Caisey Quinn’s writing definitely hits the spot and will leave traces of a glow showing the path it took to get to your heart. With that being said, I consider this series a 2013 MUST READ! Kylie is the girl you fight for, fight with, and fight alongside of. I LOVE THIS GIRL! At 19yrs old she is starting to blaze a trail in the country music world. She is dating Trace Corbin a huge country music star with a playboy reputation yet best known for his bad boy ways. Small recap no spoilers In book one Girl with Guitar, we watch as Kylie becomes well known after a video of her singing alongside Trace goes viral. She is then asked to go on tour with him as his opening act. A tour that is already in progress that has lost its other opening acts due to Trace and his inability to stay sober and actually give a damn. Long story short, things take a turn after Kylie becomes determined to not let him end her career before it starts. Sparks ignite and the two become a couple. In Girl On Tour Kylie goes on tour with Lily a 16yr old singer making big waves and Mia…The chick..well… I can’t tell you, you’ll have to read to find out exactly who she is. While Lily is sweet young and boy crazy, Mia is just a plain old bitch. While Kylie is away she and Trace keep in touch with texts, phone sex and Skype. Everything is going good then BAM. Trace who is fighting to keep his career afloat is told he will be touring with Gretchen Wilson aka the female version of himself. FAVE LINES that made me laugh, sweat, cringe or get teary eyed. (view spoiler)[ "Bitch meet Line, cause you just fucking crossed it" ~Kylie "..Just…I wish I could find that. Someone to love me like that—even though I’m damaged goods.” -Gretchen “Oh God, you’re so deep.” She rocked her hips slowly, not at all anxious to put any distance between him and that spot inside of her he was hitting perfectly. Her body turned to liquid as desire spread quickly through her. -Kylie 'We’re about to fuck outside. Up against the barn. Surely that’s gotta count as wild sex.' Inner monologue of Kylie “Oh, so now you want my input. Five minutes ago you were bending me over this table without the courtesy of lube, but now you need my advice?” -Trace “Yeah? Those wenches giving you hell? Need me to cunt punch one of them? Or both of them?” -LuLu (hide spoiler)] My thoughts Readers will fall head over heels in love with Kylie, Trace, Gretchen, Mia and Lily. The secondary characters shine as you get small glimpses of who they really are beneath the famous masks they wear. Quinn will undoubtedly leave you wanting to know more. And Kylie vs Mia will have you grinning from ear to ear like a Cheshire cat. Kylie is a strong loving heroine who speaks her mind and stands for what she believes. She is mature yet in other ways so young and still growing and coming in to herself. Her female intuition at 19 was pretty strong the only problem is at times she also handle things like a 19yr old. She couldn’t help it though everything is a first for her. First real relationship, first all girl tour she is learning by experience and dealing the best way she can. Trace. I am in love with this man he is sexy, sweet and can make you squirm in your seat.*wiggles eyebrows* He is also an addict and I cannot go in to further details without spoiling it. DO NOT MISS OUT. READ THE BOOK. My Ratings Characters- Loved every character! Yes, even Gretchen and mean ass Mia.lol! Writing Style- Excellent! Plot/Storyline- Two lovers fighting to be more and overcome obstacles in life. Steam Factor- HOT/Very Steamy Overall- Loved it! READ IT!!! Now go forth and read. As I turned the last page of Girl With Guitar…..I delved right into Girl on Tour, the 2nd novel of Caisey Quinn’s fabulous Kylie Ryans’s Trilogy! Shut one book, open next book immediately!! Shut one book, open next book immediately!! I am so loving Kylie Ryan’s journey to achieve her dream of making it as a music star and finding true love. The story begins with Kylie being offered to do a tour, which will have her travelling on a tour bus for months away from Trace. He has been ordered by his recording company to go on a tour and informed that if he does not get his act together, that will be the end of it for him. The separation is going to test their relationship and careers. Trace’s struggles haven’t suddenly disappeared. Dealing with his drinking problem, being pressured by his recording company to do a road trip with a problem musician, much like him….on a downward spiral of drinks and drugs…. and given an ultimatum – make sure the tour is a success, behave yourself…or else…he will be dropped from his contract. Kylie’s star is on the rise. Going on the Vitamin Water Random Road Trip Tour could be her lucky break. This tour couldn’t be more different to the one she was on with Trace. She will be sharing a tour bus, for some months, with two female singers, Mia, past American Idol winner and who we met in the first book, when she attended Kylie’s birthday party with Trace and Lily, cute 16 year old princess, whose famous music company owner father has just dumped her on the tour! What fun it was – watching three girls stuck together on a bus….bitchiness, impatience, rivalry, jealousy…..And to watch the most unlike friendship that slowly grows over time, between the three. The interaction and dialogue between these three characters was entertaining and so engaging. I’m totally engaged with Kylie and she’s one of those characters that find a place in your heart. I love her spontaneity, spirit, strength, loyalty, protectiveness of the people she loves and cares for, honesty to not being afraid to say what she feels and thinks….check out the scene where she walks up to Lily’s father…a man of power and influence in the music industry…and tells him exactly what she thinks!!!! Way to go Kylie!!! She’s young and still a bit naïve, but we see her growth in this book. She’s learning very quickly how to survive the competitiveness and jealousies in the cutthroat music world. I loved that she never forgets what’s important to her and how determined and focus she continues to be. Her outlook in life is such a breath of fresh air… The development of Kylie and Trace’s relationship is very well done. Showing us the struggles Trace is having on his tour and how he’s seeing himself through watching his tour partner, Gretchen, doing the same things he had done on his tour with Kylie. Also, how the separation between Kylie and Trace affects them in different ways. Loneliness, jealousy, insecurities, trust issues….and in the end, realizing that you are there for each other, whatever stands in the way. They have an incredible chemistry. He grinned back, the promise of something dark gleaming in his eyes. “Considering this date is going to end with that dress on my bedroom floor and your legs wrapped around my neck, I think it’s a perfectly acceptable thing to say.” Good Lord. What was she going to do with this man? Oh yeah. Exactly what he’d just described.Whatever happens, Kylie will never give up on Trace! She’s not afraid to show her feelings, to say what she feels….even when Trace is having thoughts of not being good enough for her….even when he behaves like a twit with her…..it doesn’t matter to Kylie………she wants his happiness, knowing she loves and cares for him…always! The development of the story is really good and well paced. New and engaging characters introduced. What I find interesting is how relatable the characters are and how the music scene and settings feel so real. There’s not really a cliffhanger at the end but it does leave you thinking where the story of Kylie and Trace will go next! I was totally and beyond captivated!!! And can’t wait for the next installment…..Girl in Love!!! Loved this

