Poor Aine. As if having one rock star after her wasn't bad enough, now there are two. Poor Aine. As if having one rock star after her wasn't bad enough, now there are two.

The pregnancy scare really got to me and I honestly thought they would go in that direction and would have been more interesting but it was still cool in the direction they took it. Overall a really good read and excited for the last one I have.

This series is so ridiculous LOL. Aine: "Sure, I'll forgive you for kidnapping me and hypnotizing me because hey, you were just grieving over the sister YOU LOVED IN A NOT SO SISTERLY WAY." I wouldn't say this volume was bad exactly. It just wasn't that interesting to me. There were tons of dramatic things happening, but it all felt a bit boring to me. This was just missing the spark of the others. The art was still really pretty and it was one of the only things keeping me reading, since the plot in this one was mehh. Maybe I was just turned off because of Tomoyuki. I hate that guy. The whole time I was reading, I was hoping he would fall off a cliff and die. For real, he needs to leave the story and never come back. After the end of the last one, I thought he was a psycho. The dude's in love with his dead sister afterall, but this time he took it to another level. Tomoyuki gets a man to (view spoiler)[hypnotize Aine into thinking she is the aforementioned dead sister of his. Wow...just, wow. He needs some counseling. This of course leads to more dramatic events, in which Aine has forgotten who Sakuya is (hide spoiler)] . All I have to say say, is what kind of twisted person thinks that's ok to do? All the characters around him are like, 'it's okay he's acting like a creep because his horrible past is making him be all obsessive and weird'. I disagree completely. He has the hots for his sister which is wrong to begin with. I feel that his past doesn't in any way make his actions alright. Just because you had a tragic incident in your life doesn't mean people should be cool with all the sleazy, creepy things you do.

More of the Jesus vs Lucifer conflict in this fifth volume of the series, and Aine spends more time with Tomoyuki, the frontman for Jesus. Until Sakuya gets seriously injured trying to protect Aine. There is some interesting character development here and again, more plot twists enough to move the story along past the usual romantic angst. This is a worthwhile read and has kept my interest level up enough for me to seek out the next volume in the story.

My Thoughts: Tomoyuki goes to great lengths to replace his dead sister with Aine in this volume. It can't get in the way of true love, though! It just sucks that it takes a nearly fatal accident in order for her to regain her full memory. Also, the secret relationship is no longer a secret! How will this change things?! Overall, a good series so far. I'm glad Sakuya was okay. That other guy was really creepy. Overall, a good series so far. I'm glad Sakuya was okay. That other guy was really creepy.
