I enjoyed this volume of Olmstead's series more than the one on The Walking Dead, possibly because I know considerably less about the genesis of Mad Men (or the people behind it) than I do The Walking Dead. Mad Men is a show I enjoy but sometimes have a hard time getting a handle on; reading this really helped me put some of my thoughts about it into a context it didn't have before. None of the volumes are 'heavy' reading; they're short, light reading...but enjoyable. While there are bits of interesting background stories and analysis of Mad Men's story and production, Kathleen spends more than half of the book reiterating the TV series. Considering the price I paid for the iTunes version of the book, I can't complain. Yet, the book's title is somewhat misleading.
