like a changed man, Kat has moved on to someone safer and nice. All he needs to do is remind her just how good it is between them... "You don't like nice, Kat. Doesn't do anything for that sassy attitude of yours. You'll be bored with his nice, but try....and know when his nice doesn't do anything for you ... I'll be waiting." He lowered his voice, "But, baby, I know what makes you wet and it isn't nice." Once the trust is ruined it's hard to get back, it needs to be earned again, but to earn it Ream must break down the wall and go back in time, to the dark place he never wanted to go again, but for Kat, he'd do anything for her even face his demons. Bidding his time and showing her they are more than just sex and lust, reminding her of where they began and where they need to go. "Second chances are for when you're done with the first. I wasn't done. I'll never be done. I don't need second chances, beautiful. Not with you. You're my first chance. And fuck if I love my first chance." There is a darkness in Ream one he hides well, but Kat shines bright enough to pull him out and make him want to be a better man. As tough and sassy as Kat is, he sees right through her, knowing the things she doesn't want people to see or know. He's in it for the long haul and nothing, absolutely nothing will stand in his way. He will protect her, support her and stand by her side no matter what. Whatever damaged key he used, Ream was already inside me and it fit. We fit. Overwhelmed By You was a perfect read for me, a tortured sweet alpha hero who loved with all that he was and a sassy heroine that loved him too much that she scared herself. But with Ream, there was no way she could have stayed away too long, he was thoughtful and protective, adventurous and caring, loving and playful...he was everything she needed and more. I fell head over heels for him, I wanted to wrap him up in a hug and never let go. His past is crazy and all sorts messed up, and for him to be the man he is today, amazing! This is more than just a love story, there are a lot of dark triggers and topics in here that many might not enjoy reading about. Although Ream is the lead guitarist, the whole rock star lifestyle took a back seat, similar to the first, there are other more pressing elements that need to be told. Truly enjoyed this sultry-sweet-twisted read, I can't believe I put it off for so long, but what matters is I read it and I loved it. I can't wait for what else is in store, because there was an equally juicy story in the works throughout this read. ★★★★ 4 'Overwhelming' Stars! "We detonate the second we touch." "Yeah, in flames." "No, into shrapnel." From the moment I met Kat and Ream in the first book of the series, I've been interested and highly anticipating their story. They seemed to have so much history already and I couldn't quite figure out what happened that would cause so much tension between them. The first book in this series, Torn from You, was one of my favorite "darker" reads of last year and once again Nashoda Rose delivers ★★★★ 4 'Overwhelming' Stars! The first book in this series, Torn from You, was one of my favorite "darker" reads of last year and once again Nashoda Rose delivers a captivating, heart wrenching and unputdownable read that kept me on the edge of my seat until the final page. **WARNING: Review contains SPOILERS for those who haven't read book 1 in the series yet!!** At the beginning of the story Kat and Ream have been living at the farm for about two weeks and they've just started to become a bit more than "just friends". But, Ream doesn't do relationships and he makes it painfully obvious to Kat that, despite his inner feelings for her, there's never going to be more between them. They get into a fight and shortly after Ream leaves on tour with his band, Tear Asunder. Now, approx. two years later, Ream's back for good and he's again staying at the ranch. Obviously, this causes a lot of trouble (and sexual tension!) between him and Kat. They still have unfinished business. They both said hurtful things to each other and Ream is determined to fix things and find out if there's really a possibility of a future between them. Kat is the first woman that makes him feel anything in the first place. She's the first one that can make him forget the painful memories of his sordid past. "You make everything ugly inside me beautiful, Kat." Even though Kat tries to fight it, she too, feels something more for Ream and after a while she decides to give them another shot. In the meantime, their witty banter sure made for some entertaining conversations and steamy scenes. And just when I thought things were going to be okay, something else happened that threw all my expectations out the window. The final 25% of the story were the most action-filled and suspenseful and they made it seem like nothing was ever going to be alright again. Ream's past is so much more complicated than I thought and finding out all the details really made me feel so sorry for him. They showed just how strong he really was for having overcome those events and for having found the power to move on with his life. "Second chances are for when you're done with the first. I wasn't