Zoey is super excited for the school dance at Madison Prep, but a little nervous because it is a Sadie Hawkins dance, and she will have to ask a boy. She has no problems coming up with a dress for her friends, but is stuck on what to make for herself-- and who she can ask to the dance. Then, she gets a call asking her to be a judge on television's Fashion Showdown! Of course, she wants to do that, but OMG, it's the same night as the dance. She can't let her friends down! Add to the complication that her father has given his girlfriend Cindy a promise ring, and the drama is just huge. In true Zoey fashion, though, she manages to work everything out with the help of a supportive aunt, teacher, and fabric store clerk. Strengths: The sixth grade girls ADORE this series, and I can see 4th and 5th graders really liking it as well. It's got everything-- girl drama, boys, and lots and lots of pretty clothes. Weaknesses: Almost feel bad peddling there, since they make me feel covered in glitter. Still, they aren't as superficial as some tween books, and they are great for struggling and reluctant readers. I'm buying all of them as they come out, and so far there are at least five.

Zoey is going on TV! And this book is just not up to far with the first two in the series just because Zoey spends so much time thinking about Lorenzo, her long time crush. This plot about Zoey trying to ask Lorenzo to her school dance just seems so not fitting to the Sew Zoey plot. I find that it literally takes me days to finish this book. Just because I don't like that Zoey has to think about one particular boy all the time. This affects the whole story mood. SORRY, DOES EVERY MIDDLE SCHOOL SERI Zoey is going on TV! SORRY, DOES EVERY MIDDLE SCHOOL SERIES NEED A BOY TO MAKE SURE THE HEROINE'S LIFE IS NORMAL? Hence, the 2 stars.

This review has been hidden because it contains spoilers. To view it, click here. This book is about SewZoey, a middle school girl that loves fashion design. Her school dance is coming up and she get super excited about making dresses for her and her friends, but at the same time she gets invited to a world wide fashion TV show as a guest judge. How Amazing! Personally this book was quite easy to me, as the vocabulary was about upper primary school level. It also had a lot of creative content and thought into it, which makes it even more interesting. That why I loved this boo This book is about SewZoey, a middle school girl that loves fashion design. Another reason behind why I like this book is because of my interest in fashion and design. Since, this book features mini sketches of dresses and fashion content. So if your a fashion lover, I'm sure you'll love this book too!

The book was fun. It was where Zoey's school was having a Sadie's Hawkins dance. At the Sadie's Hawkins dance girls ask boys to dance with them. But at Mrs.Browns class Ivy makes fun of Zoey. When Zoey got home from school she got a phone call from her favourite show, Fashion Showdown asking her to be a guest judge. Zoey is excited to be in Fashion Showdown. But then she notices it's on the same day as the Sadie's Hawkins dance. What will she choose? Fashion or fun? The book was fun. It was where Zoey's school was having a Sadie's Hawkins dance. This story will appeal to lots of young girls! Easy enough to read, and they will relate to the content: boys, dances, and the eternal question, "What to wear?" I wondered to whom Zoey was talking at first, it was not obvious that she was posting on her blog. Very informal language for a blog, and I did not see the focus on design that would have drawn attention from a national television show. This story will appeal to lots of young girls!
