Jesse Johnson is destined to be a General. The question is, does he really want that. Zoe was in an accident and Joey Santini has taken her under her wing. Jesse has been invited to the Santinis for supper and sees Zoe. They begin to spend time together. Will Jesse go for the career or get the girl?

Jesse Johnson and Zoe Jones are about as opposite as one can get, and yet they seem to have an immediate attraction to each other. This is a delightful tale with a touch or two of heartache that will tug at your heartstrings and keep you charmed from beginning to end.

TEMPT ME is a perfect example of why I love Melissa Schroeder’s writing. The book is fun, sexy and a great setup for TOUCH ME. We get to visit with the lovely Joey Santini(whom I love and feel has a second sense about life). Intense passion with characters that make you fall in love with them at the swipe of the page. By the end of the book I feel like I know Zoe, Jessie and Jack. So love that about Mel’s books!! A side note- I already love Jack, whose story we get in TOUCH ME! The laughter I had from the phone calls between Jack and Jessie alone make this a great read!!

If ever anyone was a General in the making, it’s Jesse Johnson. He’s headed straight to the top, just like his old man. Zoe Jones is healing; not just physically, but mentally, from a trauma she never saw coming and has resigned herself to some much-needed alone time, devoid of relationship complications and all they encompass. But fate always has a way of steering things on the path of her choice; and in this instance fate presents herself in the form of Joey Santini, but never the less, these two lost souls are about to go head to head with an attraction so intense that even they won’t know what’s hit them. Melissa Schroeder never disappoints, and Tempt Me was an absolute pleasure to read. Thank goodness I don’t have long to wait for book three!!

This was so much better than book 1. This couple actually dated and we got to see them get closer on the page (instead of being told how they developed feelings at other times in their thoughts). It was a fairly standard case of opposites attract but it worked well. No drama at all in this one until close to the end and they deal with it quickly. The drama with her life that caused her to be in VA was just a way to get her there and Joey did way too much meddling but this was a good read. Safety This was so much better than book 1. Another terrific military romance by Melissa Schroeder . Her experience and respect shows in every word. Tempt Me is Marine officer Jesse Johnson’s story. I loved Jesse and Zoe's story. Melissa Schroeder knows how to write a romantic and touching military romance. I enjoyed the slow buildup in their relationship before they took it to the next level. I liked how in tune Jesse was with Zoe's feelings right from the beginning and knew what she needed and not push for more when she wasn't ready. It was great that she was able to help Jesse and his father reconnect again since they seem to have a strained relationship. I also loved seeing their intera I loved Jesse and Zoe's story. I love that Joey and Papa Santini were doing what they do best in this one, butting in. Zoe needed someone to baby her and just be there for her and the Santini's were great for that. Joey being Joey couldn't help but to try her hand at matchmaking and at first glance Jesse and Zoe don't really have much in common. But as things went on you realize they are perfect for each other. I was a bit worried when it looked like neither would own up to their feelings, but all it took was a meddling Genera I love that Joey and Papa Santini were doing what they do best in this one, butting in. Loved getting more of Joey and Papa Santini love those two. Cannot wait for the next one. Jacks story should be a very good one. Loved the General Jesse's Dad he was everything you didn't expect from the way he has been mentioned in the books. Loved him maybe you can give him a HAE Melissa. Melissa has done it again. I do love a Melissa Schroeder military story. This was cute and sweet and right in the wheel house for what I wanted to read tonight. Zoe is an artist, young and not ready to settle down. Jesse is a military guy, friend of the Santini's and brother to MJ, married to a Santini son. I loved the references to Northern Virginia. I really just enjoyed visiting the Santini family again. Best of the three brothers' stories, with a little topical interest thrown in. It's good to see them look outside the box a little. Best of the three brothers' stories, with a little topical interest thrown in. It's good to see them look outside the box a little.
