Three minutes, that is how long it took for me to understand that this book just isn't worth it. The Virgin Witch and the Vampire King is the prequel of the first book of the series of the same name. It is very short (and by that I mean, very, very short because really, it's not even thirty pages). And it is highly disappointing. The book is a shame on its genre. I mean, what was in fact—I mean, I can't even—I just don't have the strength to. First off, there wasn't really much of a story here. When the book is a prequel, there is supposed to be something but naah, it was just two scenes—just two, mind you and one of which was described very vividly. (Might I add it was gross as well?) Then, I know it wasn't exactly a "book" because it was more of an introduction into what will happen in the first book but come on! Just on how earth did she even get about it? Then there was this scene where the girl (i.e., our virgin witch) falls in the mud and then, when they are in the car, she notices how the Vampire King's face is muddy. Um, hello, where did your mud go? And did anyone notice the names? Beth and Edward? More of like, Bella and Edward. Was this meant to be a fanfiction? Because if it was, then I have to say "not every Twilight fanfiction works!" Overall, it was just a sick attempt at creating a universe and a rather immature and amateur one at that. And I'm sorry if that hurts someone's feelings. P.S. I don't think Twilight worked as well and that Twilight's vampire was rather creepy. Not that this vampire isn't. He is abusive, he has no manners and he just isn't worth it.

Quick Intro This book is a short story that introduces us to most of the main characters and the prophecy which shapes their world. We meet the main couple, Beth and Edward during a traumatic event; where Beth believes her best friend, Nora, has been murdered and she is enraged enough to face off against those responsible. While Edward takes her away from the scene to heal, her father chimes in with a warning. They mate and start the prophecy. Definitely, expect more of the story to follow. We are introduced to the virgin witch Beth Roman while she is searching for her friend Nora who has been missing for the past two days. When Beth finds out Nora has been taken by wizards and weres she knows she must reach her friend before it is too late, and it is here we learns that Beth is special as she is part were and part witch and there is even a prophecy about her and the Vampire king. When she believes she has uncovered Nora’s dead body, Beth unleashes all her power not those responsible although she is stopped and protected by the vampire king; Edward. We learn that Nora didn't actually die but rather as transformed and Edward reveals the prophecy to Beth, and they must mate before midnight on All Hallows Eve which means Beth must sleep with a man who until recently, she severely disliked and give him her virginity before midnight which is only hours away. Despite this Beth does mate with Edward and has the most earth-shattering experience and thus this sets the scene for the first book in the series. While this book was short and quite unrealistic even for a paranormal romance novel, I will be reading the rest of the series as this seem like it could be a new guilty pleasure read for me.

This is a very short story. With that said, even though it's short the author gave some good details of what to expect in this series. My interest is peeked and I can't wait to read more from this series. This story has action from the first page and turns into sexy action in end. I felt this was a great introduction to the series, it left me wanting to read more on these characters. I would recommend reading this story first, I feel it would help you understand the start of their story. ***I vol This is a very short story. This is a prequel to Wedding Bells Times Four and is very short. Beth’s friend, Nora, goes missing and she’s the only one who cares. She’s going to get her justice or so she thinks. This is when she meets Edward, the Vampire King. He has just found out that there’s a prophecy that he must find and join with his mate. This is a very short story that gives us a little background history on Beth and Edward before the next book. It was a good story even if it was short. A very quick into of Beth & Edward and the prophecy written long ago about the two. After believing her best friend is dead Beth wants revenge and uses her powers for the first time public. Solid 2.5/5 stars One of those books you read just for the heck of it. Only pirpose os to pass the time and maybe get your romance/erotica fill. And believe me, this has plenty of both. Ive read other books that had both of those things but had an amazinv plot. Unfortunately this doesnt have much of that. In my opinion this is just good for when you have nothing to do. I'd say go for it if you felt like it though. ARC given to my by the publisher in exchange for an honest review. Solid 2.5/5 stars One of those books you read just for the heck of it. ARC received from NetGalley in exchange for a review. All of my opinions are my own, and are in no way affected by the exchange. This wasnt even a book lmao. It was like 5 pages and felt like a really really REALLY rough outline. Its legit like, My Friend is Missing!, Hunt for Friend, Friend is Dead, I am Angry, Vampire Saves Me?, In a Car, Sex, Married. There ya go. There is the entire freaking "story." I dont even want to call it a novella because it really isnt lol. ARC received from NetGalley in exchange for a review. I requested this book via NetGalley because I saw the description Were-Witch hybrid virgin mating with a Vampire King. It sounded like pure smut and I was totally here for it. Sadly this fell completely short immediately I was confused as to what was going on and why we got no explanations of what was going on or any background on characters. The whole time I was reading I felt like I was missing something and maybe this was a blurb in a bigger story.

