    I'm not a huge fan of Tom Walsh, but I do like some of his "thoughts for the day." I appreciate that though he does incorporate the use of (G)od in this meditations/thoughts, he states this upfront, and in a non-confrontational way. As such, I am able, (and continue to be able,) to get great satisfaction from these thought for a day passages. It is a very easy way to think about things and get a focus on the day. There are some parts I skip once in awhile. (Only reading the meditation or the quote.) Some days I skip all together. I have this listed on my continuous "Currently-Reading" list because, although it is complete after one year, it is not set on one year in particular. (In other words: it goes: Jan. 1; Jan. 2; etc. Like I said, it's not overly religiously and I can absolutely appreciate that. It is approachable by any person who wants to have a little meditation in their life, without the pressure of religion. Those kind of reflective/meditation/quote books are very difficult to find. Four stars.

    I have just about gone through the whole year with this, sometimes missing a day or two, but it's become a habit to spend a minute or two each morning reading the day's meditations. I've found it useful, and it's not based on any religion or viewpoint, rather general topics which everyone can benefit from. A review copy was provided by the publisher.
