Very eye-catching and interesting pieces shown here what made me buy this book in the first place. However I felt like there wasn't much to read about the artists. I would love to see a bit more of the description of them and their work. Also I would find it very helpful if there was mentioned the place of the photographed artwork. But overall my eyes were pleased. 😌 Very eye-catching and interesting pieces shown here what made me buy this book in the first place. However I felt like there wasn't much to read about the artists. I finished this in an afternoon and evening but I'm not sure if I'll count it toward the years challenge because there wasn't much reading involved and out of the writing in the book I read maybe half. I basically flipped through the artwork and when something caught my eye I read the snippet about the artist. I ended up surprised at two things - the first was just how many artists I liked and the second was the differences between the art.\ The artists I liked most out of this book, in no particul I finished this in an afternoon and evening but I'm not sure if I'll count it toward the years challenge because there wasn't much reading involved and out of the writing in the book I read maybe half. I basically flipped through the artwork and when something caught my eye I read the snippet about the artist. I ended up surprised at two things - the first was just how many artists I liked and the second was the differences between the art.\ The artists I liked most out of this book, in no particular order are: Slinkachu (London) Pablo Delgado (London) Nick Walker's "Does My Head Look Big In This?" (Bristol) Pinky (Brighton) Dave the Chimp (Berlin) Swanski (Warsaw) Banksy (Bristol) Jon Burgerman (New York) Shantell Martin (New York) ESPO/Stephen Powers (Philly) - I was really surprised that I recognized none of these. Philly is where I was first introduced to graffiti and street art and I can recall numerous images to this day. Boris Hoppek (Barcelona) Spike (Luxembourg City) Aryz (Cardedue, Spain) Zosen (Barcelona) Pez (Bogota, Colombia) Gola (Rimini, Italy) I can see this being a four or five star book for a person who is more of an artist, especially one into this type of art. I'm no artist and I'm probably one of the most uncreative people in the world but I found it interesting myself. It's made me think.

Nice compilation. I especially like the addition of the chat jake had with banksy before he burst out into the mainstream. Something like 'back then, none of us could ever had imagined how big he'd become' nice Nice compilation. An excellent collection of Street Art from around the world, several artists new to me an many have put names to pieces I've seen in Shoreditch etc. Got it in the Kindle sale for about a quid and reads very well on my Nexus 7 - even more so I'd imagine if you have an iPad or larger tablet.
