A lot like Dream Me Off My Feet, Stevie Kisner captured me with the guys from Slanker Knox. Yes, I know another band book... but this one is a prequel to the "Sex, Love and Rock & Roll" series by Stevie Kisner. If you haven't read Dream Me Off My Feet, this book is a great place to start. What I loved about this book is that it was a great insight into all of the band members. I really got to know their personalities and what each of them were like and separately they are so completely different, but when they are together, they are one bad-ass band that kicks it hard across the country. This was a great insight into the lives of JT (who we spend a lot of time getting to know in Dream Me Off My Feet), Rafe, Paul, Ian and Clay. You get to know them individually and it is a great lead into many more fabulous books in this series. I have so many questions that I know are begging to be answered in upcoming books by Stevie Kisner and I cannot wait! This band is hot in Dream Me Off My Feet, but now with Stagepass, I feel like I know the characters and their lives so much more intimately. This book is well written and detailed. I loved all the insight to this hot band and I cannot wait for another book by Stevie Kisner to keep me going with Slanker Knox! Stevie does an amazing job with the characters and the storyline. Although they are all part of the band, they each have very different perspectives on life. I cannot wait for more from this series!

This was prequel to Dream Me Off My Feet, while I don’t think it’s important to read this first, I really wish I had. I loved it, it was short but I really loved seeing A little sneak peek into all the guys and it made me like JT a bit more this round too, this is really good because I really didn’t like him that much in Dream Me Off My Feet. This is set just a few weeks before Dream Me Off My Feet and shows you the pre-tour routine and how everyone gets ready. I don’t normally like reading the same scene written by a different perspective but the way it’s done here makes it so it doesn’t feel like you are reading the same information. Like Dream Me Off My Feet this was very well written. I have once again fallen in love with Stevie Kisner’s writing style; I love how she can just pull you into a story no matter how short. I so can’t wait to read about the rest of the band!!

What a great prequel novella to follow up the awesome debut novel by Stevie Kisner. Meet the band! Kisner delves into the rehearsals and pre-show prep for Slanker Knox's X Rated Tour. Each band member is introduced with a couple of chapters from their own perspective. The readers learn what is going on in each band member's life and gets a little background on why they are the way they are. My only complaint would be it seemed Ian and Clay's stories were much shorter than they other band members. What a great prequel novella to follow up the awesome debut novel by Stevie Kisner. I'm looking forward to Kisner showing more about them in the next novels in her upcoming books. Yet again, another stellar story with great characters. I am personally a huge fan of Stevie Kisner's writing style. Something about it speaks to me. Her characters have depth and her story line flows. If you haven't picked up Stagepass or Dream Me Off My Feet, I highly recommend them. You'll fall in love with the series quickly.

I love the glimpse into all the band members lives just before they embark on another world tour. Knowing they're going to leave family and loved ones for a good portion of a year it's interesting to see how each deals with it. From loneliness in the middle of a sea of people to the impatience to start the circus again Mz Kisner drags us right into the moment and won't let go. An awesome taste of the characters that come into their own with the full length Dream Me Off My Feet. I have it on good authority there's quite a few more books coming up!

This book explained everyone in the band. So you can get to know them a little bit better. The author did an excellent job writing this book about the band. Thanks for writing this book, I enjoyed reading this book too.

OK But Not GREAT I read the book first then STAGEPASS. THAT might be a mistake because I really didn't like this.(it was boring) In fact I was smart, because if I hadn't read the book first and read this second, I would NOT of gone to the book at all. AND I loved the book. You get some of the back-ground of the guys, but nothing that you will get from reading the book. I really DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS BOOK. SAVE YOUR MONEY AND BUY THE BOOK. I won this book in a giveaway alittle while ago. I am bit of a sucker for cool book covers and really like this one especially the mixing in of the british flag. This book is a short introduction to the band Slanker Knox and their individual backstories just before they go on a countrywide tour. I especially like JT and Paul and interested in how the author will explore their vulnerabilities in the next book. Overall, really enjoyable first read of this author.
