I have read several books by Mainak Dhar and this is very different from his other stories. It was a wonderful story of the love of a woman for her family. When her family is violently taken from her, so seeks revenge against people and a system that will do nothing to seek justice. This story addresses real problems and I do admit that the main character does seem a little like a super hero at times, but you do root for her because you do feel her pain.

This is the second book of the author and I have to say he is one of the better authors India has produced in recent years. Although a cliche, a revenge drama but action packed engaging story based on crime against women and injustice against the normal population because the justice system is a slave of the rich and powerful especially in India. A girls story of avenging her sister and mother.

This was the last book by this author I had currently on my Kindle reader to read - and wow! Quite an action-packed adventure - and not a single zombie!
