There was never a time when Georgia Franklin never wanted Tommy Dixon. Even when he push her swing as a child before she started school. Now as a teenager, her sister asked her to sing in her place with her boyfriend's band as she felt ill. Tango allowed her to sing in his bar when the band practiced leaving her center stage with bright lights that blinded her. Tango was okay with her underaged self being in the bar as long as she stayed in the dressing room until the band got started. Tango allowed her to sing in his bar when the band practiced leaving her center stage with bright lights that blinded her. Tango was okay with her underaged self being in the bar as long as she stayed in the dressing room until the band got started. Suddenly she belted out on Ronnie's borrowed guitar and dazzled the band! From then on, she was a member of the band and her and Lissa were scouted out and asked to sign a contract that didn't include the guys! It had been twenty-five years since Georgia left to pursue her career, and as a singer/songwriter in the dazzling LA scene, she had to return to Cypress Falls, Louisiana to attend her niece's wedding. She had never married as she gave her heart to a boy a long time ago, but he didn't want her and now she knew she would see him again as the town wasn't that big! With her sister Ginger and her best friend Malibu in tow, they made there way back to destiny and the place it had all started...................... Sandra Edwards pens a delightful story of three southern belle sisters, ripe with a two decade old grudge, a town that hated Georgia for betraying her older sister, and long overdue love! I was given this book in exchange for an honest review, and so far Ms. Edwards has not disappointed me

3.5 Star review of The Memory Bouquet (Southern Charmers Book 1) by Sandra Edwards A light hearted and quick read from Sandra Edwards. I have to admit I was a little lost whilst reading this one. The chapters were quick to read but because there were 3 Franklin sisters involved I felt that just as I was getting to understand and know one of them, then the story ended. It was a little frustrating to be honest. Even though I knew that there is a follow up story to come. It was a little frustrating to be honest. Even though I knew that there is a follow up story to come. The Memory Bouquet is a prequel to The Lonely Hearts Club. The books as with all the previous books I have read by Sandra Edwards were well written. They caught my interest enough that I cannot wait to see how the stories of the 3 sisters unfold. Lost loves and opportunities is the theme of The Memory Bouquet. It was interesting to see how each sister related to the other and I must say I am intrigued to see how it all pans out when they all come together for the first time in over 20 years for the wedding of their daughter and niece in The Lonely Hearts Club

This was part of a book bundle called "Lovers Lane Collection". Before I got to the end where it stated that this was a Prequel to "The Lonely", I judged I was reading a quick characterization and back story of several characters. It just didn't read like a story. There are 3 sisters and each section is titled with their name. This Prequel left me wondering if this was meant to tweak my interest in the actual book, or was the actual book lacking in the characterizations and back story, so this Pr This was part of a book bundle called "Lovers Lane Collection". The Memory Bouquet is a delightful collection of 3 short stories about the Franklin sisters. Each story gives us a little snippet of each lady and their back story. I loved this collection, it was sweet & funny and is the perfect lead up to The Lonely Hearts Club.

Three shorts stories about three sisters. I enjoyed the short stories. I just might have to read the novel these stories were leading up to.

I couldn't follow this at all. the setting kept changing with no rhyme or reason. Too many simular characters introduced too quickly and not deeply enough to care. This is one I abondoned. The stories never come together; the book ends abruptly. I know there is more to come however a book should be able to stand alone.

A nice little preview of the series. It peaks your interest in the stories without giving too much away.
