Really, really good book. For a novice cocktail maker it is simply great! Lots of home made syrups (which you can use not only for alcoholic drinks, but also mix them with soda or water for a refreshing drinks). Each syrup recipe is followed by a few cocktail recipes using it. You'll learn to make your own infusions and even cocktail garnishes. The book is really well planned, informative, written with an easy language and has a "flow" to it, so it's more than simply a reference book full of reci Really, really good book. Don't know how it would be seen by a well seasoned cocktail maker/bar person, but for a novice like myself it's really good start! Cheers! :D

I love love love this book! It has some amazing recipes that can be used for more than just cocktails. It is well written and easy to understand. Any person with a moderate degree of skill in the kitchen can make these recipes with no problems. The majority of the recipes use ingredients you can easily find at your local grocery store or in your backyard (like honeysuckle or hibiscus flowers). It even tells you how to store your homemade products and what the shelf life will be. I can't wait to I love love love this book!