done. I'll never be done. I don't need a second chance, beautiful. Not with you. You're my first chance." Overall, I really enjoyed reading Kat and Ream's crazy beautiful story. At the beginning of the book I wasn't that big a fan of Kat and Ream seemed like just another rock star man-whore, but I couldn't have been more wrong about them. They both made so much progress throughout the story and despite their own personal demons they complimented each other perfectly. It was fun catching up with Sculpt and Emily and all the other side characters and I'm already looking forward to the next part of this series! "Baby, you're the safest place I've ever been. You're the only place I'll ever belong. And you belong with me." **ARC courtesy of the author, via Netgalley, in exchange for an honest review**

The absolute second I read about Ream in Torn from You, I knew I had to get my hands on his book him immediately. I mean the guy was a royal dick. An asshole. An utter and complete asshole. Which only meant that I feel for him that much harder. Yes, the more of an asshole they are, the more they make my pervy little heart go all pitter patter. It's a condition. We've been over this. I've accepted it. Let's move on. Although this could be read as a standalone, I highly recommend reading the first book in the series as it will help paint a stronger picture of the couple. I was hoping that this would pick up somewhere in the middle of what happened in the last book, simply because I would have loved to have Ream's POV on some of the things that took place. But this picks up a few months after the events of the last book, and gives a few flashbacks. I loved the way that Nashoda started off each chapter with a cryptic flashback teaser. I knew from the very first paragraph that Ream's story and history would not be an easy one, a light one, or a pretty one. Behind the asshole veneer lay the damaged soul of a man that has had to experience some horrific things. But you don't get to find out EXACTLY what they are. The flashbacks in each chapter help build a very vivid picture, however. My poor Ream, constantly trapped within his memories, unable to shut out the voices from his past. My heart absolutely broke for him. If you've read the first book then you know that Ream does something to Kat at the end of it that manages to finally break her tough girl act. It was devastating and left you wondering if you could ever forgive him. Now over 2 years later, Ream finally gets his shit together and goes after Kat with the determination of a bull. But Kat is having none of it. Prepare yourself for angst galore. I'm not going to lie, I spent large chunks of the book wanting to throttle Kate for being as stubborn and flat out mean to Ream as she was at times. Though considering their past, I somewhat understood her hesitation. Doesn't mean her immaturity at certain points didn't drive me batty. I was also very impressed with the twist that Nashoda threw in with Kat's secret. It was not the typical explanation that you normally read about, and I commend the author for taking such a different route. Though Kat puts up a good fight for a while, Ream manages to break through her resistance eventually. I mean who can resist a sexy as hell, possessive, intensely jealous rock star for long? And when his sweet side comes out? Forget about it! I wasn't expecting for things to be smooth sailing, not at all. I knew that when the entirety of Ream's past would come to light, it was going to be ugly. And holy mother of all crap to hit the fan! That last 30%?! WHOA! I thought I knew what was coming, but hell fucking no! I think I spend the majority of it reading like this Damn. Although Overwhelmed by You didn't manage to blow me away as much as Torn from You did, I still enjoyed it immensely. Sometime you find an author whose writing you just click with, and I think that's the case for me here. I can't get enough of the Tear Asunder boys, and can't wait for the flirty Crisis to be finally brought to his knees next. Though I'm absolutely salivating for Deck's story...especially with that teaser at the end. When Ream and Kat end up spending time together something just clicks between them. A simple friendship begins but ends with the two of them sharing a few days of some pretty hot sex. I don’t think either expects the connection they made but Ream was ready to roll with what was going on between them. That is until he finds something that belongs to Kat which ends up being a deal breaker for him. He doesn’t give Kat a chance to explain and just walks away leaving Kat hurt and angry. Ream ~ There is something about Ream that just pulls you in. He is a tattooed bad boy and sexy as hell. He desperately needs to have control when it comes to most aspects in his life. Most importantly with the women he gets involved. Sex for Ream was just that..sex. That is until Kat. With her things felt different. They felt good. Kat ~ Kat was an open book for the most part. What you saw is what you got. She was fun, sexy and gave as good as she got. But there was a part of herself that she didn’t share with many. She shared that piece of herself with Ream and all she got was disappointment. ❤ ❤ ❤ ❤ ❤ ❤ ❤ ❤ ❤ While Ream is out touring with the band for a couple of years Kat moves on with her life. She continues with the horses on the farm, painting and starts seeing someone. Lance is safe and nice. Kat never did “nice” but after what happened with Ream she wasn’t going to go down that road again. But when Ream returns he has changed. Kat’s not sure exactly what it is but something is different. And part of that something is that he wants Kat back. He needs her. From where Kat is standing though, this isn’t going to happen. She wasn’t going to allow him to hurt her again. This doesn’t stop him. He will do whatever he needs to make her his. Ream is relentless. He uses everything he has to make Kat see that she still wants him just as much. Kat doesn’t give in easily. But things begin to surface that has her second guessing who Ream really is. Ream’s past has damaged him. Throughout the story we get flashbacks of sorts that start to shed light of what he went through but we are left trying to piece things together. These two go through quite a bit. They begin to mend each other hearts and Ream had hope that he and Kat could be together. But when you hit about 70% or so things implode and things fall apart. Ream’s past threatens to end everything that he had with Kat. Nashoda Rose takes you on quite the ride with these two. I knew Ream was broken and damaged but I never imagine how much. Even though Ream was difficult at times he stole my heart. Kat gave me moments of frustration but I loved her anyways. Of course getting a little more of Emily and Logan was great too. And who doesn’t love Crisis. He is that lovable annoying friend. We also get Georgie and her off the wall behavior. Some of the stuff that comes out of her mouth had me shaking my head. And I can’t forget Deck. Hmmm there is just something about him. I’m looking forward the next book when we get Crisis and Haven’s story. That is going to be good!

I can snuggle up with one of her books and be completely satisfied from the time I start the read to days after I have completed it. We met the two main characters in the first book Torn from You. Kat is Emily’s best friend. She is a strong woman who creates art for a living and lives on a horse ranch. Ream is the lead guitarist in the Torn Assunder band. He and Kat bonded around the same time that Emily was abducted and rescued. (If you haven’t read the first book then you need to stop reading this review and check it out now!) Kat and Ream have something special when a misunderstanding causes Ream to run far way. When he comes back to try and reclaim Kat, she has become hard and refuses to let him back in. "A second chance was something I didn’t give people because life was too short to waste it with a guy that got scared."-Kat Two years and eight months later Ream and the band are returning to the ranch. As Kat braces for impact, Ream has a grand plan to win her back. “Stop. You’re not going with anyone except me.” “Hell no,” I said, shaking my head. “That tugboat chugged its way into the Amazon and was dragged under by a python two days ago.” The sexual chemistry between these two is off the charts. Ream has recognized that he needs to show Kat that there is more between them then hot sex. Kat struggles with Ream's "rock god" status. He is drowning in girls and even though the only girl he wants is her she struggles with insecurity. “Don’t walk away from me.” I went to smart mouth him back, but he was quick, cupping my chin and placing a finger over my mouth. “I mean it, Kat. Friend, girlfriend, or my wife. I don’t want you walking away from me when some other chick is vying for my attention because no matter what we are … you are more important than them.”-Ream It takes Ream a long time to prove to Kat he can be exactly what she needs. "If you only knew … Babe, you’re ruining me by not being with me.” The tension and chase between these two is intense and yet maintains a comfortable pace for the reader. I felt that Ream and Kat were both individually unique with their inner struggles and the conflict between the two certainly kept things interesting. Ream is stubborn about proving to Kat that he is in it for the long haul. Kat and Ream both have secrets. It is trust that takes time to build between the two. Just when you think things are shaping out nicely for the happy couple, something causes the relationship to be ripped apart. Kat and Ream must find their way back to each other. Towards the end of the book things were a bit over the top and yet I happily enjoyed the ride. As things began to intensify, I was so invested in the characters and their relationship, it just didn't matter. “That’s us. And I love us. You push me and make me face what I hide from. I trust you to give me that because it’s what I need. Baby, I love you for you. And I love who I am with you.” Overall, I highly recommend this book to anyone who likes a damaged bad boy and a strong and sassy heroine. The writing is action packed, full of tenderness, and all of the character play an integral part in the overall story. The passion is high and in true Nashoda Rose fashion every emotion is felt deep. I look forward to the next book in the series.