Both have their issues (Trace more than Kylie) and to add even more tension, now they both go on tour… on their own! Overall, the read was really, easy, cute and slightly tensed. I would say Caisey was giving you a taste of the final course and really it was just what I needed before I get to Girl in Love. Now with that said, let’s put the disclaimer out there, Yes there’s a cliffy, BUT in all fairness, it’s book 2 and you got to kind of have it right? Do not be deterred by this cliffy! If you loved Girl with Guitar, you will love Girl on Tour. So, it starts with Kylie and Trace about to leave on tour. Everything is pretty much happy go-lucky. When they start their tours, Kylie and Trace work on their relationship at a long distance. Sure, you could say it has some resemblance of Thoughtless series, but I thought Kylie and Trace were overall level-headed and there weren’t any pull-my-hair-out moments. So YAY! I know, I hate that kind of tension, everyone knows that. I’m with you, Trace. My music is my music. I give it everything I have. If people don’t like me, either because of you or because of my music, well… they can change the damn channel Kylie deals with her crazy band mates, Mia and Lily who are complete bitches BUT you find out why so they aren’t that bad and really they aren’t. Trace is touring with sexy, but messed up Gretchen. So there’s THAT issue. I love Kylie, she’s a sweet heart and you just want to HUG her! Although, she’s more sassy and I love it! Trace, oh Trace, I wanted to punch him in Girl with Guitar and I want to punch him … okay not punch, maybe slap him, in Girl on Tour. He’s definitely a Hero with major issues, so if you love an anti-Hero, then Trace is perfect for you. …make another comment about Trace, his drinking or otherwise, then I promise, you won’t be able to whistle fucking Dixie when I’m through with you Please go suck it up and Google your fucking self So, with everything said, if you loved Girl with Guitar, you will NOT be disappointed with Girl on Tour!!! This is a three book series and Caisey warned me that book 1 is happily ever for now and book 3 will be happily ever after but book 2 would break me. Kylie is joining the Vitamin Water Tour and Trace is getting ready to start his No A This is a three book series and Caisey warned me that book 1 is happily ever for now and book 3 will be happily ever after but book 2 would break me. She wasn’t kidding and even though I was warned, I still wasn’t prepared for the emotions I would feel and the book hangover that ensued. After struggling with their feelings and overcoming the obstacles, Trace and Kyle have reunited, only to now be separated again. Kylie is joining the Vitamin Water Tour and Trace is getting ready to start his No Apologies Tour. They will be apart for 12 weeks, with opportunities to see each other only coming around a few times when their tours cross path. They are determined to make the distance work and Trace is resolute to quit drinking and be a better man, a man that Kylie deserves. However, distance and temptation threaten to break everything they’ve re-built and they both learn how difficult being together in the spotlight really can be. Kylie is still the same kick-ass, tell it like it is chick and I loved her even more after this book. She still acts first and thinks later when it comes to her emotions and the decisions that she makes but that is Kylie and I don’t think I’d like her as much if she was different, even when I want to scream at her for it. She recognizes this in herself but is strong about doing what is right, consequences be damned. She loves Trace, flaws and all, and she never tries to change him. She only wants him to stop drinking because of what it does to him and his family. She would never try to change the person that he is because that is who she fell in love with. Despite jealousy and her in-ability to ignore the media and tabloids, she works really hard at her relationship with Trace. I was disappointed in her when she didn’t recognize Trace’s real feelings when he was pushing her away. I wanted her to fight harder for him but I understand the insecurities she still feels in their relationship and he definitely played that to his advantage. “I’m from Oklahoma, honey. I can bless your heart and hate your guts all at the same time.” Trace is a man that must grow on you. He was a total dick and a selfish drunk in Girl With Guitar but when his past and his home life was delved into more, it was so much easier to understand his actions and the persona he put on. I couldn’t help falling for him in spite of his actions because it was all a front for a man that was just afraid of becoming someone he never wanted to be. He opened up to Kylie, allowed her into his carefully guarded heart and in turn saw so much more in himself. Despite his many mistakes in Girl On Tour and the poor decisions that he made, I couldn’t help falling for him more. He wanted to quit drinking and be a better man for Kylie and it made me so sad that he never felt good enough for her, even though she always told him he was. He was so hard on himself and held so much self-loathing and contempt for himself and it crushed me as he spiraled downwards. “I’ve never wanted anything like I want you. Not a drink, not a drug, not even music. Not a single damned thing, Kylie.” Kylie and Trace have a very delicate relationship and being apart and in the media spotlight is not easy on it. Trace is trying to straighten out and Kylie is his sounding board but being away from her makes it really hard for him to stay straight. It also doesn’t help that he is touring with Gretchen Gibson, the “female version” of him, as Kylie puts it. She puts a lot of stress and pressure on Trace and without Kylie around, his self-control is tested and he ultimately fails. When it comes to Gretchen, Trace makes some poor decisions that put a lot of strain on the relationship. His heart is in the right place but he didn't always think about the affect those actions would have. Gretchen carried around demons that she only shared with Trace and despite her actions and attitude, she never tried to intentionally cause problems for Trace and Kylie and I actually felt bad for her towards the end. Kylie is on tour with a sixteen year old drama queen, Lily Taite, and Trace’s ex, Mia Montgomery, who seems to be holding a grudge. The tension on the bus, along with being away from Trace so much, starts to get to Kylie. For most of the book, I was not a fan of Mia. She seemed like a stuck up bitch and she held a intense grudge and hatred for Kylie without any real explanation. However, towards the end, she changed and her and Kylie came to terms with each other. In fact, I have a feeling she will be a great friend and source of support for Kylie in book 3. “If you give everything you have to other people and they don’t have anything to give you in return… you end up with nothing. Not a single thing.” This book slowly broke me as I watched the separation and Trace’s loss of control disintegrate their relationship. They loved each other so much but Trace couldn’t keep it together and my heart shattered as he pushed Kylie away and made some tough decisions in the end. Kylie was so heartbroken and vulnerable and she failed to recognize what Trace was really doing. I understood Trace's reasons for what he did and I loved him for his fierce desire to protect Kylie but I wish he could have seen himself the way she did and recognized the love she had for him. The final 2 chapters seriously left a lump in my throat that I had to swallow down to keep from crying. The most amazing thing about this series is the incredibly emotional story that is being told and the writing is so well done that I feel like I am right there with the characters, feeling all their emotions. There is nothing better than a book that plays like a movie in my head and this series does just that. I can picture every character and every moment as if I’m living it and that is the kind of story that leaves me reeling for days. The final book, Girl in Love, is by far, my most anticipated release for 2014.

