Revisiting this book after a few years and deeper research. This is a nice intro to the subject, but the tone is just... strange. The Sunday-school-picture-book delivery leaves a lot to be desired, but I can see how this might be useful in teaching very young students. That being said, there is some dissonance with the content and presentation that I just can’t get past.

This is a MUST for every musician, amateur and professional! I cannot tell you how many of my students have had misconceptions about their anatomy that truly interferes with their music making. Some have been rather amusing but some misconceptions can, and do lead to injuries so it is absolutely vital to clear them up.
