Accept Lord Standish when he asks for your hand and all will be well. Lady Katherine Wilcox has an unfortunate problem. She’s desperate to avoid marriage to an aging earl who may very well squash her on her wedding night. Her only hope it seems is to snare the wicked Lord Standish and ignore her troubling attraction to his identical twin brother. Both gentlemen set her pulse racing and fill her sleepless nights with wild imaginings. If Lady Katherine is very good, she may well pull off capturing one brother. But the trouble is catching just one alone. A note from Miss Vivian: A virgin was willingly debauched in the making of this short story. Excerpt: Lord Standish drew closer. “What is wrong, Kate?” He caught her fingers in his strong grip and pulled her close. “Why won’t you dance with Archie?” Kate closed her eyes as his thumb caressed the back of her hand. She could not think clearly with Lord Standish caressing her hand, but she lacked the strength to pull away from the tender touch. “My father is here, inside the ballroom with Lord Ames. “And Lord Ames is important because?” She shuddered. “My father wants me to marry him.” “Over my dead body,” Lord Archibald growled as he crowded against her back. He captured her other hand in a grip so tight she winced. She lifted her chin to stare at Lord Standish. However, he neither seemed to notice, nor mind, that they both held her hands. The pair crowded closer until she was fully sandwiched between them.

This is a short historical romance about twin brothers and a woman that neither can say no too. The adore and worship her. She has always liked them both but how to choose? The story worked for me and I loved it.