With this they finally get together and try to make their relationship work but all too soon they are both on the road and finding keeping a new relationship is hard work. Kylie is having a hard time with her new road companions and not having Trace near by while Trace is battling his own demons. With these demons comes secrets, lies, dishonesty and regrets. Trace has never felt this way before about anyone and doesn't know how to cope with his new feelings and not having Kylie near by. Once the stress becomes too much their fragile relationship shatters and everything falls apart. Add in miscommunication, insecurities, self-preservation, martyrisms and all hell breaks loose. I was so sad with Trace's demise and his choices to fix them. For Kylie when finally everything is coming together at the same time everything is falling apart. My advice to Kylie and Trace. This book was amazing and seeing the growth and loss of Kylie and Trace was a beautiful journey. The key word being journey as the end may gut you a bit but we hope that their happiness is around the corner. I can't wait for Girl in Love (January feels so far away) my fingers are crossed that we finally get to see Trace and Kylie have their well deserved HEA. I absolutely LOVED book 1, Girl With Guitar, and Girl On Tour was just as phenomenal!!! I swear I loved everything about this book. Everything! Caisey's writing style is, in my opinion, flawless. The lady can write!!!!!!!! I was fully engrossed in the story line and for the life of me, I could not put down my Kindle. It's truly incredible. Here, we see both Kylie and Trace grow, not only as a couple, but as individuals. The way Caisey wrote this book, you can't help but feel their passion and love towards each other... it's like you're right there with them, every step of the way. "I was broken. Dead inside," she whispered. "You made me feel alive." "He wanted to kiss her more than he wanted air." But just like in real life, relationships aren't always easy and Trace and Kylie learn that from the very beginning. Spending so many nights apart because of their tours just sucked! That simple....sucked! I won't go into any of the details because this is a book you have to read and experience for yourself, but know, it's quite the rollercoaster. You will laugh, swoon, squirm, get angry, and you will most definitely cry. There's plenty of page-turning drama that will keep you hooked. All throughout the book, there was one thing I was 100% certain of - Kylie and Trace's love. I never once doubted their feelings for each other. Not.Once. And this is why I LOVED the ending!!!! Well, I didn't really love, love it, but I completely understood it. In fact, I wouldn't have it any other way. And want to know something else??? This book ends in a cliffhanger . *GASP* Usually, no, that's a lie, I ALWAYS hate cliffhangers but this particular ending was very much needed . This is something that HAD to happen in order for Kylie and Trace to really get their HEA. I guess you can say, this is the first time and probably the only time, I'll agree with this type of ending. But don't get me wrong, I'm desperate to get my hands on Girl In Love. I HIGHLY recommend this book!!! I will read anything and everything Caisey Quinn writes! "She deserved someone who could give her forever. A future. Promises that would be kept. All he could give her was today."