“You make everything ugly inside me beautiful, Kat.” Kat and Ream are introduced in the first book, they spend sometime together - friendship builds and then things heat up. But when Ream discovers Kat's secret, he walks away. 2+ years later, Ream regrets leaving Kat, and with the tour over and the band back at the farm - he decides to make her his. But Kat isn't a fan of second chances, so she doesn't make it easy on him. "Second chances are for when you’re done with the first. While Ream is trying to claim his girl, his secret past is catching up with him. With Kat in danger, Ream is determined to keep her safe. Kat and Ream's story didn't really live up to my expectations, in the end it was just too ott - I felt pretty overwhelmed, there were just too many things going on. So, this was an okay read for me - it's well written and had shocking twists, but I didn't love it. *ARC kindly provided by NetGalley in exchange for an honest review*

Really guys, i thought that this book would be more light that the first one... Everything in the beginning was more easy... but while i read the story, i realized that this one was double fucked- up from the first one... I almost lost my mind in some point... My heart was aching for Kat and Ream. Especially for Ream... How could that be even possible??? Logan's and Emily's story was so hard, how could be exist a worst story??? But yes, there was... And the most crazy thing is that i'm pretty sure that the next book will be worst than that... So... triple fucked-up... Should i'll start worrying for Kite's turn??? What else could it happen??? Ugh??? First of all, i have to say for once again that i don't like very much the dark abusing book full of angst and emotional wrecking... But this series became one of my favorites!!! Unbelievable, right??? Yeah, i know!!! But these certain stories are so well-written and full of unexpected turns that made me read them like a madman... I just couldn't put the book down!!! I love all the characters... I love the women and i love more the men... All the "Tear Assunder" men are fantastic and their pasts are messed up, but this particular fact makes them irresistible and Ream wasn't the exception. I love that guy!!! But enough with that, i have to tell you some things about the plot... This story followed Ream, the lead guitarist from "Tear Assunder" and Kat, Emily's best friend. When Emily and Logan disappeared to Mexico, Kat and Ream came closer since they had to prepare the farm for their friends return. They were having a really great time together and they became friends but soon they ended up to bed and the chemistry between them was magnificent. But the intensity between them and a secret that kept Kat scared Ream and made him walk away from her. After two years from that incident, Kat and Ream met each other again but the sexual frustration made them to react very bad to each other. Eight more months have passed and the band together with Emily returned home after a big tour. Kat can't wait to see again Emily and the guys, but Ream's return made her nervous. Even though all this time that had pass she wasn't over him yet, but she refused so badly to embrace her feelings. He hurt her badly back then and Kat never gives a second chance to anybody. I liked Kat. She was a very strong and independent woman who doesn't take bullshits. She was an artist and she was dating a nice guy. But nice is good enough??? Her life was very hard. When she was still very young she lost her parents and she had a secret that scared the hell out of her in case if anyone finds out about it!!! She is a very brave woman and very determined. Her only weakness is Ream. Ream had a fucked up life who scared his future forever. Once he had a twin sister that he couldn't protect her as much as he tried. Sex for him is just a natural need and women doesn't worth his time. But everything changed when Kat step in his life and brought her upside down. Yeah, he was scared in the beginning, but after all this time he was returning back and he was determined to win her heart for once again, forever this time. But Kat is so stuborn... But he is stuborn too, so you do understand what's the deal here... At the beginning, i was hungry for those two to be together. The fire between them was eating everything alive. They were having a long road to walk for being together, but when that happened everything were right and beautiful. Except only from the fact that Ream refused to share his past with Kat and that destroyed them for second time... It broke my heart his past when it finally revealed to me. My poor Ream, what was all this shit in your life??? He was suffering so much!!! Oh, God!!! I couldn't stand it in some point... And that was not the only hurtfull thing... People from his past returned and made both Ream's and Kat's life miserable... For once again, we had destruction, abuse and real pain... This time my heart was in bigger pain that the first time... Those fuckers... i wanted so badly to kill them for what they did to them!!! And i'm glad for the end... I'm glad that Ream finally manage to break free from his past and to live in a beautiful future... And i liked the way that Kat fought for him... That was so brave of her and full of true love... God, i love this couple... No, i love them all, but right now i love this particular couple!!! And now, i'm wondering how much i will be hurt in Crisis and Haven's story... And imagine that Crisis is the most hillarious guy and Haven the most fucked up girl from everyone in these books... Oh, God, give me strength!!! Oh, i forgot!!! I want to tell something to Deck... He is the one who knows exactly what to say and to whom... and he saves nearly all the ugly situations... I can't wait to read your book, man!!!

