Just as the world that's left starts getting into some form of order Joshua guess takes it to the next level! The zombies are still evolving whilst the 'government' which was are now coming out of their safe bunkers and think they can join and lead the survivors in their old positions! I'm actually extremely sad that this is the last book in this series and I now don't know what to read!

Three stars. Again. But it was almost four, seriously. All I can say is that this was better than the fifth one. And I REALLY enjoyed it. Whyyy aren't more people reading these books!? Great series. Amazing, really.

Intense A new and dangerous enemy has arisen. Not more zombies, not marauders, worse, old world politicians. They want to run things and they are willing to do all sorts of dirty things to get their way. Our survivors have a very dangerous threat to deal with in this one.

Great evolution of the series as the crescendo builds Great evolution of the series as the crescendo builds Joshua has done a wonderful job building the post-apocalyptic story up. incrementally building the story of a survivor comm u unity into the epicenter of a national struggle. and in a masterful way strikes out at today's political character without undermining the story at all. imagine what you would expect today's politicians to do after the fall of mankind.

This is a really good book in the series. The world and society are changing. This story leads to a good transformation in the next book. I will read the next book.