The sizzling passion between Kylie and Trace just drips off the page - and we are treated to our first sexual encounter in the first 3%. Warning Ladies - Please don't read in public...you may get a bit hot and bothered! "He walked them forward, still holding her in mid-air as he pressed her up against the interior wall of the barn. No, correction, it hurts my heart a LOT. Trace and Kylie are so in love, they melt into each other when they are together but Kylie is young and Trace is suffering from an addiction - a recipie for complete disaster. Caisey covers the topic of alcoholism well - she makes it gritty, mean, hurtful and painful. All thing's that are true to those suffering from alcoholism and more importantly true to those who love an alcoholic. It makes for grim reading and, if you are like me, you will be SCREAMING "DON'T DO IT!" on more than one occasion. Only brilliant authors can evoke such emotion from a reader and I think this show's the Lovely Mrs Quinn's excellence. I fell completely in love with Kylie and Trace and loved this book just as much as Girl with Guitar. Cannot wait on Girl in Love - Hurry Up January 2014!! Note: This book ends on a Cliff-hanger and Book 3 (Girl In Love) is not released until January 2014. *Author provided a copy of this book in exchange for an honest review*

She’s dating Trace Corbin, country music legend whose career is close to tanking. Both might be falling in love with the other. All seems to be going well until both set off in different directions on tour. There are plenty of bumps along the way that will both amuse and break your heart. With a boost from some really wonderfully written secondary characters, the appeal level soars even higher. This one will tug at your emotional strings. It is beautifully written with a nice pace. Kylie and Trace's happily-ever-after is just out of reach this time around. Too many obstacles stand in the way. Readers will have to wait for the next addition to see if love will find a way, whether or not Trace can save his career, and see if Kylie is strong enough to set heartbreak aside and continue to make her career dreams come true. The third and final installment in the "Kylie Ryans" series, Girl In Love, is scheduled for release on February 1, 2014.

This starts off with Kylie going on the Vitamin Water Tour and much to her disappointment she learns that none other than Mia Montgomery is touring with her. Then to make things worse, Trace is starting his own tour, Co-headlining with Gretchen Gibson, aka the female Trace Corbin. Trace is still sexy as hell and Kylie is still tough as nails. But with the unexpected additions for the tours thrown at them problems begin to arise. Long distance is tough anyways then add conflicting schedules, paprazzi, and rumours. Not to mention attempts at sobriety. All a combination for things to spiral out of control. Do I wish things would of ended differently? You bet your ass I do! But I also feel like things happened in this book the way they have to in order for things to get better. After all don't you have to hit rock bottom before you can rise to the top and stay? Great sexy, heart-wrenching roller coaster follow up to Caisey Quinn's debut novel. Caisey sure as heck knows how to tell a story. Can not wait to read more about Kylie and Trace in the third book! I NEED my HEA!

I was a beta reader for this novel Just a little tidbit of information: before I started Girl on Tour, Caisey Quinn agreed to pay for my booze and/or therapy that I may need because of this book. I’ll cut you a deal and save you money on the therapy, but I suggest shoving a bunch of booze in a box and shipping it my way…because I need it. Girl on Tour is the sequel to Caisey’s debut novel, Girl with Guitar, and is every bit as fantastic. This novel follows both Kylie and Trace’s separate tours as they struggle to find time together and are forced to deal with love in the limelight. Tabloids, rumors, misinterpreted pictures, old flings, and hard-to-kick habits are all standing by in the wings just waiting to light their relationship on fire and watch it go down in flames. Kylie and Trace try to beat the odds stacked against them, but their paths may not be going the same way like they planned; they may just be going in exact opposite directions. This story did a number on me. I love Kylie and Trace, and watching them struggle to balance their careers and their relationship was tough. There is so much love between these two that you just want to reach into the book and shake some sense into them! BUT...even though they had their fair share of problems, there was also a lot of steam and sexiness and adorableness and just plain love between these two amazing characters. I loved the incorporation of the other secondary characters, like Kylie's tour mates, Lily Taite and Mia Montgomery, and Trace's co-headliner, Gretchen Gibson. The relationships between them added the elements of friendship, tension, and compassion to the story and took it from good to great. Right about now you're probably wondering why I needed alcohol after finishing this book when I've had nothing but good things to say about it. Well, let me tell you why. Because this isn't a happily ever after. It's rough. Some parts will break your heart. But the only thing holding me together is knowing that this isn't the end of Kylie and Trace's story. So even though my fragile heart endured more than it could handle, I absolutely, positively adored this book. PS - Caisey, you might as well just send an ARC of Girl in Love along with my box of booze to, you know, help calm my nerves and heal my heart ;)

Oh my goodness, Caisey Quinn knows how how to write a good book! She never disappoints! I absolutely fell in love with Trace and Kylie in Girl with Guitar so I was thrilled to read more of their story in Girl on Tour. I felt like this was a wonderful follow up to the first book. I hated Mia and Gretchen at first, but they both grew on me after getting to hear their back stories. Honestly I wanted to slap both of them for trying to interfere in the lives of Trace and Kylie. Even though there's not a happily ever after in this book, I was satisfied with the way it ended. I know that Trace has to deal with his issues before he can move forward with his life. Also, I'm glad we get to see a little more vulnerability from Kylie in the end. She's such a badass, but she has a heart too. Everyone can be heartbroken, no matter how strong they are. I am already anxiously awaiting the release of book 3! <3

Kylie' s relationships with her tour companions Lily and Mia added more interest too, it wasn't all about Trey and Kylie. The chemistry between them is good and the smut really good, but there's not much of it as they spend much of this story working and living apart. It ends on a bit of a cliffhanger, I'm invested enough to keep reading.

