Pretty good, but again with the fan service. The covers were pretty good though. I did miss Alice Calie and Violet though as well as Ches. Overall, decent.

Continuing the story started with Call to Wonderland (the Cuthulu crossover with Zenescope's Wonderland). Detective Lagrasse has to investigate a murder which quickly escalates as her partner distrusts her after her rapid appointment as a Detective. Much better that 'Call' with significant less Cuthulu and considerably more Wonderland (albeit set in the real world). A nice addition to Wonderland, although those put off by fan service and excessive blood will need to look for a different series! Sequel to Call Of Wonderland. Very enjoyable graphic novel. Looking forward to the next in the series.

This story is an improvement over the previous book, Call of Wonderland. It is much more interesting and introduces the new Mad Hatter. The H. P. Lovecraft sub story is better this time around, but still feels tacked on, unnecessary, and unfinished. It would have been much better if those and possible future stories were collected in a trade by themselves. The previous volume left off with Salome and Julie going through the mirror to become the new Queen of Hearts. At the end of that trade it stated to read this one next. However, it did not mention anything about the women, or the Queen of Hearts. This is disappointing and misleading. I have read the 10 volume Wonderland set after this trade and unlike the previous volume this one is recommend for those Wonderland readers who want to know how Emma became the Mad Hatter. The art line work is done by different artist and the difference is a bit distracting. Some of styles I liked and other not so much. However, the coloring is done by the same person and it is excellent.

Sequel to Call Of Wonderland, which was itself a sequel to the original trilogy (Return to Wonderland, Beyond Wonderland, Escape From Wonderland) and also the 2009 & 2010 Annuals (House Of Liddle GN). Both Call and Madness act as prequels to the Wonderland ongoing series (Wonderland vols.1-10). The story of Detective Emma Legrasse continues, as she continues to read Lovecraft's journal and finds similarities to a serial killer that she is pursuing. Kind of annoyed that the cover is a massive spoiler.