I'm on the fence on this one. I am interested in Kat and Ream's story but I am not sure I can handle a long drawn out story where one character is kind of crazy. Here are my questions... 1.) What happened to Kat? Some ideas - > (view spoiler)[Pregnant and abort the baby? Maybe got pregnant with Ream's baby? Was she raped? (hide spoiler)] 2.) Why did Ream (view spoiler)[leave Kat at the hospital? He just left her? I mean, he didn't need to confess his undying love, but sheesh, visit the damn girl. ( I'm on the fence on this one. I want Kat's past to be so messed you, are you like "awwww, poor girl". 2.) There has to be a good reason why Ream is acting the way he's acting, I also want him to be like Logan, all crazy, in love with Kat. What I don't want to see is Kat pushing Ream away and being crazy and fustrating. Yes, I want tension, but I don't want to slap her. More kink and more steam (just being honest). That's my two cents.

And boy, was he sweet *swoon* Kat and Ream both have secrets..like MASSIVE secrets. Before it all went bad,Kat and Ream were friends. Two weeks of worry over Logan and Emily got them closer and they form an easy relationship. One thing leads to the other and they end up in bed. Two nights of amazing sex and Kat knows with all her heart Ream will change her world. Until she blurts out her secret... and he RUNS! Yes, he runs...leaving her humiliated, weak and devastated. Unable to believe she trusted her instincts with Ream, Kat makes it her aim to completely ignore Ream and move on with her life. With the secret she holds(which we only find out around 40% of the book) she needs someone safe and dependable. Not someone who easily runs. That is until Ream decides Kat is the one woman who can change his world. He makes a complete 360 and starts pursuing her relentlessly. He shows his sweeter side and i loved it that he sort-of grovelled. Kat kept pushing, although it seemed annoying, i understood her hesitance. On a side note, 'm beginning to understand this author and her heroes. I have read MANY books by her and i know her heroes are irritatingly possessive, bad tempered and can't take No as an answer. I'm not a total fan of super alpha dominant possessive jerks so i had a hard time accepting some of his actions. But ultimately, he was very protective of Kat and only thought the world revolved around her. Until the last 30% of the book....when Ream's secret is revealed. Holy hell! That secret gave me whiplash and broke my heart. I just could not believe the turn the book suddenly took. It was so darn sad then unbelievably scary. It ended well, but my heart broke for Ream. I am actually more interested in Deck and Georgia's story but the next two books in the series are about Crisis and then Kite. I might actually wait this out till Deck's story (Perfect Chaos). Overall, a good read and i highly recommend the first two books in this series.

