Tinker Bell must come up with a plan to get Clank back into Pixie Hollow in time for the party, without giving away the surprise. Tea Orsi wrote a great graphic novel, perfect for young girls. Using a grid-like format, Orsi makes it easy for readers to follow the story. The illustrations in Tinker Bell and the Most Precious Gift use mostly green and blue. The green helps the reader to feel like we are also in Pixie Hollow, the forest. And the blue helps us to still feel calm even though we are not sure how Tinker Bell is going to find Clank. This book has good themes, talking about teamwork and how it's okay to get other people to help. You don't have to do everything by yourself. It is targeted toward younger girls and tells a great story.

I think I prefer my fairy-stories-aimed-at-seven-to-nine-year-olds to have plots that stretch more than eight pages.
