I LOVE a good Harlequin Presents and while this book isn't published by Harlequin, it is so reminiscent of what I love about HP books!!! The whole, poor-boy-turned-mega-rich-billionaire coming back to exact revenge on the rich-girl-who-he-loved-and-supposedly-pretended-to-love-him-then-broke-his-heart trope is one of my ABSOLUTELY FAVORITE tropes and Katie Brooks has more than done it justice in this story, in my opinion! And oh... the grovelling... I reckon that's ALWAYS the best part of these s I LOVE a good Harlequin Presents and while this book isn't published by Harlequin, it is so reminiscent of what I love about HP books!!! I reckon that's ALWAYS the best part of these stories and the amount that Jake did at the end (because of course, Grace did really love him and never stopped loving him, but just had to break Jake's heart and send him away because she was "trying to do the right thing"), was so overwhelmingly satisfying that I just wanted to jump up and down and say, "Now, THIS is what I'm looking for when I expect a billionaire to grovel." LOVE IT when a man is LITERALLY brought to his knees!! To be fair, other people may not agree with this review, but I say, if you're like me and Harlequin Presents are a guilty pleasure for you too, then you DEFINITELY have to pick up this book!!!

I love sexy romances and really enjoyed reading this book. Gorgeous billionaire Jake has never stopped loving Grace, his childhood sweetheart, even though he’s convinced himself that he wants revenge. And once he comes back into her life, Grace realises that she loves him too. But she can’t tell him as she thinks that he hates her. Of course they’ve both suffered a lot in the past, but it’s so satisfying to see how they sort out their misunderstandings and find each other again. A wonderful ‘hap I love sexy romances and really enjoyed reading this book. Obviously, after things happened, he redeemed himself and he begged! I love guys begging because usually is the other way around, I think this story is one of those love it or hate it, because it may seems corny, and that ending!