I honestly don't even know how to start this review. I came upon Caisey Quinn a few months ago and knew I had to read her debut novel Girl with Guitar. I came upon Caisey Quinn a few months ago and knew I had to read her debut novel Girl with Guitar. A new adult contemporary about a girl trying to make it big in country music? Um, yes! Being a Nashville girl myself, I was psyched to read about this girl from small town Oklahoma, who is dealing with the heartbreak of losing someone dear to her but still wanting to pursue her dreams. I also love how realistic it is- our MC Kylie Ryans doesn't just appear in Nashville with her guitar and instantly get recognized. Caisey does a great job of showing her readers just how difficult it was for Kylie and how frustrating it could be trying to get your name and sound out there. Getting involved in the music industry takes a lot of work and being able to handle rejection. Kylie ends up taking a job at a bar and begins waitressing so she can pay for a room and food. However, after getting up and performing at their amateur night, she comes face to face with country music star Trace Corbin. Trace has fallen into a bit of a bad way- he drinks too much and is on the verge of ruining his career with his choices. I loved this book. It is completely a 5 star read for me. I had already fallen for these characters in book one and watching them continue to develop and grow and make mistakes is something I loved seeing. Caisey has also done a great job of developing her secondary characters and I feel Mia, Lily, and Gretchen play such pivotal roles in this novel. Kylie ends up going on tour with Trace and slowly the two start to develop feelings for one another. I said in my first review that I didn't really like Trace and found him to be a rather difficult character to like. He ran very hot and cold with Kylie, and I felt he made some really bad choices when it came to her. However, I have to say: Trace really grew on me in this book. (I knew he would!) Kylie and Trace's relationship is sexy, steamy, but also really sweet at the same time. (Yeah, the prologue alone was enough to make a girl melt!) However, Kylie and Trace are really tested in this book, both as a couple and as individuals. Kylie is setting out to go on tour with a couple of other singers and Trace is set to go out on his own tour. They are finally at a good place together and starting a new relationship is a big step for both of them. However, the two must now see for themselves if their relationship can withstand the pressures of being apart so soon after reconnecting or if it will fall apart due to outside forces working against them. Kylie is so new to the business- she's just getting her feet wet and starting out on her own. I feel like she really wants to make her own way, not being known only for her association with Trace. Kylie is very independent and is smart when it comes to making sound decisions for her career. However, as we learned in the first book, Kylie is driven by her emotions, thus earning the nickname 'Hothead' from Trace. She is much the same in this book and I've got to say: the girl has guts. There were a couple of scenes where she wasn't afraid to tell people what was up and I really liked that about her. However, she doesn't always think of the consequences to her actions until afterwards. She is forced to tour with Mia Montgomery (a former American Idol star who may or may not have history with Trace), as well as with Lily Taite (a 16 year old girl whose father is a big time producer) Mia seems to hold a grudge against Kylie and really shows her no love during the tour. Lily is self-centered and is used to getting her way. Kylie couldn't be more different than these two girls, but knows she must suck it up and get along with them for the sake of the tour. Trace is also set to go on tour and finds out he will be touring with Gretchen Gibson, who is in pretty bad shape herself. She is basically the female equivalent of Trace- drunk, late to shows, etc. They are both paired up, as they are on their last chance with their record label. Trace wants to prove himself and turn his act around, but dealing with Gretchen, who is a ticking time bomb, is not going to be easy. Trace is also struggling with his drinking again- he lets himself believe a beer or two isn't a bad thing, and then lets it escalate to the point he was at before. He makes excuses for himself and doesn't handle it the way he should. I won't lie: Trace definitely crushed me by the end of the book. I should be completely pissed at him, yet I can't bring myself to be. He truly believes he isn't good enough for someone like Kylie. He's afraid he will bog her down and ruin her career before she even starts it. She's young, she's talented, and he knows she has so many opportunities in front of her. He doesn't want to ruin that and drag her down. He knows she follows her heart and she would sacrifice her music to be with him. He doesn't want that for her. Trace's insecurities get the best of him and he makes some decisions that will greatly affect him and Kylie. I hate that he felt that way because Kylie would give it all up for him- she is crazy in love and he makes her happy. However, Trace doesn't feel worthy of her love I think he's secretly terrified he will end up like his jerk of a father. I said above both Trace and Kylie would be tested individually and as a couple. Jealousy, distrust, and miscommunication are huge issues in this book. Trace has a history with women and as much as Kylie wants to trust him- the media sure does make that difficult for her, especially being so far away. The thing about the media is that they can spin even the most innocent picture to be something more. Both Kylie and Trace see pictures taken by the media and automatically assume the worst. As a young couple, the one thing they must learn is to trust one another, or their relationship will not survive, especially being in the business they are. Overall, Girl on Tour is an awesome sophomore novel and Caisey really did an amazing job of continuing Kylie and Trace's story, showing us that sometimes you have to fight to hold on to what you love and sometimes you have to make the difficult decision of letting go.... *Received a copy of this book in exchange for a fair and honest review.*

