   The layout of the material is a mess. Not well organized. And who retains information well by just reading blocks of text? A strategy I've seen that works much better is an interactive one, that asks questions and explains answers throughout the book. This one has a 50-question practice test at the end, but, not surprisingly, I didn't remember a lot of the material that the book had taught. What I did remember was stuff I already knew before going through the book. I don't feel like I gained new The layout of the material is a mess. Not well organized. I'm guessing Mometrix has this exact same section in the back of all of their study guides. Instead, it would have been helpful to have information on the specific test(s) that the guide purports to cover, such as time limits and at least a mention of how passing scores on the AMFTRB exam vary from test to test and state to state. This study guide is cheap, but if you have some extra money, invest in something like Hutchinson's online materials instead.
