Sooo noooot fair! I am not talking about the unfairness of having to wait for x days to know how this story will wrap up. I am talking about Paul and Emily's inner struggle..well,mostly Paul's because I got to read his POV and it just breaks my heart..*sniff* *sniff* Sooo noooot fair! This is a remarkable read. I loved every bit of it and thought it moved along at a good pace. I was not tempted to skim through any parts of the book. The story is a gripping, emotional trip with wonderful, well-developed characters and I couldn't put it down. This is one that I will reread in a few months. I fell in love with Paul and Emily. Wouldn't every woman want a Paul in her life? I know I sure would. I only had a couple of small problems and the first was their ages. I felt they were more like 22 and 27 or something in that range. I am not sure any 17 year old could have that much depth and wisdom. The same goes for Paul as well. Secondly, I thought the "shower issue for Paul" was way too often and very immature. Had he no self control at all? But as a whole, I adored this book series. I was glad to purchase it all in one. I would have gotten too frustrated waiting for each episode to come out.

Volume IV focused on the relationship between Paul and Emily as man and wife. Consumating their marriage has brought them closer together emotionally and Paul is faced with feelings he never expected to have. A "marriage of convienience" has turned into anything but. I have to say, I am fairly impressed with Noelle Adam and I am so happy I took on a risk and decided to read Listed When I first read the summary I was a little impressed, but kind of nervous because of the lack of reviews, but I figured since there’s 6 novellas it wouldn’t hurt to start with one. [Summary] Emily has 3 months to live. She has compiled a list of 14 things she wants to do before she dies and one of them is to get married. Paul wants Emily to testify in his father’s trial because she overheard incriminating evidence that would help put Paul’s father in jail. Emily tells Paul she will testify if Paul helps Emily complete her list, including marrying her. Paul agrees. [Review] Okay, so you are probably thinking is this going to be a sad book? Yes and no. Yes because Emily is dying and no because the story is so unrealistic. I basically read it as a fantasy. I am a huge fan of the whole damsel-in-distress story line and Listed is so there. One of the most important things I look for in any romance novel is character development between the Hero and Heroine and you get that in Listed . I love there is no insta-love. I didn’t want Paul to look at Emily and magically fall in love with her, but I also didn’t want Paul to dislike her either. Paul treated Emily on a business-like level in the beginning and it was just really nice seeing the friendship form. My favorite part is when Emily started to get symptoms and the story kind of shifted. You felt bad for Emily, yet it was really nice seeing Paul take care of Emily and going crazy with the fact that the girl is dying. Tragic I know, but it makes for a great read. There are a few steamy parts, but overall the story is pretty mild. I really liked the writing style and flow of the book. Everything worked for me and I’m going to keep Noelle Adams on my radar. Does reading novellas suck? Yeah, it does usually, but each book is pretty lengthy on its own (compared to other books that are broken into multiple parts), each is about 80 pages (except for the last part). You could buy the whole series and save a dollar (I would recommend that). I think the ending is pretty obvious so don’t expect tears. If you want something light and you like the “save-me” theme kind of book, then Listed is for you. For more reviews visit, Everyday Shopaholic ----- I <3 Emily, I <3 Paul. Can't wait to move on to Volume V! Will write my review when I finish all 6 volumes.

How many more wonderful things can I say about Paul? He is just absolutely fantastic, and every volume he continues to make women everywhere swoon. His love, protectiveness, and need for Emily are such a joy to read. Their relationship is one of my all-time favorites. In this review, I really want to give a shout-out to Noelle Adams. Everything she includes in this story has a purpose, and I think she does a great job of stringing this story along at the perfect pace. I admire her for including the "fight" between Emily and Paul in this volume. It showcases a real relationship in that even people who love each other deeply don't always get along perfectly. I also greatly appreciate her writing where the sex scenes are concerned. She is amazing at writing scenes that are lovely to read but aren't overly obscene or "smutty" (you know what I mean, we've all read those). I know some readers enjoy the dirtier scenes, but I think Adams writes them beautifully. In addition, we also get to read through two more of Emily's worsening fevers. I am continually awed and inspired by her immense strength and resilience. She is adamant (to the point of stubbornness) in maintaining her independence and dignity as she deals with what life has dealt her, which is something I think we can all aspire to. I'll get off my soapbox now, so we can both move on to the next volume in the series! Can't wait :)

I just finished reading this, and not to sound overly dramatic or anything but... Oh my god, I'm dying! How you can feel so many different emotions on so little pages is still astonishing, and overwhelming. I cannot wait to know how Emily and Paul's story ends. I've waited enough after reading Part III, it's time to go all the way through. Gah! I just finished reading this, and not to sound overly dramatic or anything but... Oh my god, I'm dying! God this series is so good!! Loving Paul more and more. The growing pains of his relationship with Emily are sweet, nurturing, and honest. Time is dwindling and I worry their future may be in for a bumpy road. Love that he is learning what love is and that he is capable of offering it to someone!!