The second novel in the Tear Asunder series did not disappoint...not at all... I just loved Kat from the previous novel, Torn from You and reading her story has only made me love her more. She is and wants to be independent and keep her secret hidden from everyone else but deep down she needs someone she can lean on. I'm not going to give any spoilers because it's not worth it and her personal story it's what makes this book so awesome. Ream's story is so fucked up I don't know where to begin. He has had only suffering and loss in his life and when Kat threatens his control by making him feel something different for a change he does what any man with attachment issues would do...he runs... After realizing the mistakes he has made he's sorry and wants her back but (like a true man) let's his pride do the thinking for him. It takes Ream a few years to pull his head out of his ass and go after Kat but by then it's to late and she's already moved on... But Ream doesn't take no for and answer and he's determined to make Kat his and never let her go... Their story is wonderful, very beautifully written and it really got to my heart...no flowers and bullshit...just their reality. I also liked the fact that the author was not afraid to create characters that had such real issues that affect so many people around the world no matter what country you are from or what language you speak. I know I'm not making any sense but I really don't want to give away any spoilers because the unknown is what makes this novel truly and utterly beautiful :D I could go on and on about this book but there is no point cause only by reading it and living it one can do it justice. For the full impact of this book I recommend reading the first novel in this series before starting this one because Kat and Ream's story begins there.

I just cannot enjoy a romance based on "one of the main romantic lead characters sleeping with other people....That's not love, but an excuse to shit on the love of your life! I mean she did it AFTER 2 DAYS OF BEING WITH THE HERO? From what he said he never slept with anyone during their separation, so it made it even worse....2 days is unbelievable! if you really love someone, you would not just sleep with a random guy 2 days after a fight you had with your significant other. Honestly, our hearts feel like they’ve run a marathon then gone through a spin cycle followed by a pummelling through the words penned by the brilliant Nashoda Rose. It was almost too much….but not quite. Kat and Ream were bloody brilliant characters which we knew already they were going to be. Both have experienced and are experiencing such heart ache and trauma that left us thinking enough is enough please, just give them the happiness and peace they so truly deserve. Let them learn to love and be loved in return. Both made us cry in equal measure but Ream; gorgeous – sexy bad arse – loving – fucked up Ream. Our hearts…..seriously his pain was overwhelming. And his heart; his heart is so big! This man both broke and stole ours. What a hero; Nashoda sure knows how to write them! “I can breathe easily with you…When we were apart…You ever feel like your body is silently screaming?” Again, we’ve said this before and we’ll say it again; we LOVE this Author’s vivid and flawless writing. The emotion is intense; the darkness eerily shrouds you as you read and unravel a past so haunting and emotionally devastating it takes a pretty strong person to break through this wall of hurt and pain. “Fire playing with fire only leads to an uncontrollable inferno. You ready for that, Kitkat?” Kat is sweet, strong and very loving. She’s got a great head on her shoulders yet suffers in silence. We fell in love with her even more and never faltered as her character strength and vulnerability was spot. In all the drama and darkness her and Ream realised that in order to trust and build on your love truth and revelations play the most important part. Ream and Kat’s journey individually and their relationship wasn’t easy nor was it pretty. It was gritty and raw with violence and terror. It was intensely emotional. “If I tell you I might lose you.” “You’ll lose me if you don’t.” It was brilliant to catch up with the characters again and to get snippets of what’s to come from Deck and Georgie’s story. Deck when he appears steals the show so how can we not move straight on to Perfect Chaos next. This group of friends have fantastic banter and a bond so strong. You feel like you’re a part of this group friends and you want and need them to be happy and safe. “I belong with you. I belong to you. (view spoiler)[Kat's big secret is that she has MS... and the needle that Ream initially thought was drugs, was actually her medication she takes daily. Now please help me out here. When did Ream actually find out that she had MS and wasn't a druggie? I seem to have completely blocked that out. Because really, I didn't know that she wasn't doing drugs either until she talked about it with Matt and Ream after Ream comes back from tour. And it seemed as though it was common knowledge that Ream knew this even though it had been 2 and a half years since the syringe/Matt at the bar situation. I didn't have any clues, and it just seemed to come out of nowhere. Was I supposed to know she had MS or was that the big revelation? (hide spoiler)] My confusion on that is really where the rating comes from. I was so busy questioning what was happening that I didn't really get back into the story for a bit.

