By the time I got around to buying book II of this course, the integrated edition was disappearing from bookshops, so this is my odd one out. I became used to the smaller format of the integrated editions and prefer them to this size. I have been learning Latin on and off for 15 yrs or so using these books and every time I return to the material, it becomes easier. I really love all these books and what they have given me.

I'm encouraged because these stories seem to be getting easier to translate...I'm operating under the assumption that it’s because I’m getting better at this Latin business, but it’s possible they are lulling me into a false sense of security. But why would they do that? No, I won’t believe it. I think they really want me to learn Latin. I think they want everyone to learn it. Its taken me a year to work my way through this, but I have finally made it. This is a great way to learn Latin. The stories which are presented are interesting and introduce characters which you do come to care about. I cannot wait to start on book 3!

Not a lot of new grammatical information here. Could perhaps add a little more meat to the fine stories.
