   Ehhhhhhh..... was what I thought when I read this. Chris hart blathers and rambles far too much in this book. His "humor" and blurbs are useless attempts to sound funny or entertaining. There is no help or instruction whatsoever on drawing in this style. I realize this is one of his favorite subjects but his pathetic blubberings on horror and goths is too much to handle. It's like he got a bunch of artists together that were good/decent at drawing in anime style and told them to draw outfits fro Ehhhhhhh..... was what I thought when I read this. It's like he got a bunch of artists together that were good/decent at drawing in anime style and told them to draw outfits from Kera while inserting personal observations and anecdotes from his own lifee. And that is the only selling point of this book. Good drawings and nice coloring perhaps but no substance, no suggestions, no character design. I'd recommend Manga Mania Occult Horror How to Draw the Elegant and Seductive Characters of the Dark over this one. Inconsistent art that's not as pretty at times, but actually helpful and explanation of character designs, the difference of angles, bodies, wings, etc than Chris Hart's useless coffee table book.

   A beautifully illustration drawing instruction book. Page quality is wonderful and the drawing steps are quite detailed. A lot of variety for manga monsters along with backgrounds. A great book to grow into as well, as many drawings build up to more advanced drawers. It is a drawing book that can be used over & over for building your skills as well as a reference book.

   I loved this book about how to draw goth manga. It teaches the important components of goth. This definitely expects you to have used Manga for the Beginner. It spent a lot of time on vampires.

   It was so cool and yet so creepy! Also very helpful in that I needed to know how to do some of the stuff it taught. kind of scary, though. And the vampires creeped me out!
