enlightening, grateful for the information as I was lost . Dr.'s do not explain the disorder (s) in a way that the child and parents family are able to understand , really no definitive explanation on support groups or therapy. The Bipolar Teen , presents clear real life experiences . nice to know what options are available treatments, therapy, charts , and medications so much more .I'm giving a copy to therapist for other patients to read. I see bipolar in a different light.. enlightening, grateful for the information as I was lost . Wonderful resource for any family--or friend of a family, dealing with a bi-polar teen. The symptoms of both ends of the spectrum can manifest very differently than sometimes seen in adult onset bi-polar. This book is the result of years of research and is a splendid tool.
