    I really recommend this bible for homeschooling moms. It’s devotions cut to the heart and we’re very encouraging with all the daily struggles we face as moms who homeschool their children. It’s broken up by day, so I was able to read the Bible in a year using it’s format.

    Depending on your preference there are various ways to enjoy these devotions for homeschool mammas. You have the option of just a devotional book or the Bible with the devotions throughout in NIV or KVJ. There is also the option of hardcover or leatherbound and now I think there is even the option of a compact version verses the standard size. Specifically I have my hand on a pink leather-bound New International Version (NIV) Bible. It's a standard size and the material is buttery soft. Specifically I have my hand on a pink leather-bound New International Version (NIV) Bible. It's a standard size and the material is buttery soft. The interior is black text with tones of grey in embellishments on borders and edges. This is not a red-letter Bible. In the very end of the book there are several blank pages for notes. The NIV leatherbound is very attractive and I believe the KJV will be just as much. The Homeschool Mom's Bible could easily by the main or only BIble you use. Personally I'm a bit of a Bible collector and I have experienced some Bibles that are good for a purpose, but I wouldn't necessarily use them as my main Bible (Archaeological Study Bible-NIV: An Illustrated Walk Through Biblical History and Culture, etc). The Homeschool Mom's Bible is simple and has all the scripture of a NIV Bible plus daily devotions meant specifically for homeschool moms. I've never really experienced something like this before. I've read plenty of blogs so I know the support of homeschool moms is out there, but to have it laid out and daily date for a grab, flip and read is very simple and convenient. It works well for a busy mama! I received this product free for the purpose of reviewing it. I received no other compensation for this review. The opinions expressed in this review are my personal, honest opinions. Your experience may vary.     As a homeschool mom's I've always had to carefully plan my days so that I can include time to read my bible and time to study it. And God-forbid I come across a day where I'm completely off schedule (this happens A LOT) and I have to remember to squeeze in time to read and study. Many times I find myself praying through out the day. Many a days that's the only way I can get through the day with the small prayers carrying me through the day. Many times I find myself praying through out the day. Many a days that's the only way I can get through the day with the small prayers carrying me through the day. So as a book reviewer, I saw the opportunity to review The Homeschool Mom's Bible NIV and I jumped for joy! Why? Because not only is it a bible geared specifically towards Homeschool Mommies, it has a year worth of devotionals included in the bible among the scripture. So not only can I get a daily devotional in, that devotional is set among the Word so I almost immediately read the Word around the devotional and reflect on what I read. The bible is of a nice size, its small enough to throw inside a bag when running out the house yet big enough to not cause you to have to squint. I love the bible however I did take off the jacket, I'm not a big fan of jackets cause they move around a lot unless I tape them down. I recommend this to the mom on the go or the mom who wants to combine her daily devotional with her bible so that she never forgets one or the other. (Like I have done on occasion.) {FYI: I received this bible from the publisher, Zondervan, in exchange for my HONEST review.}

    This is a wonderful devotional Bible for any mom, not just for homeschoolers, although I really like the fact that it's geared it toward homeschool moms. The readings are not long, but are encouraging and challenge you to keep going no matter what Motherhood is throwing at you today. The font is a good size for reading and there's not a lot of extra 'stuff' in the margins, which I like. Clean and simple. The devotional pages have a darker border around them which makes them easier to spot, I don't really like that these devotional pages are interspersed throughout the Bible (in order, of course). The end of each devotional tells you the page number of the next one, but that's only good if you can actually use a bookmark at your house without it being pulled out by small fingers at some point in the day! Tabs would have been helpful, or maybe having the devotional at the front or back of the Bible. I can't complain about the content, as the ones I've read are excellent. There is a topical index for the devotionals at the back of the Bible. I received this Bible from Booksneeze and Zondervan in exchange for an honest review. My opinion is my own. Thank you Zondervan!