I totally adored Girl with Guitar! It was a book that just snuck out and grabbed me ~ I will be honest I was thinking ..... when I read Girl on Tour! I mean here we have Kylie & Trace in the beginning of what is looking to be an fantastic relationship ~ in the first stage of love that period of time where you need to be together you have to be together to build a stronger foundation and Kylie is leaving for a tour and eventually so does Trace. HOWEVER, it's not the same tour they each are on different ones! This alone had me wanting to..... a time or two. Lucky Kylie, ( inject sarcasm ) is out on tour with 16 year old pampered, not lift a finger, little rich girl Lily and Trace's ex-girlfriend or "thang" Mia. The combination of the three of them together had me .... sometimes and then totally wanting to... Lily & Mia at other times. Kyle that dear Kylie she's starting to come into her own. She knows that this tour is important to kick off her career off. It's hard when your missing your other half and I would be totally.... out when I couldn't get ahold of him. I guess a little insecurity in a new relationship is warranted and the "tabloids" and "rumors" certainly don't help ~ well it really doesn't help when Trace is out on tour with Gretchen Gibson ~ the female counterpart of Trace. Who's bright idea was it to put two addicts together on a tour and same bus? Especially when one is trying to stop and the other is still full steam ahead ~ Oh yeah, that's the Exec's at the labels bright idea. I could've .... someone, anyone, or perhaps EVERYONE. Trace is still our hottie, *cough, cough* I mean Kylie's hottie but can he resist temptation? and what form of temptation am I talking about? HA! No spoilers from me you have to read it. I swear I was totally... at Trace a time or two or three or well you get the picture. I had a few... bouts but I kind of expected that and I totally had a few... I mean it wouldn't be such a great book if everything is hunky dory ~ what would the point of extending it into 3 books if it was all rainbows and butterfly's. Realistically, you have to account for Kylie just starting her career, you know that promise to her Dad, and Trace facing his one shot at redemption trying to make up for past mistakes then throw in a few characters and bumps in the road and you would totally... too! I knew that Girl on Tour was going to leave me hanging but I still .... I'm totally a cliffy type of reader. I love angst ~ don't need a HEA. I adore being shocked and I love getting to the end and having to THINK about what I just read! I process and then I'm.... Casey has delivered another 5++++ star read for me! I loved this one in fact so far Girl on Tour is my favorite of the two books in this series and believe me that means something! If an author can pull the reader into a second book and hook-em harder then they did in the first ~ she has done her job and she has done it well! It was beautifully written and it was REAL! Casey has done a fantastic job of leaving the reader salivating for more and I want MORE... If you haven't started this series I totally recommend it ~ both books will have you drawn in so quickly that you don't want to put them down. Heck, at times you will be upset that bodily functions force you to put a halt to the reading ~ unless you take it with you but I'm afraid I'll drop my Kindle and then I'd freak more ~ I don't recommend that you strap on a pair Depends while reading this one but hey if you can stand it then all I'm trying to say is this series is one of those I CAN'T PUT THE BOOK DOWN series!

As a huge fan of Girl with Guitar, I couldn't wait to dive into the second installment of the Kylie Ryans Series to fulfill my need for more of Kylie and Trace. Caisey Quinn did not disappoint. I loved it! I had a smile on my face for most of the first part of Girl on Tour. Trace and Kylie were so happy just being together, learning about each other, and sharing everything. Just as I thought everything was going great, Trace and Kylie were doing so well in their relationship, and Trace was really trying to be a better man for Kylie....bam! Caisey Quinn allowed me to remain in my fantasy world only for a short while before she thrust me back into the reality that Trace and Kylie faced as both left for separate tours...and here my emotional rollercoaster begins. The insecurities of each other's feelings, the paparazzi that comes with fame, and the misunderstandings that plagued both Trace and Kylie were the catalyst for the drama that would possibly be the downfall of Trace...or Kylie...or both. My emotions were up and down with this book, but I never wavered in my love for these two characters. Trace Corbin is still as sexy and sweet as ever! I'm still in love with this character, but I did want to junk punch Trace a couple of times as he returned to his former jerk mode. In fairness, I also understood that everything he did was out of love for Kylie. Trace Corbin tried so very hard to be the man he thought Kylie deserved, but he just couldn't see himself as ever being good enough. His self-image was that of a womanizing drunkard with anger issues, and he viewed himself as weak and unable to resist the temptation of alcohol. My heart broke for Trace, and I could see his demise slowly take place before my eyes....until my heart was completely obliterated for this man. Kylie has matured and become quite a bit stronger in this installment. She is still the hot head who speaks and acts before she thinks, but in the end, she gets the job done. Her emotions continue to rule her head, and that's not always a good thing for Kylie. She's experiencing the success she's always wanted, but even though she is more mature, she still has the insecurities of the nineteen year old she is. Her separation from Trace is difficult enough, but being thrust on a tour bus with two other females (Lily, the dramatic teen, and Mia, the angry witch with ties to Trace) makes for a bumpy ride through the months without her biggest supporter -- Trace, with exception of Skype dates, texting, and a couple of tour schedules that allow them to see each other. The drama in this installment is really kicked up a notch, and my heart is completely shattered from this book. The tension is high, and the angst is higher. Caisey Quinn has written a novel that has me in total anxiety and panic wanting the third installment, Girl in Love, due for release in January, 2014. The Kylie Ryans Series has met all my expectations of what a series should be. Girl with Guitar was the perfect first book of the series to seduce me and completely take me into the world of these characters, setting the stage for a continuance in book 2. Girl on Tour is the perfect extension of the story, yet leaves me wanting more and in torment for a relief that will come (hopefully) in book 3. I will warn you that this book has a cliffhanger that had me in tears, confusion as to my emotions toward Trace, and throwing my Kindle at the shock I experienced in the last chapter....and the last few pages! I cried during several scenes in this book, as well as chuckled a few times. Kylie and Trace are as non-perfect and real as ever, and the new secondary characters (Mia, Lily, and Gretchen) create a sort of bridge between Kylie and Trace as they are separated throughout most of the story. We also see the revival of some old characters - Lulu, Carmen, and Stephen (whom I really hate right now). Grrrrr. You'll see why...just you read it! This has easily become a series that is dear to me, because I connected so well with the characters and feel as though I know them personally. My emotions were left raw after reading Girl on Tour, and if an author can accomplish that, then it is an easy recommendation from me. While Girl with Guitar was 5-stars for me, Girl on Tour didn't quite meet that same mark. I can't put my finger on why, because the drama and emotions were certainly there. Perhaps it was my own feelings at the time when going into the book? At any rate, I can easily recommend this series to those who want a romance filled with exceptional characters, flawless writing, and a plot that will seduce the reader into addiction. **Thank you to the author for providing me with an ARC in exchange for an honest review.

