My son really likes me too read to him the Jake Johnson stories before bed. I am really impressed with these books after finding out the author James Warburton is only nine years old. So this story starts out with our cast of characters form the first book, Jake, George, and Jana. This book has them going on a quest of epic proportion full of adventure and magic. George has found his mother is missing so he assembles the gang to go find her and eventually save her from her captors. That’s about all I want to let out of bag without ruining the story for everyone. This a great story that your kids will love. Recommended reading for children who like adventure and fantasy.

Terrible! This book series is a complete knockoff of Percy Jackson and the Olympians. It also has no connection to Greek mythology. At least Riordian takes the time to actually study what he's going to write about! If you want to read this book, don't. Pick up any book by Rick Riordian, trust me, it'll be MUCH better. Terrible!
