In this book, you will find easy, applicable ways to not only survive, but thrive in your new position. The content is broken down into three sections: basic, intermediate, and advanced. The information in the basic section is stuff you might learn in a new teacher seminar or academy that your district requires you to attend. In the intermediate section, you will find some tips that are common knowledge to most expert teachers. In the advanced section, there is some hard-core knowledge thrown around. These are tricks that I have learned to help make the world a better place. Yeah, they’re that awesome. So, if you want to learn how to be more productive, then this book is for you. If you are looking for a book that tells you how to set up your classroom or how to manage behavior, then you are looking in the wrong place. I didn't think the world needed another textbook. However, this book is a quick, easy read with tips that can actually be applied starting today. Congratulations on getting your first job. You are going to do great.

This little book is ok. I paid 99 cents and I think the price was ok. It gives you some tips you should know as a 1st year teacher. I have read some books for 1st year teachers before and that's why this book hasn't impressed me too much, but it's still good. :) give it a try This little book is ok.