She is truly one of only a handful of authors that I will stop whatever I am reading to one click her latest release and immediately read it the moment it is live on Amazon, her books are just that amazing. Girl on Tour picks up right where Girl with a Guitar leaves off. I knew going into this book it wasn’t going to be all hearts and flowers. Kylie was heading out on her tour with Trace’s ex and a spoiled princess so you know there will be drama there, then throw in Trace going in the opposite direction with someone from his past that struggles with the same demons and throw those demons and temptations in and you are going to have drama, lies and many many assumptions by all parties involved. This story is of them being a couple in the celebrity world and all that comes with it on top of 2 people with their own issues that come together and are just trying to figure out how to be couple. There are some very dramatic, suspenseful and heartbreaking moments but Caisey has given us some very hot, steamy and heartwarming moments as well. ”I’ll always come back.” No matter how many times you push me away. She was a junkie. A Trace Corbin addict. And damn proud of it. ~ Kylie These two characters are so amazing and truly feel so real to me, you can’t not love them to pieces, no matter what they do. Everything that happens to them, both good and bad, you seriously can’t help to feel what they feel and you become so invested in their story. All you want is for them to be together and get their HEA, well we haven’t gotten it yet, and we are seriously left hanging but I am still holding out hope that Caisey will give that to us. I won’t say any more than that as this book to be truly appreciated and enjoyed to it’s fullest you need to be reading it blind and experience every emotion to the fullest. ”I’ve never wanted anything like I want you. Not a drink, not a drug, not even music. Not a single damn thing, Kylie. Do you understand that?” ~ Trace Seriously a love like that deserves and HAS TO be given a Happily Ever After and I so cannot wait for Girl in Love cause I know Caisey will not disappoint and I seriously need some more Trace and Kylie hotness.. This is the third book of Caisey’s I have read and for me, she is 3 for 3, she has given me nothing but 3 outstanding 5+ star stories with amazing characters and phenomenally written realistic storylines. So Keep writing and I will keep coming back to read!

I was afraid of this book, I didn't know where Caisey was going to take the story and I knew this was going to be the part of the relationship where it was going to be a bumpy road. I am pleased to say that Caisey nailed this continuation and it was even more than I expected, however.... "You ready for this?" This is not a happy ever after, nope this is real. Caisey gave us reality in this book, she forced us to see the flaws that Trace is struggling with. We watch as Kylie starts this new chapter in her career and we see the true vision of what a true celebrity couple deals with. The strain of being apart, the missed phone calls, the empty beds and how the gossip magazines can spin anything. I will say Caisey warned this was not going to be hearts, flowers and fairy tales. "Why do I never listen?" I didn't listen because I am so invested in this couple I needed to see this part! Now there might not have been hearts and flowers but there were still those scenes that made you want your own country boy, your own Trace. The scenes that made my whole body melt, HONEST TO GOD THERE IS NOT A BOOK BOYFRIEND LIKE TRACE!! HOLY HELL the boy does things to my insides. Before she realized what was happening, she was screaming. Actually screaming. His name. And a few obscenities she didn't make a habit of saying out loud. And the one word she'd probably always say when he wanted something from her. Yes. See tell me you can say no to reading this book. I don't want to say much more because its something that can't be ruined. I will say that Kylie and the girls on the tour are maybe some of my favorite parts. They are real, they are honest and it is a friendship I wasn't expecting to form. "Three girls on a bus is not the best idea ever, you know?" Yep I love them as much as I love Kylie and Trace! So prepare yourself for some laughter, a couple kindle shakes with alittle I WANT TO KICK YOUR ASS, and then get some tissues because there is definitely a couple tears. "You fell in love, Love is a mean bastard. That's precisely why I avoid it." DAMN IT, couldn't be avoided I am in LOVE, I am a Girl in Love so that means I get book 3 right?