This is the first in this series, Quick to read fast moving action!! Poor Beth doesn't really stand a chance against the wiles of The Vampire King. she goes through a lot emotionally from the beginning when she looses her best friend Nora to the werewolves. she is a witch that has been hiding herself but when she thinks Nora is dead she goes for revenge. To call this a book is definitely an exaggeration. Merely a handful of pages, this is a very brief introduction to the THE VIRGIN WITCH AND THE VAMPIRE KING series, and a choppy one at that. This was certainly rushed, providing no background and little in value. I question the author’s need to start a series so unceremoniously.

It looks like this is just a short story prequel to another book. This might be good for another scene for those familiar with the characters as it's just a taste, but it's not really enough to want to seek out more. There's a tiny bit of plot, character introductions, then they scromp. That's pretty much it. *Digital review copy provided by NetGalley and the publisher. This story is clearly an introduction to the first full-length novel in the series and succeeded in making me curious enough to order that book as well. That being said, be warned that this story does not stand on it's own and that it should definitely be read as an extended prologue to the novel. It's a good introduction to the characters and the feel of the world that Blacio has created. The story was so rushed and not well constructed that it gave me whiplash. It was also bad and it had the stereotypical female virgin, male manwhore trope that I have come to hate since it's so overused. The dude knew that Beth was his mate, but he was out with some bimboes. Am I supposed to like him after that? I hope that book 1 will be better written without any ow drama since I am still not convinced that Edward can be faithful. The story was so rushed and not well constructed that it gave me whiplash. WARNING: FLAMMABLE!! Beth WAS a virgin witch, until Vamp King Edward lite her undies on fire. Edward knew what he wanted & that was Beth, so he helped her unleash her inner NAUGHTINESS, killed with pleasure, mated & then tied her up in marriage bow. Now her dad was a grand wizard who knew that Beth was a things good & her brother all things evil, so he had always had a safe haven to protect her away from her brother, Brian. She has been under lock, key & flanked by 2 yummy twin wolf shifters, Rock & Dred, who are her guards by order of her dear hubby, & misses her personal haven. Edward has been slowly breaking in her inner HO, but he is ready for her next step! That next steps is to welcome Rock & Drew into their bed & she maybe a shy girl, but she is totally down with that! They decide to go to her safe haven to begin their new NOT sleeping arrangement, but at her home her troublemaking, power hungry, evil & "not right in the head" brother strikes first & she endangers her own life to protect her 3 yummy males! When she wakes up from her coma, Edward, Rock & Dred are so pissed because HELLO, they are King & Wolves, so they need to protect her. They have some many sinful punishments for her, decadent indulgences galore & their christen every room in their huge safe haven. Having 1 dominant wasn't enough for Beth, so she gets down, dirty, cuddled, sandwiched, pounded & truly loved by all her males. Along the way they become as one another's lifeline, all of them have to let the bonding flow freely between them, to become a untied fierce force as they fight for themselves! Too many enemies to count like a inner fighting wolf pack, magic mayhem, the King's court & through it all Beth needs to be embrace all her & her males! This is my 1st Ms. Blacio read & it will not be my last! Beth was a great heroine because she GREW all through this read & to me she was FIERCE, FEISTY & gave everything & one her 101%. Edward had 2 sides to himself, the Vamp King extraordinary & his hidden gooey heart, but he saved that for his Beth & even Rock & Dred. I still can't believe that Beth took all their dominant BS, but she got all 3 Alpha of yumminess all to herself! Hilariousness was aplenty in this tale & I even snorted soda up & out my nose while reading, so be PREPARED! Now all my romance peeps, know I love the spark & sizzle of a romance. Mr. Blacio took a blow torch to a gas pump, added STERIODS & HELLO, EXPLOSIONS! All 4 pairs of my FLAME RESISTANT UNDIES went up in smoke & I totally want my MONEY BACK or I will just bill Ms. Blacio for them in freebie books! This ménage romance had great characters that needed to bare it all, fight for their love, never back down from a fight, with massive hilariousness & have some serious NAUGHTINESS all the way, so I give it my top score of 5 fingers up & 10 toes & Ms. Blacio I am awaiting my freebie books for my flame resistant undies refund! NetGalley ARC given for my honest review.

The Virgin Witch & The Vampire King by Trinity Blacio is the beginning of a new series by the same name. While it is extremely short, I will say it was a complete story but also just the beginning of Beth and Edward’s relationship. There isn’t much back story but I am not sure it was needed. We meet Beth, a determined and powerful witch. She is the type of woman any of us would want as a friend. When she knows something is wrong and she fights for those she cares about. I like that he is aware that prophecy or not Beth deserves it. This story was short and concise which isn’t easy to do. Ms. Blacio explained why things needed to happen fast and I found it believable. Ms. Blacio is a favorite author of mine.
