Liam finds himself partnered at work with Bishop, and OMG, he is just Liam's wet dream come true, of course he is straight, but nice, and friendly and serious EyeCandy. They develop a friendship but after one kiss Bishop takes off and Liam is heartbroken, through a whole bunch of coincidences they don't see each other again for over a year. In the meantime Liam meets hunky and sweet homicide detective Jack. they start dating and get hot and heavy and fall in love within about a week. Liam runs back into Bishop and decides he wants his cake and he wants to eat it too, or lick the frosting of them at least. This part was interesting, if a little short, but Jack wasn't sure about sharing Liam, and he really was afraid of losing Liam, Bishop had never been interested in men before, but he knew he loved Liam. Could he love Jack too? Did Jack want to share? Of course there was a homophobe and some bashing and an attempted murder. But it was a pretty quick read, and not heavy. It was a bit of insta love, but it was still a good ménage story and gave me my fix.

Ok, Lynn Hagen books aren't for everyone. I love to read them as a pick me up. They are uncomplicated and light. There is always a conflict but it is usually just a "bump" in the road. This is a good one of hers. There is a little more to it and there is a multiple partnership involved. I enjoyed the characters and watching how they managed their problems and worked together to make the relationship work. Fun story with a simple overall plot:) Ok, Lynn Hagen books aren't for everyone. I love to read them as a pick me up. They are uncomplicated and light. Recomendable.

He falls head over heels for the little man, but now Liam’s first love is back on the scene and Liam is torn. I was actually thoroughly enjoying this book and admiring the way that the author’s style had developed and matured and how well-developed the characters were and then Bishop walked back into Liam’s life and miffed me off. Liam falls in love with Bishop, knowing that Bishop is gay and nothing can happen but then Bishop kisses him and disappears. Liam, feeling rejected, goes to his sisters and ends up being laid off so he starts anew. Jack meets Liam while looking into a murder at Liam’s old house. He sweeps Liam off his feet and just when things are going great…Bishop comes back into Liam’s life. Okay, so all three characters are great and so are their reactions, to a point. and they all have great personalities and they all mesh well together, but, for me, it was ruined a bit by Liam’s easy acceptance of Bishop back into his life and how he contemplates getting everything he wants without even taking Jack’s feelings into account. But, I admired Jack’s resolve in willing to do anything for Liam and the fact that Bishop was willing to also give it a try was great. Liam though…it confused me how he could still loves someone that deeply after no contact for a year and the fact that it was a straight man who had fled after kissing him. The bullying was well portrayed and I liked the twisty little murder because that came out of nowhere and Jack’s reaction was really well done and an honest one at that. The tentative way that Jack, Bishop and Liam work towards the relationship is great and I loved how it progressed. The sex is hot and it was very natural between the three of them. I liked the gay for you aspect and then the gay for them and I liked the way that Bishop had to think hard about what he wanted. I have to recommend this to those who love ménage, gay for you, a bit of angst, some danger, hot sexy man love and a happy ever after (after all the shocks and hospital visits that is).

a well-written menage that doesn't oversimplify this kind of relationship. Enough angst to keep the book interesting, but not too much. I especially appreciate the gfy combined with poly- it hit all the right spots for me! a well-written menage that doesn't oversimplify this kind of relationship. Nice and lovely read, Liam is cute and sweet and not want to give up to two men who loves. How blame him? between Jack and Bishop, one more yummy the other.
