   Outstanding! So helpful not only in grasping the flow and detail of Paul's teaching in Romans 5-8, but also (as a result) in making clear on a practical level God's wisdom for how to live the Christian life, battling sin and living in the freedom of justifying grace. Someone needs to reprint this as it's no longer readily available and is sufficiently different in style from Stott's later Roman's commentary to make them both of benefit. Outstanding!    Classic exposition of Romans 5-8. Stott is a model of clarity and concision. I read it twenty years ago and then again this last month, very helpful both times for understanding this section of Romans. Recommended.
