I gave this three stars only because it is a good effort. I don't agree with a lot of the information in this book because it is with a huge religious slant, and there are questions to pose to your spouse when you are on your "dates". I have been married to my love for almost 17 years and I have to say that if you don't know the answers to these proposed questions, it is no wonder why you may have a really crappy marriage. They are so basic, these are things you should already know about your spouse. I can't remember what the questions were, and it isn't worth it to me to look back, but they are along the lines of "who is your best friend?", "what was your favorite subject in high school". To be fair, the questions are broken up in different levels, and even the levels that are very personal seem to me to be basic stuff you should already know about your spouse. I would highly recommend this book to people who have a not-so-good relationship, and would like to try to improve it, who is very religious, otherwise, this is pretty basic stuff.

An excellent book on how to spice up your marriage and strategically meet the top needs of your spouse. For someone who is RDD (Romance Deficiet Disorder, LOL) this book was great for me. They have pre- and post-date ideas for how to continue to meet those needs throughout the week as well. Targeted discussion questions help to resolve old issues and bring couples closer together. There is a section for men to plan dates for their wives and a section for wives to plan dates for their husbands. I thought this book gave some good insight on some fun dates to do with your spouse. I really like how it opens the box of creativity. No more dinner and a movie. That's still ok, but this throws in some variety and we all know that variety is the spice of life. I would recommend this book if you feel like you have gotten into a dating rut AKA always dinner and a movie. Think outside the box a little. Okay read although most of what was said seemed like common sense. Got a bit preachy.

I like that the dates go along with the his needs/her needs. Great idea.
Jennifer Alexander Reynolds –
I loved how the dates were divided into his needs/her needs. Sound advice and really makes you ask yourself the hard questions. If you were honest with yourself this book could be a great resource.