Girl on Tour is a fun, sexy, emotional second book in Caisey Quinn’s Kylie Ryans series! There is something about this storyline and these characters, Kylie and Trace, which I fell in love with in book one, and I love them even more after Girl on Tour!! Let me start off by stating the obvious. This is book two out of three, so be smart, and know going in that the story won’t be resolved in Girl on Tour. If you can do that, I promise you, you’ll enjoy this story so, so much more. This series is ab Girl on Tour is a fun, sexy, emotional second book in Caisey Quinn’s Kylie Ryans series! Let me start off by stating the obvious. This is book two out of three, so be smart, and know going in that the story won’t be resolved in Girl on Tour. If you can do that, I promise you, you’ll enjoy this story so, so much more. This series is about the journey of building a relationship. That takes time. There are hurdles to overcome and trials to get through prior to the happily-ever-after. Think of it this way: if it comes too easily, the characters won’t appreciate what they have and neither will the reader. So. Here’s why I loved book two, Girl on Tour. Reason number one: the characters continued to grow and evolve, together and individually, as did the relationship. I didn’t have to spend my whole reading experience rehashing old ground, or, at least not too much of it. I appreciate and enjoy that fact. Reason number two: I love reading books set in the music industry/profession. I mean…I LOVE it. I’m sort of like an addict with these books. And, while I am most decidedly not a fan of country music, apparently, when I’m reading, that just doesn’t matter. I’m guessing it’s due to the fact that I don’t have to actually listen to the twangy hillbillies singing about their shotguns and trucks! Joke. That was a JOKE, people. Please don’t lynch me ;-) Reason number three: Trace is freaking SEXY. ‘Nuff said? Yeah. I thought so, too. Reason number four: Kylie and her friends are HILARIOUS!!! There are some amazingly snarky, laugh-until-you-pee lines in this book, and I do love humor. “Thanks for your concern. While I’m at it, I’ll see if Carl can locate your dignity. Or that last ounce of class you must’ve dropped on your way in. Lovely perfume you’re wearing, by the way.” Kylie inhaled. “Smells like drunken bartender and piss-drenched back alley. Bet your evening was super special.” Caisey Quinn writes this series with such ease and fantastic ability. I’ve been so impressed with this author thus far, and I truly cannot wait for book three, Girl in Love, which has an expected release date of January 2014. Honestly, when all is said and done, this series makes me happy. It makes me smile and laugh. I love it. It’s just that simple. 4.5 Stars For more reviews, please visit Sinfully Sexy Book Reviews or visit us on Facebook.

Caisey Quinn has done it again! Girl with Guitar won my heart with its country music setting and strong characters and Girl on Tour deepened my connection even further. My Recap : As you might have guessed this book is about Kylie’s tour. Kylie is on the cusp of making it big and her tour and separation from Trace are going to test her career and relationship to the last. My Thoughts : When I read the first chapter, I was nervous that this book was going to be high on steam and low on plotline. How Caisey Quinn has done it again! My Thoughts : When I read the first chapter, I was nervous that this book was going to be high on steam and low on plotline. However, I need not have worried as that was far from the case. There were lots of interesting new characters and as the whole vibe is so fun and snarky, I had no problems with the pace of the book. Kylie is spirited, impulsive and feisty and her tongue is as uncensored as ever which often made me chuckle away to myself. You can see her growth in this book, she is learning fast how to survive in a tough, competitive environment but she never loses sight of just who she is and what is important to her. She is fiercely loyal and will always say what needs to be said to protect those she loves. The setting on the tour bus with the other two female singers was hilarious. It was messy, bitchy and shambolic at times. As was her relationship with the other two girls. Great fun to watch! And it lends a light-hearted tone to the book. What I loved even more was watching the unlikely friendships spring up where you would expect only back-stabbing and rivalry. The best part though was her relationship with Trace. It was hard to watch but I totally agree with what happened in Girl on Tour. It needed to happen, it was the only mature direction and it gives me a lot of hope for both characters for the future. Roll on book 3, I can’t wait to see how this story wraps up. Who should read this book? Fans of contemporary NA books, of strong female characters, of country and western music settings would all enjoy this one. Be warned the language is strong and graphic so avoid if that is something that annoys you. Thanks to Caisey Quinn for giving me a copy of this book in exchange for an honest, unbiased review.

So if this one didn't pull at my heart strings too! WOW - I love you Caisey Quinn! I also hate you at the same time, but I did read your warning! :) There is definitely a cliff hanger on this one, but its not as bad as I anticipated! Yes, there is more to the story, but you aren't left with a ton of questions unanswered. Trace kept breaking my heart over and over. He is such a hot mess. And when I say HOT - I mean panty dropping, tight jeans and a cowboy hat hot! Trace is struggling with his car So if this one didn't pull at my heart strings too! WOW - I love you Caisey Quinn! He keeps messing up, but he just breaks my heart when he doesn't think he deserves happiness. Kylie is trying to show him he can have it all. His fame, family and dream. She is so strong especially without having a family to lean on. I can't imagine going on tour, press conferences, studio time and being so busy and trying to juggle all that plus a new relationship. I had a hard enough time juggling school, boyfriends and friends at nineteen. :) Anyway, I don't want to give anything away..but go READ IT NOW! - I really enjoy Trace and Kylie's story...I cannot wait for book 3!! I need it like now!!! **ARC received by the Author

This one was another that I finished in one sitting. It leaves off pretty much right after Girl With Guitar. Kylie is going on the Vitamin Water tour, and Trace is planning a tour of his own when a big wrench by the name of Gretchen Gibson comes into play. Imagine a wilder, drunker verison of Trace at his worst. I really enjoyed this one too. The only thing I didn't like was the rampant jealousy between Trace and Kylie. She's been told to basically not believe anything she reads on the internet, This one was another that I finished in one sitting. It leaves off pretty much right after Girl With Guitar. She's been told to basically not believe anything she reads on the internet, but still flies off into a rage when she sees stuff about him. Trace should know better too. It doesn't happen just once either. The epilogue completely screwed with me and made me ready to read the third (and final) one.

No spoilers here! I received an ARC of this book for my honest review. Just like in real life, Kylie and Trace must learn to survive being on tour and never having time for each other. Their feelings run deep and strong even though there is quite an age difference. This book is a must read. Girl in Love, the final entry in this series, is very much awaited.