4.5 stars I really like Ream and Kat in previous book. With him being a brooding guitarist And her being strong and sassy I like both of their background/past story. I was especially taken by Ream’s past. It was heartbreaking. And Kat’s sassiness was just a façade to cover up her fears. The overall story was good. Some parts were predictable but it moved at a good pace and didn’t felt contrived. 4.5 stars I really like Ream and Kat in previous book. 5 Broken Bad Boy Stars! This book kept me engrossed and turning pages every chance I could get. When I wasn't able to read, I was constantly thinking about this story. This is the second book in the Tear Asunder series by Nashoda Rose and the story of Ream and Kat. It's been a while since I read the first book, but I do remember Ream and Kat fighting. In this book we find out why. Kat is at her home on the ranch and has been painting the horses. Her best friend Emily is away with Logan and the rest of the boys of the band Tear Asunder. But they are about to return and that means she's going to have to face Ream. Kay's plan is to ignore him. She's even started dating Lance, but she's really using him as more of a distraction to not think about Ream. She explains him to Emily as being "nice." "Nice? Kat, nice? You know what nice means." He lacks -- Need. Infatuation. Craving. Excitement." Thank goodness she doesn't stay with Lance long. Nice is okay, but Ream is so much better. Ream is sexy. Seductive. Exciting. X-rated. Yummy. Plus Ream has a different plan. He isn't going to be ignored. He plans to work things out between them, to make things right again. Kat isn't so sure she can trust him though. After all, he did walk away from her once. I loved their banter, the conversation about how well they go together. "Do orange juice and milk go together Ream? No. They can sit beside one another and look good together, but mix them up and it's complete anarchy. That's us." "Orange Creamsicles." "What?" "It's milk and orange and they go damn good together." Oh to be the milk in this man's Creamsicle. And she wants to, but she's just not ready to admit that yet. When he looks at her, she can't help but melt. But Ream is still a mystery to Kat. He has secrets too and he's not sharing, at least not everything. He does open up a bit and we find out more about why he ran in the first place. Ream decides that for them to get back to their friendship, he's going to take them away for a weekend. Only there's one rule. No sex. My first reaction along with Kat's was, "Really??" How can anyone spend a night much less a weekend in the same confined space with Ream and not have sex. Especially with all of the sexual tension they already share. Yeah, I wouldn't be able to and neither could Kat. The sex was off the charts HOT between these two. I love broken bad boys and Ream was that, but so much more. I could go on and on about this story because there's still so much more to it, but I don't want to give anything away. I have to say my jaw dropped a few times with the twists and turns that Nashoda Rose gave us. If you like a little bit of suspense and drama added to your romance books then I highly suggest this one. You HAVE to read this book. It's so good! Crisis provided some funny moments so there's some humor too. With the way this book ended, I can't wait to read his story next. SERIOUSLY, what are you waiting for?! Pick up this series and get to know the guys from Tear Asunder.

I went into reading this with certain expectations and I was not disappointed because the author managed to surpass my expectations. This book took a direction that surprised me as well as things being revealed that blew my theories away- Let me tell you I loved the unexpected! Ream was a bit of an asshole in the first book and while I actually like that in my hero, I don’t like one that calls the heroine names and hurts her on purpose- that’s what he seemed to do in Torn From You. When I started reading, I was preparing to do this to Ream But I ended up wanting to do this Ream is a complete mystery for most of the book, he kept his emotions and secrets deeply guarded. I thought I could hazard a guess as to what it is he’s hiding, however not all my theories were proven correct. Ream is a hero who is beyond broken! We start this novel with a determined Ream, vying to win the girl he wants and fighting for his first and real chance at love. “Second chances are for when you’re done with the first. I wasn’t done. I’ll never be done. I don’t need second chances, beautiful. Not with you. You’re my first chance.” Kat has her own secrets though they are not as dark as Ream’s but still painful to learn of. It wasn’t hard to admire Kat as a heroine, she was a strong lady though at the beginning she annoyed me with the stubborn act. When she finally lets Ream in, it’s perfection. “I belong with you. I belong to you. As Truths are unveiled, the story becomes more fast paced and towards the end we are hit with dark and shocking twists. It was awesome to see Logan and Emily again, as well as three supporting characters who made me smile big whenever they were mentioned or appeared, Georgie, Deck and Crisis. At the end of ‘Overwhelmed By You’, we see the potential for a love interest where Crisis is concerned and I CAN’T WAIT. I also am salivating at the fact that Deck will have his own novel, ‘Perfect Chaos’. Stellar writing, likeable characters, unexpected twists and turns with just the right amount of angst made for a very entertaining read that is ‘Overwhelmed By You’ ***ARC provided via NetGalley in exchange for an honest review***

5 “broken but mended” stars OMFG! This book really does its title justice… Ream and Kat’s story was a universe of its own – a soul shattering and heart breaking journey that does lead you to hope…and that is enough for them Never been more engaged with the characters’ fates as I was in this story – it started with… ”Anticipation was the tie to control.” then it introduced me to a brooding rock star… ”A darkness that lay hidden beneath the surface.” that was Ream Dedrick and yet he was inescapably and 5 “broken but mended” stars OMFG! I’m going to keep coming.” I’d cave, I’d give in to him and so did she… “I belong with you. I belong to you. And I love you.” This story does overwhelm you, it grips you and pulls you in deep, then it shatters you and then when you feel low and small, when your heart is aching for them both, but mostly cause of Ream’s “…fucked-up past; well, fucked-up didn’t even begin to describe it.” and after life shattering and gutting past that comes to haunt them back, they still hold the power to mend themselves and build themselves up towards HOPE… “You’re my safe, Kat.” “There’s nothing safe about me, Ream.” “Baby, you’re the safest place I’ve ever been. You’re the only place I’ll ever belong.” He kissed my neck. “And you belong with me.” One of the best reads I’ve read lately…and I guess I’ve been lucky cause I’ve been saying that line a lot. LOL the close connection those two broken but healed souls had can be said with only this…cause it holds so much more behind the words … “…there was something about interlocking fingers that was incredibly intimate.” And I couldn’t agree more…

This story is about Kat and Ream. Due to special circumstances (which concerned Emily and Logan from book 1) they had to spent 2 week together at a farm. So after 2 weeks of just being friends there was a lot of between them. And they needed to get rid of it so they decided for an one nighter.. which actually lasted 48 hours. Ream had a pretty fucked up past.. He didn't really enjoyed sex.. He did just to get off.. But with Kat is was different. She made him forget his painful and disturbing past. Until he found out her secret..Her secret made him freak out because it reminded him of his past and what he had lost. He ran away from her to sort his shit out but when he returned it was already too late then Kat doesn't do second chances. After a little more than 2 years he finally made it his mission to win Kat and her trust back as soon as he returned from his tour. Surprisingly I wasn't much annoyed of Kat. After I found out what exactly her secret was I kind of understood why she acted the way she did. I loved Ream and how he tried to win her back.. he was understanding, sweet and very possessive. I really enjoyed this book but I struggled with the last 30%. Thats when Ream gets confronted with his past. Overall it was a little too much for me. My favorite supporting character was Crisis. I loved him so much and can't wait for his book. ARC kindly provided via NetGalley in exchange for an honest review

Kat's secret that tore them apart I did not expect I was thinking something else but it was a refreshing change having something this important highlighted and what Ream had been doing while on tour was so caring. Ream has the biggest heart the way he wants to protect and take care of Kat and what he did to protect his sister we discover the hell he went through when he was a teenager. They are happy for a time being a couple but their relationship is not easy as something terrible happens to Kat and then Ream's past comes back with a vengeance to tear them apart and put them through hell once again. There is a big shock for Ream from his past that we will discover more about in the next book. This was another roller coaster of a read with all the emotions I felt while reading disturbing at times as I am not used to dark reads. It was great having all the gang in this as well Emily and Logan and I can't wait to get to know Crisis and Kite better.
